A few months ago I heard how a lot of people were offended when this place supposedly had a misunderstanding with some cops and their no-gun policy.  What struck me was the manager's response.  Evidently the head manager was not present during the incident, but he later went to great lengths to try to apologize to the offended cops.  I like cops.  They keep the roads safe and help keep bad guys off the streets, and this guy evidently had a lot of respect for the public servants.  Plus a lot of the far right wing wackos were extremely angry so we figured that any place that gets those type of people angry has got to be worth another shot.  So we went again.

It was kind of weird because the last time we went was during the Billabong Pipemasters Pro surfing competition, and this time it was during the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach surfing competition (which my main man Adriano De Souza won and the lovely Carissa Moore won the women's side).  We went in the afternoon which was probably about 5 a.m. in Queensland so nobody was in the water at that time.  I'm sure they had the live footage of this prestigious event when it was underway.  Right?

Anyway, we ordered take out, and while we were waiting we talked with one of the dudes there, and he was pretty cool.  We're very dorky looking so cool dudes usually don't talk to us, but this guy was very nice.  Precious asked him to put a soccer match on one of the monitors.  I don't remember what match it was.  It all looks the same to me.

We got a variety of different wings.  I think I'm going to go with the Asian zing flavor because those were very good.  Maybe I'll try the mango habanero flavor and the jalapeno flavor next time too.

I had thought about maybe catching a world cup game at this place next year.  I usually like to watch a game while sitting on my couch with special sauce dripping down my chin, but I think it might be cool to catch a game at a sports bar like a real American.

This is the new Bdubs by the Harris Teeter off Liberia.  It has a nice patio and the inside is pretty massive with  A LOT of TV's inside.  We sat at the bar and I was excited because I haven't been to a Bdubs since the college days in Richmond.  We would frequent the restaurant every Tuesday for cheap beer and wings when we were all super poor.

The bartender was nice if a bit bland.  It kind of sounded like she was reading off a dialogue card the whole evening though.  They had $5 Dos Equis which is a favorite of mine so I was happy about that.

We got wings and a burger but it took about 30-40 minutes for them to come out which is too long in my book especially on a Wednesday night close to 9pm.  Finally though they came out after asking the bartender again.

I can't speak on the burger, but the wings were small and over-sauced and under-seasoned.  I got the sweet bbq sauce and the dry chipotle flavor.  The sweet bbq was drenched with sauce and the dry chipotle flavor tasted like plain chicken wings...disappointed.

Definitely wouldn't return for the food but their set-up is nice if you want to catch a game and some beers.  I'll stick with Bonchon, Beer and Chicken, or Popeyes for my fried chicken needs.

This is the worst BWW I have been too, no doubt. I have eaten here at least three times and I was just not happy. On the flip side, the service was good. The first time we went in we sat at the bar and the bartender was great. He had some recommendations and we rolled with it. I tried the triple play nachos as they were the special at the time and I have to say, terrible. Reason being, the wing sauce just tasted like salt paste and the pork tasted like it was soaked in a sugar bath. No actual flavor profile to this thing at all. Plain cornchips would have been better. My wife also tried some dip they had on special where you add a wind sauce to the cheese dip. She picked the parmessian garlic sauce and it was more sauce than it was cheese. Again, just plain salty. The only thing we had that we both enjoyed was the poppers. It is hard to screw them so I am happy they didn't.

I have eaten at a few different BWW, and one of my buddies said I was crazy because they are all the same. They use the same frozen food and the same sauce. This location just seems to be way saltier than the rest. I couldn't even eat the wings I ordered because they tasted like pure salt. I have had better wings at Hooters and lets face it, most of us don't go to Hooters for the food!

Food sucks, beer is expensive, and the waiters got attitudes.

My favorite B Dubs yet.  Brand new, huge TVs, cute waitresses.  As always, love the wings/sauce, but the new buffalo chips are soooo good. Make sure to try those, too.  Mozzarella sticks are also surprisingly good!

I'd like to preface this review just by saying I'm a Flyers fan, the wife is a Caps fan.

I have mostly bought take out here. When I work the night shift we get BWW almost every week. I've only actually been to sit down at the restaurant once. We sat down to watch a Caps game on a Tuesday night and it wasn't packed at all but pleasantly attended. They have 3 big screens in the bar area and 1 (or 2) in the dining area and lots of little TV's that are really hard to watch because they're so high up. It sucks because I know they'll never put a Flyers game up on the big screen unless they're playing Washington.
When we actually did sit down we saw 2 couples already sitting on the bench side facing the big screen on the far wall and it looked really comfortable so we did the same. It was pretty cool actually. The screen was a little farther than I would have liked but whatever.
Our server was friendly and took our orders reasonably quickly. The wife got a Blue Moon and I got a Sam Adams. I actually asked for a Sierra Nevada because I could have sworn BWW carried it, and she had no idea what Sierra Nevada was. I found this funny for some reason and I laughed out loud at her, which I immediately felt terrible about and I hope she's reading this review because I'm very sorry I laughed at you. But I digress...

Remember how I said I would get wings as take out? Its not usually the best. Since an entire team of ~10 guys are ordering at a time it can usually be a big order. Apparently they have a wonderful system worked out where they get it right 100% right ~80% of the time, which I honestly find impressive for such large orders at a time. However the quality is definitely lacking by the time it takes to arrive back at work. The sauce is dried out, the wings are room temp and the Buffalo Chips are soggy. So i definitely encourage patrons to eat in here.

I have the wonderful honor to say that I've had every sauce on the menu here and they're all pretty great. You really can't go wrong but they're are some I steer clear of. Favorites are Hot, Medium. Wild, Carribean Jerk, Mango Habanero, and the new Jammin Jalapeno. Dislikes are the Teriyaki and Asian Zing.

Such a long review for chain restaurant without many specifics about the specific place...hmm. I did notice that there were several tables that went unbussed for awhile but they were doing a really good job of keeping current customers happy. Seemed like they were spending too much time doing that and not enough bussing tables.

We love the wings and have been to many BWW locations in various states.  I do not like this one's setup.  The tables are too close and jammed up.  The servers do not offer all the specials upfront nor the up-charges for sauces, swapped items, etc.  Other than that, the food is the same...great wings!  I would choose Glory Days to watch sports instead.  This location has too many kids too loud groups all slammed in one place that you can't even hear the TV.  Bar is great though!

After visiting the BWW near my in-laws on Christmas Eve in search for a decent beer and being surprised by 24 tap selections and a couple of nice local microbrews, I decided to drop in to my local BWW after a shopping visit at the HT to see what they had hiding on tap. As it turns out, they were hiding quite a bit! I had only gotten take out from here, and I cut that out when going on a diet back in January, so it had been a while since I had stepped foot in here, and the first time I wandered back to the bar. Bartenders and managers, be warned and remember this face ... your strong microbrew selection, excellent happy hour prices, and desire to want to bring even more variety of these beers to your bar will have me coming back for more.

I was expecting something similar to the selection at the BWW's I was at just two days before in Bel-Air, MD ... but they had everything and then some. They had your typical NASCAR choices, plus Michelob Ultra and Michelob Amber. (No Natty Boh, but this ain't Baltimore kids!) Two ciders instead of one (Angry Orchard and Woodchuck) and the same imports selection - Guinness, Newcastle, Dos Equis, Heineken, and Stella - and the typical "large" craft brews - two Sam Adams, two Blue Moon, and Magic Hat. But they also had two selections from New Belgium (Fat Tire and 1554), two from Flying Dog (Underdog and Raging Bitch, YES YES YES!!!), two from Goose Island (IPA and 312 Urban Wheat) plus IPAs from Dogfish Head and Southern Tier, and Dominion Oak Barrel Stout.

They do make the common mistake of being too IPA heavy, and I would like to see them feature Virginia breweries more - such as Lost Rhino, Starr Hill, or Devil's Backbone. But at 30 taps in total, this is a strong selection for a BWW, and the bartender and manager were both knowledgeable about beer and indicated a desire to rotate different brews and work to get more Virginia beers in house. (DBB was discussed specifically ... bring Vienna Lager in house and you'll have MANY happy customers.) And with great happy hour prices  - $4 for a large Raging Bitch?!?! - well, you had me at hello!

After waiting 15 minutes to be asked what we would like to drink. We decided to move to another seating area. Only to have the wrong food brought out. Poor management and service

We had good service and the food came out quickly.  We went during a busy dinner time also.  But the taste of the food was extremely mediocre.  I ordered a buffalo chicken ranch sandwich, and it came out with a tiny bit of their mild sauce drizzled on top...but in the description, it made the sandwich seem like the chicken was going to come out bathed in the sauce.  (I love wing sauce btw, lol).  So that was disappointing, and there was maybe about a tiny squirt of ranch on there.  Most of it was lettuce and onions.  I asked for more mild sauce and was never brought any.  The food tasted like the cafeteria/deli at my workplace - sort of bland, very non-descript.  Hooters has better wings and chicken sandwiches than this!  It was also ice cold inside, very loud, and there were 3000 TV monitors of all sizes.  Since we came at a busy time, it was too loud for me to hear the conversation at my table.

Everyone said their food was "okay" or "pretty good I guess", but I don't think we'll be going back.  I'd rather go to Glory Days if I want a similar atmosphere.    $10  for my sandwich when it was really plain breaded chicken, a mountain of shredded lettuce, and bread.  Hmm...no thanks.

For this years NFL season they have made some upgrades and improvements.

They have added newiy trained staff.

If the weather is nice you can now sit outside in the front and listen to the game from
    the patio.

When you check in with the hostess, they will assign you a table based on what NFL game you want to see. There will be team logos hanging from the TV indicating the match-ups.

Get there early and go for the wide screen HD.

I don't understand how a lot of the managers in these places hire these people on. Like do they give a fake smile and act like they want to work there and then when they   get the position come in like they HATE their job? anyway i've been to this place twice. The second time only because my friends refused to travel a further distance to go to a sports bar for the ufc fight. We came for the fight and our server who TOOK 20 minutes to even come to our table came with an ATTITUDE. Us being good men and the fact we've worked as waiters before we tried to cheer her up. Asking how her day has been. smiling. and made the drink orders simple. She walked away with better spirits. Still i don't care how crappy you feel be time effective to a table and at least put on a smile. We moved from outside to an indoor table. The managers here are actually really nice and cool. One of my friends girlfriend damaged his license so the manager said he couldn't drink :(. The fact he felt bad he sent over free chips so that was cool :). A new server came since we switched sections and took our order. Paying little to no mind to come back and check on our table. After 30 MINUTES she comes back and asks if i need a refill. Then takes 30 MORE MINUTES just to bring it. Unacceptable. Our food? wasn't even hot. and honestly not even that good. The fries are like public school food the only thing that was actually good really was the burger and it wasn't hot. Service was crap.  The only highlight was silva knocking out sonnen and the manager being so cool. My friends want to go back for the redskins season opener. I'll pay the extra gas for another bar just so i don't have to experience that again.

Horrible cafeteria food. Nice to see new businesses opening in Manassas but I'm not going back. First and last visit to a BWW for me.

Went here on a Wednesday night around 11:30 and the place was dead, as expected, save for a couple of drunk people at the bar.  Sat down as a group of three people and ordered 24 wings with a basket of fries to split.  The food came out pretty quickly, but honestly was mediocre at best.  I feel like if the word wings is in the name of your restaurant, you should have pretty good wings.  At BWW, I think they put more emphasis on their variety of sauces rather than the actual chicken you're eating.  Bummer.

So we got our wings and fries and asked about a side of celery, to which the waitress (she didn't introduce herself and she didn't have a name tag) responded that we didn't get any because we opted for the ranch/bleu cheese sauces and those apparently count as sides?  She then explained that if you order 6 wings, you get two sides (celery and ranch would count as two).  I know if you're working at a restaurant you don't necessarily need the best math skills in the world, but you should at least know if you order 6 wings four times, you should get 2 sides four times as well.  That's a total of eight sides, not the six that we got.  Also, I think she could have at least explained that when we ordered, instead of dropping the ball on us after it was too late and trying to remedy it by upselling a veggie boat.

The waitress came back and asked if we were okay a good three or four times in fifteen minutes.  I took that as her trying to get us to leave an hour before they actually closed, so instead we all took our time eating and talking since she seemed like she wanted to be a passive-aggressive biatch about it.  Whatever, I'm still mad about the celery.

So if you like mediocre food, shoddy service, no refills on water, ranch and bleu cheese as a side dish, overcompensating with a ton of TVs showing sports from days ago, and really loud bad pop/techno/trashy dance music nearly hindering your ability to have a conversation with someone three feet away, check this place out.  Otherwise, you may want to bypass BWW and go somewhere like Glory Days.  At least their staff is friendly and the wings are good.

I was there on Thursday April 19, 2012...

Sucked is not strong enough for what happened to me. I was with a group of friends to watch the hockey game. The place was busy, but it looked like they were more than sufficiently staffed. Our waitress greeted us about 10 minutes after we sat down; we ordered our drinks and I told her that my girlfriend and I needed a separate check, she responded with a "no problem." Her name escapes me so I'll refer to her as The World's Most Not Awesome Waitress (TWMNAW) for short. We went long periods, 20 minutes or more without seeing TWMNAW. When we ordered our appetizers she said she'd be "right back" to take our dinner order. 25 minutes later a different server brought our cold appetizers out, 10 minutes after that she came back to take the dinner order for my girlfriend and myself. A half hour later our food was finally there, thank god hockey games are 2 and a half hours long. Everyone else had already eaten at this point; most of them had their entrees before our appetizers also.

I am of age and allowed to drink beer, after 3 though the manager on duty felt it necessary to come by the table and "see how everyone was doing", he continued that procedure for every beer after that. For the record, there were only 2 more, and I was not driving. I had a DD, as did everyone else who was drinking at the table. No one at the table was loud, belligerent, or obnoxious to other patrons. We cheered when the Caps scored, other than that we talked to each other. I understand Virginia's ABC laws, but I also don't think it's necessary for management to give customers a verbal field sobriety test just to get a Bud Light.

Then after all the bad service and pestering it came time to settle up. We were in a group and remember I had told TWMNAW when I ordered my first drink that my check was separate to which she responded with a "no problem." Everyone at our table said this to her when we sat down. I got my check which was expensive but fair and waited for TWMNAW to bring me back slip to sign. When she returned she informed me that she had swiped the tables total bill, AND my actual bill to my credit card. So aside from the $60 check I paid, they charged me an additional $220. The apology by her and manager was appreciated, but here I sit on April 23, 2012 and the money is still not in my account, it most likely won't be until at least Wednesday April 25, 2012 according to their manager I spoke to today. So not only was my experience pretty lame, but now I have to go a week without my hard earned money. Pretty sure I'll move to Columbia and become a drug lords cabana boy before I ever go there again.

This place was great when it opened. Since then I have seen a bigggggg decrease in the crowd. Unless its a Tuesday I see no reason to go. Any other night no one is there and the prices are high. They got to figure something out. I have been to other BDubs and it is packed all the time

I have eaten here twice. I found the food to be pretty good (although on our first visit my husband received some wings that were under cooked). My complaint is the service. On both trips the hostess seemed perplexed with where to seat us. Then it took more than five minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge that we were there.  It took another 5-10 min to receive our soft drinks. The restaurant wasn't packed on either occasion and there appeared to be enough waiters available, so I'm not sure why so slow. Today, our waitress was completely indifferent about everything.

I may order take out from the restaurant but I'm not sure I'll eat in very often.  It's too bad. I was hoping this could become one of our go-to places close to home.

Food was okay.  Had the Thai sauce on the wings and it was extremely salty, and I love salt so that has to tell you something.

    The fried pickles were amazing.

Our server, who's name I can't remember was one of the best I've seen at a chain restaurant.  She was so good in fact, that we made it a point to seek out the manager and let her know how happy we were.

I didn't drink that night, nor was I there to watch a game, so I can't review on that yet. So far, I think its a great quick place to grab a beer and wings!

The tv's are great in this place! The food is mediocre at best and the service is terrible. Do not go here if you are thirsty and pace yourself with your drink if you get spicy wings.

The servers do not ask if you would like another beverage and once you request one, it will be quite a while before you receive it.

The food is served in paper boxes which is fine but once you get your bill, you will realize that this place is quite expensive for the service and food that you receive. The beer is quite expensive there, one should stick to soda's and iced tea!

I'm honestly sure what exactly to say about this place.  This is actually the first time I stepped into a Buffalo Wild Wings and honestly it was quite depressing.  I was kind of forced to come here in due part because there isn't really much of a selection of places to go to in the Manassas area on late weekends.  They have speakers set up outside of the place so that I guess to give the impression that its so busy that you can hear it.  Well that's what we thought until we actually get to the front door.  Upon being seated inside, we noticed just how loud BWW had their speakers and TV's on.  Although the place was pretty much dead on a Saturday night, it was obvious management wanted to make the place seem lively by doing so.  I thought it was funny though.

Continuing on, after my friends order their food and drinks, we noticed that all the waitresses who were handling our food were also folding silverware into the napkins immediately after giving us our plates.  I'm no restaurant professional but I would think that you should probably wash your hands before handing new silverware and after serving your customers.  Did not leave a good impression.

Oh yeah, the appetizers we received were honestly not that good.

Avoid this place like the plague.

Edit:  If you read some of the reviews for this place, you can easily tell the employees are the people behind them.  Its quite obvious.

I'm a fan of BWW in general and hadn't gotten to try this location until tonight.  I was there for 5+ hours for the Caps game and UFC PPV, and my waitress was phenomenal.  The food was well done and the bartenders were better than the usual BWW standard (they actually mixed a 3 Wisemen correctly).  The layout is huge, the all new staff is excellent, and since it's walking distance for me, I'll likely be spending a ton of time there.

Kudos on a great start for this BWW location.
