Bamboo Garden

Stopped in here last night for carry out and I was very unimpressed with the food quality. We ordered Orange tofu w/ brown rice and edamame which came with a free egg roll. The orange sauce was watery and almost flavorless and the tofu was undercooked as was the brown rice. The edamame wasn't the best either. I couldn't tell if it was  poor quality or just not cooked properly. The girl who took our order was super friendly and it should be noted that if this review was based solely on service it would be 5 stars.

One of those under the radar type of restaurants.
Doesn't open until after noon during the weekday?
I used to work in Lakeview and I thought that was weird.
The food was really nice.
My best friend and I had the appetizers and shared the Hot Shiang Yu Chicken with beef fried rice.
The portion sizes were bigger than normal places.
I loved our waiter.
She was bubbly and attentive even though there were only about 3 of us seated in a huge restaurant.
If I'm ever in the mood for chinese and a quiet atomsphere, I'm coming to the Bamboo Garden.

Read all of the previous reviews - totally not going by you guys and your opinions anymore - food was totally bland worst Chinese food ever - customer service and delivery person were great that is why they get two stars
