The Zone

I use to love going to the Zone! It was more fun when I did not reside in the area. Once I moved to West Hollywood it has become less exciting because now when I go I see people from the grocery, the cleaners or just around town. I prefer to be more anonymous going to a place like this. I'm a private person and going when I resided somewhere else.

Ah, yes...The Zone. I have been going to The Zone on and off for what seems like half my adult life...I was a patron way back before The Fire, so that just goes to show you...this sex club can not be beat, for many reasons. First would be location, it is in West Hollywood, and gets a good share of clubbers fresh from the dance floors and bar stools from WeHo to Silverlake, and so a late night influx is to be expected, especially if there is an event at, say The Mayan, or one of the larger Hollywood venues. The Zone offers Valet Parking, which is very helpful...we even valeted a friend once who had decided to snooze in my back seat. (please note, The Zone does not invite you to valet people)
2nd advantage of The Zone would be facility...I have watched really hot porno movies shot here, and might as well have made a couple here, as the rambling two story floor plan lends itself to reconfiguration often, (due to non-permant room division) which adds interest, especially to a repeat visitor, it also lends itself handsomely to the 3rd good reason to go to The Zone, and that would be the non-stop Cat&Mouse non- verbal shenanigans that this place is famous for. As I put it years ago, "it's all about a silowette" where as your costume, and Swag pretty much account for your presentation and you will reap what you sow in kind. In other words, whatever you put out there will come back.  The staff are all pros and conduct a high level of maintainance and control, while hardly being noticed at all. They are kind, polite, and chilled. The music is great, if not heavy and "tunnel" laden, reminiscent of NYC after-hours haunts. Long ago there was a wonderful music shop in WeHo on Santa Monica Blvd. that would honor a nice discount on your purchases when you showed them your Zone membership card...too bad they are gone...but The Zone remains...why don't  you come and try, with an open mind, to bring Sexy, not Sketchy back. Yeah.

I visited The Zone on a Wednesday night and enjoyed myself.  

It's a large, multi-level complex with many dark corners, booths, stalls, and a variety of glory-hole configurations.  There's porn playing everywhere.

It's relatively clean as these places go.  Most of the men keep their clothes on, but there is a clothes check if you want to walk around wearing less -- or nothing at all.

It was a little too dark for my taste, but I still had a good time.  Definitely worth a visit.
