Frances G and I meet up at Amerigo to talk shop and eat sandwiches and it was great. Lunch sandwiches are all $7.50, a great deal methinks, and here's why...
The sandos are sizeable. They come with homemade chips. They have lots of love and care in them (and in their ingredients.) Even house mayo, folks! They are served in a cute environment by friendly folks. And they come out fast.
There is also a noodle soup you can order in a cup (it's in an actual coffee cup by the way) or bowl (or just get a half sandwich with a cup of the stuff.) And a nice beverage selection including beer, wine, and blood orange San Pellegrino.
The dinner menu looked equally enticing and I plan on heading back to check it out sometime soon!
What a great find! Â The homemade ricotta and mozzarella are amazing. Â We felt so at home. Â The wait staff were attentive without being annoying. Â Loved the house chianti. Â Tres chocolate dessert was small but perfect for 2 as it is rich! Â Parked right in front on the street. Â Will definitely go again!
Review Source:LOVED IT! I had the gnocci and donut sundae while my friend had the tortellini and bread pudding. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent! Our glasses were always full of water. I do recommend reservations since the place isn't that large. It is a cute place for sure. Also make note that it is closed on Sundays and Mondays. I can't wait to go back!
