Afghan Grill Kabob

NOW CLOSED!  New Place is not much better, service was good but food was Eh...

Wow...I guess I should've been more trusting of others reviews...I LOVE Afghani and Middle Eastern food, and after getting gift certificates from <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaurant.com&s=0aab4cbd731f3d3b0d1453050d3abc56a8c80bd214e25469c7555b750dca8a51" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaurant.com</a> I decided to give this place a try. My best friend warned me that the average rating on Yelp is only 3 stars.... I have to say, that's over rated, I can't give them more then 1...and that's just for decorating the place.  We went there on a Friday, not only we were the only people there, but half of the appetizers on the menu were not available, I ordered a lamb kabob.  Before this I have never tried rubber pieces covered in hard charcoal...

The restaurant is nice and all, but every time I walk by it's empty.  The waitress was cute and accomodating, but my food took around an hour to come out and I was only with 1 other person.  The eggplant and pumpkin dish I ordered was really tasty, and so was the Mahi Mahi, but the time I had to wait for the food made me knock off a star :P  Also more expensive than most of the other places nearby.
