Horrible parking. The food here was OK, nothing special.. I ordered the salmon plate and while I did taste good I thought it was a little overpriced for the amount of food.

I ordered:

Beet and Avocado Salad

Roasted Baby Beets tossed with Balsamic Vinaigrette
& Roasted Pistachios - 12

Perfect salad, not drowning in dressing, and just the right amount of everything. I'm a big fan of roasted pistachios, so good job guys.

For dinner I ordered:

Steak Frites

8oz USDA Prime Cut Filet - 30

Had it medium, and it was pretty good. The fries were too salty, but I still finished the whole darned plate of 'em.

After this recent meal, I don't even remember what I used to order from here....the salmon looked good, but I heard the kale way way too salty as well.

If anything, just tell the waiter to tell the chef to ease up on the salt?

We went here before we went to see a film at the Arclight, and I feel its one of the better places to eat that is walking distance from the theater...its not so bad! :)

Sooo we were looking for a spot to go to for dinner before catching out movie at arclight. First let me start by parking... although it is not on magnolia to provide parking. Parking is kind of horrendous in this area. But what do you expect, it's hollywood right? Anyways, I found a metered spot across the street, and it was only 1 hour maximum. We were seated because we had a prior reservation, which was nice. It was still early so it wasn't too crowded yet. The reason why I picked to come here, was because I had been to the Magnolia location in Pasadena, and I really liked it so I wanted to try this place out. I ordered the cheese and fruit plate which was $15... for 3 pieces of minature cheese with 3 crackers and some grapes... hmm... quite different from the other location which gives you a lot more for your money.

For my main I ordered the turkey burger. I found it to be very dry and flavorless. There was no mayo or ketchup on it whatsoever. I'm not really impressed by this location. Additionally, I'm pretty sure I saw the manager or owner walking around the restaurant/bar area wearing sweat pants and a old ragged t-shirt... I don't mean to judge but I thought if you're management you should probably be better dressed and more professional. The wait staff was okay, I felt tossed to the side maybe because we were just trying to get our dinner and get out to our movie.

Overall, I don't think I'll be coming back here. I would prefer to go to the pasadena location.
