Loved this restaurant!
The historical, Hollywood style with a wooden deck patio nestled between 4 high rise buildings really made the experience for us.
This is also the perfect place to eat some good tapas-style food right before a show at the Pantages (we saw Sister Act The Musical that night.. fabulous!).
Definitely order the meat and cheese plate (the chef's choice is cheaper, and pretty darn good). The baked gnocchi was phenomenal. The chef's choice platter paired with the Atrea Skid Rosé just hit the spot.
Quick parking tip: Park in the huge lot just east of the W Hollywood - it's only $10 for the entire night in comparison to lots with higher rates nearby (and the restaurant valet!). The valet man at the restaurant gave us this little tip!
My wife and I were in town for a Hollywood Bowl concert and having read a review of this restaurant/bar in the NY Times we thought we would check it out and have a drink on their quite nice patio. We were given a menu and that's it. The wait staff all avoided us and after 10 - 15 minutes we gave up and left. I swear we used deodorant that morning. Â I suppose we could have gotten up and found a wait person and try to coax them over to take our order for their $11/glass of wine but it seemed too much trouble. They were not very busy.
