Jersey Mike's Subs

Have been to this location twice and have never been disappointed.  Always greeted and treated very well and the sandwiches are outstanding.  Very fresh and tasty.  Love the "Mike's Way" which consists of red wine vinegar, oil, seasonings and salt and pepper.  Have had the Club Supreme and also the Italian.  Both have been piled high with fresh ingredients and made by someone who actually cared what the sandwich looked like.  The $5.99 mini sub/soup deal is a bargain and is offered at any time.  Add a drink for $1.00!   I highly recommend this location.  Have been to Glen Ellyn location once and was not as pleased.

We walked in, asked if the meat was processed or fresh.  Guys behind the counter didn't know the difference....Decided on a beef sandwich (fresh meat)...they guy who had been cleaning didn't even change gloves to make the sandwich...so his gloves weren't clean, the preparation counter had been cleaned according to them in the morning...it was now 2pm...we felt  the sandwich should have been made wearing clean gloves & put the bread on paper or something.  We won't be back...and 'the help' won't care.

I don't get the hype of this place. The bread was super hard to bite into, the turkey had virtually no flavor, and I pretty much got a head of lettuce on my sandwich served with a side of attitude.

The employee was actually on her laptop, so I am gathering I "bothered" her....she was VERY snotty when she actually had to get up and come to the counter. I can go to Firehouse across the street-get a better sub--for less, that tastes good, and with a friendly demeanor. This is the first and last for me.
