AOC is becoming one of my favorite places. The patio is so beautiful and doesnt feel like you are in L.A. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed each dish that came before ordering the next. The server was helpful and best of all the place as busy as it was did not have attitude. Bacon wrapped dates as a starter, Spanish friend chicken, Halibut, Fried (lightly) caliuflower. Everything was just wonderful. Cant wait to go back and try the other things.

We were with a large group and the execution could have been better. The food was great. Little hiccuos like serving small portions that are not quite "family style" appropriate and then an inability to distribute checks in a timely fashion detracted from the experience.

My overall experience at AOC was excellent. Food was delicious and full of flavors. The vegetable dishes were quite amazing; they were very well prepared, just as interesting as any other meat dishes. I absolutely loved way they designed restaurant sitting area. We sat in the patio area. It felt very comfortable, like at someone else's house. It was kind of a short visit, I'd most definitely like to go back and visit again, try more dishes. Not quite a 5 star because it's really a bit too pricey.

We made reservations this past Saturday for 6:30 and came here just in time. There's only valet service which will run you 7$. We were seated right away. After reading the reviews on yelp and going through a few pictures we ordered the bacon wrapped dates, soft shell crab, Spanish fried chicken, liver toast and this flat bread with pieces of bacon and fried egg on top, I don't remember the name but it was on the top of the menu.

I'm not a fan of dates but after all of the reviews we had to try... BOMB!! I would order this again. The soft shell crab was great and came in once piece. The Spanish fried chicken was oily but good to try once. It came was an orange sauce which I liked very much. The liver toast was a hit!! I would come back for this again. I'm just a fan of liver spread on toast that's all. The flat bread, bacon and egg was okay. A bit bland and not to my liking. The portions are not big unless your ordering the platters. Great outdoor area and the bar there is limited but they do have liquor. Good luck.

I had been to AOC over ten years ago when it was in the old location with a large group, and my only recollection was that I really enjoyed everything I tried. I was sorry to hear they took over the spot formerly known as Il Covo (which was an excellent spot for brunch), but it has the added benefit of being walking distance from my cousin's place. My cousin is a much more cultured and experienced diner than I, so I took a back seat to the ordering process. We got about 18 dishes for a party of seven crammed into a booth for five, and everything was consistently good. However, less than a week later I can't remember more than a couple of dishes (the fried chicken was one, another was the cauliflower). Nothing we ordered stood out or prompted the "OMG you have to try this!" response. Even the caramel pot dessert (one of my wife's favorites) was a bit underwhelming.

Service is top notch. The din of the crowd can impinge on conversations, so come ready to use your theater voice.

What I remember most about this place isn't actually the food (although that was lovely) but the incredible ambiance. The courtyard is soft and romantic and the lighting and trees add a beautiful touch to your evening.

When we arrived we were seated promptly and service was great - no hard sell, courteous and attentive. We shared a number of small plates including the speck, the bacon wrapped dates, and the salt cod. Everything was good, particularly the dates just bursting with flavor in your mouth. I also had a glass of white wine which was decent but not spectacular. It was a little flat and dry, but overall it did the job. The food, while definitely tasty and fun to eat (I love tapas style!) wasn't what stuck out in my memory the next day. I was thinking about those trees and the little tables and how pretty it all was.

This place feels special. It has that sumthin-sumthin... definitely take someone there if you want them to feel special too!

So, yes, i am a fan. I must admit, it was a really pleasant experience overall. The only downside of my experience here was the price. Though the food was good, I am not sure if it was worth the money.

We ordered what other yelpers suggested - the squid rice, a flatbread (read the menu - they all sound amazing), half chicken (roasted), and bacon wrapped dates. A bottle of cab.

With the exception of the chicken, everything was small. the chicken was not that big since it was half not full, but it was the biggest plate (considering it is an entree) on the table. The squid rice is amazing - layers of flavor and it come in a cast iron skillet (small - i emphasize SMALL) and is slightly burnt on the bottom which makes it a little crunchy when get to it. This dish was the best one by far. I forget which flatbread we ordered but it was good with caramelized onions and cheese (goat?). chicken was juicy and tender but i did not like green olives on which the chicken sat. I am not a fan of olives, so it's a personal preference - the dish was flavorful. Couldnt' complain.

We had four ladies in our party and we were satisfied (not full). It is a great place to hang out, catch up with friends, and hold small private parties - but if you are looking for a full meal, this is not your place. It's rustic and quaint.

The server was amazing - she was very helpful in choosing the wine and the food.

Would i come back? If i want to hangout with my girl friends on a quiet night over wine? yes.

Ambiance: Well-decorated wine bar, comfortable tables and seats. Nice outside seating area. Come before 6pm or make reservations ahead of time. It's quite spacious inside, but very popular during weekend nights. $6 valet parking.

Service:
Our waiter was very patient and helpful, and provided useful recommendations.

Food & Drink:
bread & butter - * bread was cold, not recommend
clams, sherry, garlic & toast - *** clams were tasted but bread and soup were too oily
arroz negro, squid & saffron aïoli - ***** sour and so rich in flavor, highly recommend
brioche, prosciutto, gruyère & egg - **** flavorful and perfect combination of meat, egg, veggie and bread, recommend
soft shell crab, green romesco & cherry tomato - *** vrey fresh and crispy, yet very oily
chardonnay - *** light taste

Price:
By average 2~3 small plates per person would be good to share, slightly over-priced since the portion is literally small. It costed $45 for each.

The food is here is nothing to write home about, but it's not bad either. I wish some of the plates were bigger, and some others, smaller. The problem with small plates is that you never really know how small or big it is until its on your table! Service was helpful and quick.

If you're looking for a beautiful summer evening to spend with good friends, drink wine, and have some small bites of rustic food, this is the place. The patio is one of the most gorgeous places to eat outdoors in LA!

Wow this place has really gone down hill...or was it ever really that good?

Pretty much everything but a couple of tasty salads were really bland.

Curry Cauliflower - the curry overpowers the veggie and so all you taste is curry powder and oil

Squash Nicoise - basically tasted like steamed veggies and butter. this dish looked like it was made by a housewife in Peoria

Foccacia - wrong
1. it ain't foccacia but actually just a kind of pizza
2. It's really lousy pizza

Tuna Meatballs in Tomato sauce - double wrong, Tuna and tomato sauce?? I would never order but someone at the table wanted it. Meatballs were flavorless but the tomato sauce was fair.

Scallops and Risotto - the scallops were...um...scallops just so so. on the other hand the risotto was Louise's Trattoria quality...meaning it sucked.

Fab Fab Fab!

I have been meaning to write a review on my recent brunch experience here and I cannot WAIT to go back!

So a new friend of mine called early Sunday morning and asked if I would like to have brunch at AOC, I was already familiar with the name due to all of the positive reviews. So I jumped at the chance.

If you don't valet the parking is a nightmare, I circled the block for 20 minutes. Next time I will valet for sure.

I walked inside and met my friend who had a table in the outside gorgeous patio area, the day was warm and beautiful and the staff was amazing, very attentive and when the sun became too warm they moved us under an umbrella table.

The restaurant filled quickly but the staff did not miss a beat, I had scrambled eggs, bacon, champagne, blueberry toast and a dessert the waiter offered but I cannot remember the name DELISH DELISH DELISH I will for sure go back soon.

I came here with my family for Father's Day brunch, which I'd made an Opentable reservation for the week before. We arrived around 11:30am, and there were plenty of seats available (at least in the indoor part of the restaurant, where we sat).

I ordered the focaccia with ricotta, green garlic, roasted artichoke, and mint. It came as a flatbread with everything else on top. I really liked the crispiness of the flatbread, but I wasn't a huge fan of the artichokes. Overall, it was filling, but probably not something I'd order again.

My brother's meyer lemon french toast, on the other hand, was delicious. The toast doesn't look like your average triangular french toast - it's more like two giant toasted pieces of bread (I'm not sure what the type of bread is exactly, but it resembles a baguette slice), with blueberries, candied lemon pieces, and pistachios heaped on top. If I were to come back to AOC for brunch again (unfortunately unlikely, since I was only in LA for vacation), I'd get the french toast for sure.

My dad also really liked his AOC burger. The service was overall good too.

I think AOC could be my perfect restaurant. The courtyard here is relaxing and everything you could want in outdoor seating at a beautiful Italian restaurant. There are bubbling fountains. A variety of seating options, out in the open under the stars and tucked into alcoves. There are herbs galore decorating the second floor balcony. The AOC atmosphere puts you at complete ease to enjoy your meal.

To top that off the service and the food are excellent. Any time there's a dish with morels and asparagus (such lovely spring ingredients) I am compelled to order it. The dish did not disappoint and I only wish there had been more pasta to mop up the extra sauce left on the plate (yes it was that good!) Bring a friend who doesn't mind sharing because AOC is all about the small plates Italian.

My only complaint? After a salad, the farro side dish and the pasta split with a friend I couldn't manage to eat dessert; be sure to save room.

Went back again and had another great experience!

Try the "Green Goddess" cocktail and the butterscotch dessert...they were both killer!

I really liked this place. It's really cute, I recommend sitting outside. We tried the vintner's plate, farro & black rice, arugula salad and brioche with prosciutto. Everything was delicious. The salad was probably my least favorite but it was still good. The brioche was my favorite part and the farro is probably the best prepared farro I've ever had. This would be a cute date spot or also really good for a small casual party.

AOC is a first rate establishment.
I dined there for the first time last night- the ingredients, the presentation, service, wine list and menu were superb.
Very happy indeed.

As recommended by the LA Times we tried pappardelle with asparagus and chanterelles, braised leek focaccia, clams and sherry and green garlic, curried cauliflower & roasted chicken "ode to Zuni" it was delicious & complex layers of flavor. There's a full bar which we took advantage of. The drinks are nice & stiff just to make you take another sip. We did valet because we didn't want to deal with finding street parking. Expect charcuterie, $8-$12, the salads $9-$10, wood-oven dishes $14-$15, vegetables $9-$12, small plates $13-$17, plates you can share $19-$44 if you choose from several of the categories & can share that's the best way to go with AOC

I've been wanting to come here since I've heard great reviews. Came here for lunch and the service was not great. It was late lunch around 1330 not very many people but still took 15 minutes to be acknowledged
Server couldn't really explain what the market fish was similar to and when we ordered 3 cheeses was not able to identify them.
Would have loved to try the apple tart but our server never really checked on us and by the time she did was told it would take 20 minutes to cook.

I came here the other night with a girlfriend for a glass of wine at the bar. The bartenders are SUPER nice and attentive. Plus, they gave some great recommendations. Christian will take care of you, so find him if you can.

We ordered the meat & cheese dish. It was perfect for sharing & delicious!! There were beats, cured meats, cheeses, pickles, carrots & more.

Looking forward to coming back for dinner on the outside patio!

This location is awesome. Since Orso it has changed hands twice and this location, no matter the owner, serves good food. They have a beautiful patio and a nice decor on the interior. I ate at the previous location and the food seems to be consistent and good. You will not be let down. There is a valet and also street parking.

If you are looking for a place to meet for drinks as well this place is cool.

This place was pretty classy. We sat outside in a courtyard that had some small trees in it and the wait staff was very helpful with suggestions and commentary on the dishes.

People rave about the bacon wrapped dates - completely justified. They're delicious and you should definitely order them. The salt cod was pretty good as well. Very rich but maybe a bit too salty for my taste. One thing that is a definite skip is the pork cheeks. I love pork but there is nothing recommend this dish and it came off as rather bland to me.

Great trendy yet intimate layout as many have mentioned. Half of the restaurant is outside and the other half is inside which gives it a nice relaxing feel as well.

My favorite dish was the the Farmer's Plate which consisted of carrot puree, roasted baby carrots, grilled asparagus, favas, snap peas, fennel wedges, marinated artichokes, pea shoots, radishes and some type of cheese. Everything was indeed fresh and flavorful and more importantly not too salty. The variety was perfect. Definitely a great way to start the meal.

The clams with sherry, green garlic & toast was plentiful but not really anything out of the ordinary. So, if you care more about quantity over quality, this is your dish.

The pork cheeks, polenta, mustard oil & gremolata was very tender and the polenta balanced out the strong flavor of the pork cheeks well. The hanger steak with roquefort butter & shallot rings on the other hand was on the tougher side but not overcooked.

Overall, a pleasant experience, but I guess with all the hype, I expected a more mind-blowing experience.

I want to give AOC five stars, I really do. The decor is amazing - you're in an ersatz European courtyard; there are vines growing lazily up the walls; the lighting is fantastic; there is a vaguely inviting second floor balcony; the music is just trendy enough and at the right volume; the tables are cute, the entire layout is inviting. . .it's just that the food isn't that good.

The night was amazing overall despite the food's shortcomings and I would immediately vault AOC near the top of a short list of 'top date/romantic/intimate' restaurants of Los Angeles. The service was great, the prices are reasonable, the drinks were insanely good (especially fire & smoke, wow). . .

But the food. We ordered four small plates:
pea pancakes, dungeness crab & meyer lemon - sounded like a great idea but the seasoning just wasn't there. Neither the pancakes nor the crab stood out; maybe some salt?
pappardelle, asparagus, porcini, nettles & parmesan - this was indeed delicious.
brioche, prosciutto, gruyère & egg - I don't recall ever saying this at any modern restaurant but the portion was TOO big. There was frisée on top of frisée. The brioche was the size of an entire meal. And the egg 'on top' was just too easy. Was it good? Sure, but it was just TOO much.
Veal, polenta, mustard oil & gremolata - I notice the online menu says 'pork cheeks,' but on this night it was veal, a "special" as recommended by our server. Was actually chewy and a disappointing way to end the meal.

Again, not a bad meal just not five stars-worthy. Otherwise a great night, and a great restaurant.

We decided to go out for dinner at the spur of the moment, so we called AOC, and they cold squeeze us in, but we needed to be out by 8. No problem.

All I can say is yum. I'm getting kind of tired of the small plate phenomenon. I lived in Spain for a while, where this whole thing started, and for some reason, it's so much better in Spain -- maybe because I'm in Spain. Nevertheless, that was the concept. It was very, very good. We didn't have a bad dish.

I want to go back soon!!

I really love their (not so) new location! I'm a huge fan of Lucques and always have an amazing experience there. So was excited to try this place in the new vamped up venue. The outside certainly is reminiscent of Lucques. We sat wood shared table at the bar and I loved the atmosphere on this busy early Saturday eve. It was pumping!

I find it hard to decide what stars to give it, the food was certainly good, certainly tasty, but nothing totally blew my mind. We tried a variety of items:
I loved the bacon wrapped dates,
the kale salad
marinated olives
cheese plate
salami & meat sampler

but the hanger steak was only average and super chewy, we had to politely spit some out in our napkins. The curry cauliflower was only so so, I do like curry, but it kind of dry. My verdict; either make it super curry saucey or minus the curry all together and go with another flavor.

My conclusion for bar atmosphere, decor, design, small tasty bites & drinks - its yummy! They make good drinks for sure. So rating it with that in mind I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Minus the 1 star for slow service & not so great hanger steak & cauliflower.

If I rated it for dinner I would've given 3 stars. But for bar dinner & drinks with fun folks and interesting LA people watching it gets a 4 for sure.

Finally made it the new location, and frankly I'm torn. Ever since Suzanne Goin, gave my palate one heck of a wakening and education via Lucques years ago, I've been somewhat of a regular of her restaurant empire and considered AOC the benchmark of small plates restaurants.

For a restaurant I could walk through with my eyes closed, and order without a menu - the new location, and staff is a considerable shift. I came here for a birthday celebration so we had a big group, we ordered some of the menu items I would consider AOC staples/ signatures: Bacon wrapped dates, squid rice, hanger steak, chicken liver, brioche. 5 Stars on the first three menu items, 3 on the chicken liver and brioche. I arrived after some of the guests so I will assume, they still serve the tapenade, though I didn't see it on the table when I arrived.
We also ordered a few more menu items; Pappardelle - which will be a new addition to my AOC staples. The suckling pig, fried chicken, pork cheeks, the cauliflower, the fingerlings and the dessert sampler.

Though I love new dining experiences, I am still a creature of habit. I've never dined at AOC with a group larger than 4, this time we were 10 and I've always viewed AOC as one of those intimate spots, though my company was wonderful, I would not recommend this place for big groups, as I view it as best enjoyed as an intimate dining spot. With regard to new AOC space, I've always liked this location when it was Il covo, and Orso- it is a great spot, but I felt like I was trapped between the personality of Il Covo and AOC, I think it had something to do with AOC getting rid of the white linen service and that bull head that they kept and moved to the second floor.
http://www.yelp.com/biz_…
I've hated that piece of décor at Il Covo and because of where we were seated, I had to stare at dinner at the new AOC.

I wish this place the best of luck in its new location, as the service and ambiance has gone from great to good, the acoustics and noise level has gone from ok to something needs to be fixed. New is not always better, I like this place but I don't love it anymore ... I'm sure AOC will grow into her big girl shoes, in the meantime there is always Lucques, Tavern and The larder at Tavern .

I really do love the new AOC. Went here for my bday dinner and was seated upstairs. The space is open and spacious with dark rustic wood. Great intimate setting with wine lining the cabinets around us.

Bacon wrapped dates - Great dates that were perfectly portioned. The bacon was extremely crispy and went well with the sweetness of the dates and the creaminess of the cheese.

speck, apples, apple balsamic & arugula - a classic charcuterie dish that I'll never get enough of. Great acidity from the apples and balsamic which worked as a counterpoint to the salty speck merging with the lightness from the arugula.

pork cheeks, polenta, mustard oil & gremolata - pork cheeks were tender with the polenta serving nicely to round out the dish. However I felt more texture and flavor was needed to elevate this dish from good to great.

brioche, prosciutto, gruyère & egg - It's pretty hard to go too astray with these ingredients. We're talking classic flavors, with the prosciutto, egg, and cheese all coming together for a hearty, salty, satisfying mélange, only partially moderated by the light frisée and toasty bread.

spanish fried chicken, romesco aïoli & chili-cumin butter - I have a hard time not ordering fried chicken when it's on the menu and this dish was no exception. It came out juicy and moisy although no better or worse than any other glorified chicken tender.

pappardelle, kabocha, chanterelles, rapini & parmesan - a great pasta dish that was able to retain a balanced and rich taste. The pasta was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of salt that was balanced by the bitter rapini.

arroz negro, squid & saffron aïoli - Rice arrived black as night, a touch below al dente, with a heady, ocean-y relish that amplified the soft, supple pieces of squid strewn within.

suckling pig confit, coconut rice, lemongrass sambal,
peanuts & bok choy - one of my favorite dishes of the night I found the suckling pig to be extremely well seasoned and loved the interplay between the salty pig, light bok choy and sweet rice. An aromatic dish that was a treat to all the senses from sight to smell to taste.

New is always better!

I love, love, love the new AOC!

The space is bigger and more outdoor Tuscany feel than the older space they've been on at for years. This place is located closer to Robertson and 3rd Street now. I came here for a post bachelorette brunch and it served as a perfect location to ease us out of a fun filled weekend.

The sunlight that beams into shower the outdoor patio area is delightful to see and take in.

The food is as good as the cool collected feel that this place exudes.

We ordered to share these yummies:

-Bacon wrapped dates (An All-Time Favorite!)

-Blueberry bread (Crispy and good)

-Pistachio & Blueberry French Toast (My *new* All-Time Favorite! This yummy dish had the perfect balance of sweet tender almost custard filled middle that sent me straight to heaven for every bite!

-Chicken & Waffles (Freaking AMAzing!)

-Young Escarole Salad with fennel, anchovy, parmesan, & I added chicken.
(Soooooooo freaking YUMMY!)

To top it off, their Asian Bloody Mary was a fire cracker!

All around phenomenal experience!

Really enjoyed the new AOC!

The space is beautiful. Another great patio for eating on warm nights! For some reason there are not enough beautiful outdoors spaces for dining in LA.

We shared the Farmers plate to start: hummus, grilled bread, muhammara, burrata and grilled veggies. I really liked this but I would have preferred it if the veggies were warm, rather than cold.

Then we shared the pork confit with coconut rice, peanuts and bok choy. We devoured this!

Can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Definitely make a reservation!

AOC at the new and bigger location is a good thing. Plus its walking distance from where I live. But I do miss that cheese bar in the back of the old place.

The food and charm of AOC is still there. The dishes are a Cal-mediterranean combination with a light touch. I still love their frisee salad on brioche!!!!

Overall a great place for drinks and food.

Shatter every window 'til it's all blown away,
Every brick, every board, every slamming door blown away
'Til there's nothing left standing, nothing left of yesterday
Every tear-soaked whiskey memory blown away at...AOC! - Carrie Underwood (blown away)

I was quite impressed by this place's layout right away as I walked in. Beyond the bar area next to the entrance, there's a lounge-like dining area which was nice but there was also an outside dining area where we sat with heated lamps that felt really comfortable. In fact, I didn't even know there wasn't a roof on top of us until after we ordered our food haha oh I just get caught up sometimes with other things.

Food:
- farmer's plate: pretty much what it sounds like and what you would imagine "farmers" eating for dinner: lots of vegetables, a nice firm cheese, and bread /// i really enjoyed this and couldn't have been a better start to the meal
- clams: tasted fresh and clean /// wished it came with more clams so good!
- broccoli: i really enjoy broccoli on its own when its cooked and this one was cooked much to my liking
-pork cheeks and hangar steak: one was braised and soft and the other was on the tougher side but a good contrast to each other

I am very pleased with my decision to dine here: you're welcome!

LOVED their hanger steak.

I don't care for pasta - actually, I'm a pasta hater... but the Pappardelle was oh my god amazing! Get this dish. You won't be disappointed.

Arroz Negro sounded delish but ended up being not so bueno. Rice was on the dry side.

Half the items on the farmer's plate were acceptable. The vegetables, not so much.

For dessert you should definitely try their Blood orange vacherin with kumquat ice cream, blood oranges, and pistachios. Amazing textures & flavors.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the ambiance was nice, waitress was attentive, wine was good, and a few dishes (not all) were AMAZING. That's enough to keep me happy wanting to come back for more. :)

Went there on a Tuesday with reservations set for 8PM. Was greeted by the hostess who told us that our table was not ready and showed us to the bar. We ordered a glass of broadside, margarita vineyard, paso robles which was delicious and waited....and waited and waited. Around 8:30 I was starting to get upset. I was about to leave when we finally got sat...it was 8:45. I was not happy. I ordered the young broccoli, arroz negro, squid & saffron aïoli, pappardelle, kabocha, chanterelles, rapini & parmesan and prosciutto di parma. It was ok, nothing to write home about. The server was awesome and tried his hardest to make the best out of the situation. He ended the night by suggesting a sorbet cake. That was the best thing I had. They took care of the wine and the dessert which was very nice.

All in all the food was not great. The Prosciutto di parma and dessert was the best thing i had. The rest of the food was bland and forgettable. At the end of the meal I had forgotten about the wait but the food didn't make me feel better. There is much better out there...

So chic! So delicious! So LA!
Put your skinny jeans on but wear a loose fitted top, cuz you are gonna wanna gorge once you smell the bacon wrapped dates sizzling.
My group of 5 awesome friends was seated in the best round booth overlooking the restaurant. They suggest 3 items each, but we got away with 8 plates total and all were satisfied. Their wine list is super solid... our Santa Ynez red was perfect with the food. We truly loved almost everything... highlights were the dates, brussel sprouts, Fish, gruyere toast, and farmers plate. The salads were wimpy and too expensive for how little lettuce there actually was. But, ordering a salad at a place like this was mistake #1.
The butterscotch dessert is just.... heaven.
We will be back!

I had some BF drama(now EX BF) so I needed a night out with my BGF. I chose AOC b/c I had been wanting to try it for a few years. WOW!

It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night, but the service was great. We had 2 glasses of wine, a salad, a egg open face sandwich thing, and the spanish fried chicken. OMG! So amazing. Everything was recommended by our waiter and it was all phenomenal.

We ended it with the chocolate torta. I almost passed out from the tongue-gasm I had.

Love this place.

SHYYYYYYYYTTTTT!! NEW AOC I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH STILL!

Their new place is amazing, so much better than the old one - which I had no problems with either. But this one is adorable and perfect for brunch!

This was my first time to the new place and to try their brunch, surprise surprise just as amazing as dinner

Meyer lemon French toast - just get that. GET IT.

Also the grilled blueberry toast wit lemon butter? WTF. Get that too.

I had a bite of the cast iron baked eggs as well - probably what I'll get next time.

I LOVE YOU YOU'RE THE BEST PLACE IN LA

AOC's new location is absolutely gorgeous! Warm and welcoming inside seating and a transcending garden with trees and small little nooks with tables makes you feel like you came over for a wine party to a friend's house. The upstairs also has a nice private space and a few tables directly above the garden area facing the outside fireplace. A+ for the ambiance!

The wine selection is superb, as to be expected, and also fairly priced even for Beverly Hills. I do, however, recommend getting a bottle instead of a glass as some glasses do get as high as twenty-two dollars.

The menu is very ambitious and has great potential, but it seemed like everything we've ordered could use some work. A bit greasy at times, overcooked and under seasoned in others. It is set up tapas style, but with the new place, come new additions such as platter size potions. Of course, I recommend sharing everything. If you're unsure the well trained and helpful staff will gladly assist you with your selection.

The absolute highlight is the dessert. Prepared by the very talented, Christina Olufson. I recommend the Dessert Platter. This is the absolute best way to experience her creations and satisfy your sweet tooth. Try the crispy honeycombs draped in dark chocolate. To die for....

My husband and I had a great meal here a couple weeks ago. Our server, Kristin, was super nice and helpful in answering all my questions. At the end of the meal I wanted to be her friend. My husband was grateful that I didn't embarrass him by asking for her number...

The food is incredible. Here is what we tried, the starred items are favorites:

-Pecorino cheese
-Bacon wrapped dates*
-Arroz Negro (this is the only dish we didn't care for)
-Focaccia with broccoli and burrata*
-Brioche toast with prosciutto and fried egg*
-Hangar steak
-Curry cauliflower*
-Fingerling potatoes

Great restaurant.

The decor is super cool and I love the outdoor seating (don't worry, they have like a dozen outdoor heatlamps). The service is excellent. The food is solid...we started off with some blue cheese, which went really well with my glass of Cab. The Salad was delicious, and the yams were great too.

The dessert is the only thing I could have passed on...ordered the pot the creme. It was only okay.

Will definitely be back.
