Mixed bag - they get one star simply for having bianca style pizza. Â
As for the pizza itself, it was average at best. Â The "Thin-crust" was quite thick - not a big deal to me, but my girlfriend is from NYC and is absolutely meticulous about how thin crust is "supposed" to be. Â Bellas was a little skimpy on the ingredients too - needed more basil. Â I liked the bruschetta, but again, the g/f objected because they put the bruschetta directly on the bread, which made it soggy. Â Can't please everyone, right?
Delivery was super slow, so my pizza arrived lukewarm at best. Â Not a great first impression, but I'd be willing to give them another shot. Â Appetizers in particular are very attractively priced, and the pizza is a pretty solid deal too. Â They threw in a free 2 liter soda, too, which was a nice unexpected bonus and soothed some of the dissatisfaction with the delivery.
If any Chicago pizza proprietors are reading this - PLEASE develop a great Bianca style pizza. Â Wafer-thin crust, ricotta cheese splotches, basil, fresh mozarella, olive oil base, etc. Â Include delivery to the South Loop. Â You will earn my business for life :).
We order from here alot for delivery and get the ongoing X-large special. Its like 13 bux and you get a 16 inch pizza w/ one topping and a 2 liter of pop. It ends up being around 17 bux with tax and delivery, good solid deal. I don't eat pork so we get Italian beef on the pizza and let me tell you this, if you like pizza and Italian beefs, then you need to try this.
I have been in there one time for a slice and it turned me onto the pan crust which was excellent.
Good spot, fast delivery, nice staff!
There are tons of pizza options in the area, but this is one of my favorites! They're open later than any of the other nearby pizza-by-the-slice places. They even have deep dish by the slice! The veggie pizza is really good in both the thin crust and deep dish variety. I also like the sausage. The fried zucchini sticks are AMAZING. (Okay, maybe it was just late at night and I was craving something fried....but I loved them!)
This is definitely a greasy pizza joint. The lady at the counter isn't going to  be your best friend and if the big guy from the back makes an appearance, you're sure to see a shouting match. I love it! There's a counter you can sit at, but I'd just grab a piece and go or get take-out. They also have a TON of pasta and other dishes on the menu, but I have tried it.
