Overall, a good place for special occasions. It is very pricey, but you won't feel like you've wasted your money.
The menu is simple, but the flavors are outstanding. The pasta is very rich and creamy and extremely flavorful.
Service is very formal and professional. The staff is very knowledgeable, and friendly without being overly chatty.
I love the wine selections, but would like to see more of a beer selection for my husband.
We have been here twice now and are eagerly awaiting the opening of the downtown location. Â The first time we went, we did the Chef's Tasting Menu with the wine pairing. Â The bill was not cheap, but it was far and away the best meal either of us have ever had. Â Everything was interesting, delicious and cooked to perfection. Â We have been to Nicola's, Orchid, etc, and always left felling there was indeterminate balance that was not achieved. Â Every detail, from texture, taste, plating, portion size and cadence flowed seamlessly. Â For this reason I have not mentioned any specific dishes, as it is the whole experiance that you need to go for.
