Best place to hold your 30th Birthday Party if you're doing a 1920s theme. I read all the great reviews about this place and held my party here! I didn't want to hold it at the Edison, since I had such a terrible experience there. At Next Door Lounge, I had such an amazing time! You can reserve a table for a big group of your friends for FREE! No hassle or cover to get in. All you need is the secret password. There's plenty of chairs to sit and the place isn't big, but it's comfy. The music is a mix of chill music you can dance to, but don't expect top 40 clubbing music.
Review Source:If I wasnt invited here by a friend for his birthday I would never have know this place existed. There arent any bright signs outside advertising its name. Just a man in a top hat and tuxedo outside with a security guard. He asks for your "password" and you go in. Cute speakeasy gimmick. We were seated in our own corner of the bar with comfortable couches with cute decor. The couches were a little too comfy. Had to keep an eye on the friends that were notorious to falling asleep after they drank. There was a huge flat screen playing a old black and white movie. The lighting was dim. Perfect for mischief.
The drinks were subpar. Unless you asked them to make you a specific drink all of them are super citrusy.
Food was great. Pasta balls, pizzas, fish and chips, tostadas, and etc. everything we got was excellent.
Loved the vibe, drinks were ok, food was great. *thumbs up*
