We attended the Happy Together Tour 2013 show on Friday, July 5, here.  We called several times ahead of time and were told that the doors would open at 6pm, and because we had pit seats (VERY expensive), we would not have to wait in any lines to be seated.  This was highly important  as two in our party are handicapped and cannot stand for any length of time.
When we got inside, nothing was as we had been told.  We inquired, to no avail, and then I finally told as usher that we either needed to sit down or we must speak to someone in authority.  They finally let us in, and we were slowly making our way down to our seats, when a young girl who claimed she was a manager came running after us, telling us we couldn't be in there.  We kept trying to tell her what we had been told and she wouldn't hear of it. She was insistant that all of us were going to go alllll the way back up to the lobby again, and we all said NO.  I finally asked, "What do you think, we're gonna rush the stage?!" (we're all middle-aged and one was using a walker and the other was on crutches) She finally made the fatal error of saying that she always takes excellent care of her handicapped patrons--and my response was, "So, DO IT NOW".  At that point, she relented and we sat down.

A bit later, as others were being let in, she came and asked how we were doing and would we like a soft drink.  We took her up on that, and soon here she was with ice, cups, and bottled Cokes. I offered to pay her, but the reply was , "Oh, NO, this is courtesy of the theatre."  So, either someone had a talk with her, or she realized how foolish it all was...arguing with obviously handicapped middle-aged ladies.
As for the show--it could not have been BETTER. What a great evening!

I might attend something here again, but next time, we will get stuff ahead of time in writing.  ALSO--the carpeting along the sides of the theatre is nice, but down in the front rows, it is totally bubbled up and so easy to trip on.  Be careful.

Sick theatre. Look out for special screenings here.

One of the top old school venues in LA. Great bar! Bring your drinking shoes!

With a sharply raked floor, there appear to be no bad seats.  You feel like you're stepping into a classic movie theater and yet everything is well kept, updated, and modernized.  The silver and blue of the the proscenium are striking.  Seats and bathrooms are adequately sized and air conditioning flows like a modern building.  While not as grand as a theater like the Los Angeles downtown, the Saban is definitely on par with the Million Dollar Theater but far more comfortable.
