I've been here two times.  The Gyro was good, it's the only thing I've had here so can't comment on anything else food wise.

I won't go back for two reasons: cleanliness and lack of customer service.

The first time I went the place was dirty, even the front door was full of greasy hand prints, etc. it was gross.  The second time I went, a few weeks later, nothing had changed.  I don't think they own any windex.  This is a new establishment??  You'd never know it.

Also, each time I went in the same person behind the counter was so unfriendly, not even a smile, not once!  The first time I went in I asked what he would recommend and I got nothing but a stare.

Being this is a new business I would think you'd be fresh and happy and ready to make your business work.  This guy acts like he's been in the business for 40 years and is tired of the work and customers!

Not very good, I actually feel bad writing a negative review because the staff seem to be nice people and I do not like to bash a new business, but it seems they are not very good at what they do. Slow uncertain service and the Beef sandwich seasoning was was not very good. Gyros were not very good, the pizza place in the same strip has excellent gyros. The burgers were dry on the ends and bland.

I love this place. The food is actually pretty good in the prices are really low. In today's economy it's a great little hideout for students. Tuesdays are my favorite day. All you can eat hot dogs for 99 cents each. there beef is also really good

Negative stars on this one...how are you a beef stand and serve a horrific beef sandwich? My beef sandwich was not only cold but the bread was still frozen inside. I was embarassed for them. Not only was the sandwich bad, but the guy behind the counter (looking AND acting like John Popper) looked at me as if I was the problem when I told him about his crappy sandwich. With as bad as it was I gotta believe this is a front for something else because you really cannot be this bad even if you are trying. You wouldn't be able to pay me enough to go back!

Got two dogs with fries, and a tamale and fries. The dogs were okay, nothing special. Fresh cut fries are good. When the tamale was served, it was almost BLACK, AND REEKED. I don't even know how they'd manage to serve it like that and when I complained, they were very hesitant to fix it....but I insisted, they did, and the next one was 1000% percent better.

The employees don't look all the cleanest here....this place could have potential if they served better quality food and looked a little more professional.

I don't know if I'll be back. I know I won't go out of my way for this place.

tried the beef sandwich foun a long black hair from the cook on the side of my cup also the beef was of the typical frozen type, not tooo tastey. the fries are fresh cut  but I would call the just greasy. I was hoping for better, homade beef there is no substitute.

In driving down Butterfield Road recently I've noticed a sign for a place called Bada Beef saying "coming soon". While driving by today I noticed that the sign was changed and said "Now Open". So with haste I turned my vehicle around to give this establishment a try. The inside of Bada Beef is a fairly typical Chicago style greasy spoon restaurant. The menu features items such as the Italian Beef, Burgers, Gyros and Hot Dogs.

I decided to try the hot dog with fries here. The hot dog I received came on a poppy seed bun. The bun showed no signs of dryness, but did not appear to be have been steamed either. Having visited  and reviewed over seventy Hot Dog establishments prior to this it's not often that I see a place that does something "new" with a hot dog. Bada Beef managed to surprise me. Rather than using regular tomato slices like most Chicago-Style hot dogs, Bada Beef applies the tomato in a salsa like fashion with very small pieces of tomato. This was a nice touch and is fairly unique among places I've visited. The relish used on this hot dog was the neon green variety, while good it was piled on a bit excessively. The onions were diced nicely and well applied, the sport peppers used weren't too hot and were just the right piquance to properly compliment the dog. The pickle used was a spear that was a little on the thick side and not as long as the dog or bun itself. This leads to the problem of not being able to get pickle in every bite. I didn't detect any celery salt applied. The sausage used is a skinned type of sausage and is a bit different than a normal Vienna Beef skinned dog, it seemed thicker and to have a slightly different casing, it was a good tasting properly steamed dog.

The fries included were of the fresh cut variety. I'm typically not a big fan of fresh cut fries and they have seemingly become very trendy with suburban hot dog stands in recent years who have dumped crinkle cut, shoestring or other varieties of fries for the fresh cut. With that said, these were better than most fresh cut fries with a nice potato flavor, despite being a bit on the greasy and salty side.

Overall, Bada Beef made a pretty solid hot dog. The primary nitpicks I have with the dog were that the relish and salsa style tomato were applied  too heavily and that the pickle was a bit too short for the rest of the dog. Overall I'm giving this hot dog four stars out of five.
