Great local venue, just started going recently. Saw rotten sound from Finland one night, and abigail from Japan, on another. The sound was great, and the venue is a great size, so I could always see & hear what wuz going on. My bar experience was excellent, I had a very friendly punk-tattooed girl wait on me, who was clearly into the music being played, always a plus. Looking forward to my next show @ the joint!

Went here last night for a Soca party. Got there at 10 and no one was there. It was supposed to be free for those of us playing in Hollywood carnival. The owner or manager was trying to charge us. After he finally called the promoter, he said it was OK to go in free. It didn't get going until around 11:30. It was a decent sized crowd not to busy. They need to turn on the air in there, its pretty hot! The drinks aren't priced to bad, 8 bucks for a very small Bacardi and diet coke. Bartender was nice and friendly, and kept checking back with us. Parking is on the street, but easy to find and free. It in a safe area, so no worries if coming alone.  Its a small place, but I had a good time.

I drive up from San Diego and visit 1-2 times a month, so you know this place has to be worth it! The bands are great, with special guests occasionally showing up to play on Friday-Saturday nights. The food and drinks are great and are very reasonably priced. I enjoy seeing Stephanie, Andy and Suzanne along with other staff members each time I go. Ondrea, the owner, is very nice and made me feel very welcome, as all of the staff did. If you want to have a good, casual time, hear good music and not be broke by the end of the night, this is the place to go!
