Useless, mismanaged, awful.
Let it be said that, on the whole, Burger King burgers are much better than McDonalds. Their regular chicken sandwiches are awesome too, I used to get those as a treat during my college days when I subsisted primarily on ramen, pork and beans, 79 cent generic loaves of bread and cheap beer. But this location is really about as bad as it gets.
The place is a DUMP. If you go inside, it feels like you stepped back into 1987 Miami, but not in a good way. Not only has the dining area not been updated in 25 years, featuring pastel blues, plastic flowers and dated booths, but it's also run down and not especially clean. The kitchen area, clearly viewable from the counter, Â is a complete shambles. I don't know if the owner of this franchise is so cheap they won't renovate this desperately run down dive, or if they just don't care.
They advertise the fact that they're open late, but it's basically pointless to go through the drive thru anytime after 9pm. Even if there's nobody else there, you'll pull up, be told to wait, and then sit there for upwards of 15 minutes. Again, whoever owns and/or manages this place has like 2 people on duty and the kitchen is a shambles, so you will wait forever. You'd think the food would at least be fresh, but it's not, you'll probably get a lukewarm burger.
The only reason I would give this place any stars is because the service is typically pretty friendly. I feel bad for the people who have to work in this place.
So if Burger Point is closed and you have a late night snack attack, do yourself a favor and head over to the King Drive McDonalds. It is clean, modern, quick and the food is consistent.
I don't know where to begin with this. I mean, I know it's BK but come on!! BK is one of my fave fast food places. So after a movie downtown my wife felt like BK and this is the place we ended up because it was on the way home.
This place is a waste of life and a waste of space downtown. This location has been given this huge parking lot and lot that it does not deserve in any way.
SLOW! Let me spell it out...S...L...O...W = SLOW. I don't understand what the point of having a drive thru is when the people working inside do not want to work. I pulled in to the drive thru at 9:30pm and was told to hold. Mind you, at this moment, there is not a single car in front, behind, or parked in the lot anywhere. We are sitting in the car waiting on someone to ask us for our order so I say "hello?" and once again I'm told to wait. 9:40pm and she finally comes on to ask for my order. No joke and no exaggeration. We pull up at the window and paid (for which I wasn't given my change). Finally ended up leaving the window with the meal (which was for my wife only...so only 1 combo ordered) at around 9:50pm. 20 MINUTES!!! For a drive thru? When we were the only car ordering? You have got to be kidding.
I don't even want to give it a star but since we have to, I had to give it the 1 star. Save your time and gas...plus your patience. Go to another location or eat something else. Not worth your money!!
The following review takes place between 12:00 - 12:30 (voiceover delivered by Kiefer Sutherland)
Slowest Drive thru ever...over 15 minutes to order chicken nuggets for my hungry child. I would have went somewhere else but I needed nuggets.
Now we are waiting for a 4 piece chicken nugget. My wife said, "There is no progress...they take your order but the can't make your order!". I don't think she realized she just recycled a Seinfeld joke (rental car reservation episode).
The clock is still ticking and no nuggets yet. It has been 24 minutes now. Â If we leave this line, then we will have one upset child. Â What to do? Â They do realize it is lunchtime. Â Oh yeah not a single car is parked in the lot, so that can't be the issue. And the clock keeps ticking.
28 minutes and one car in front. Â My wife is ready to bail...I think my child is too.
30 minutes And we are finally handed outr bag!!!
On a good note... Laytana was very nice and apologized for the huge
Delay...some free fries might have made it feel sincere!!!
Since this location is near downtown I expected better service. I've visited this location on 3 separate occassions. The first time I ordered through drive thru and the didn't have all my food items in my bag but I didn't become aware of this until I was a block away from home. The second occassion. I walked in to have the cashier/order taker ignore me for 5 mins until she was ready to take my order. Not a smile, hello, thank you or what so ever. The third time I visited this location it was on my way to work. Exactly 5:16am, myself and several other cars decided to go through drive thru. No answer or response, I went to peek through the window and not a soul in sight. (I remind you that they are supposed to be up and running by 5:00am.) I just so happen to have called the restaurant later that evening to ask what time they actually open and the woman who answered the phone asked me, "Is this a prank call, are you serious?" I said, "YES!" She said we oen at 4am. I told her I was there around 5am that morning. She said I'm not here that early so I don't know what to tell you. Â
ARE YOU SERIOUS! WOW! Excellent Customer Service guys!
I can't rate this low enough. Consider my rating a negative eleventy billion stars.
This is the only quick place near my client datacenter. I'm sure there are other places, but we're usually running out for lunch in the middle of a very long day of work, and it needs to be fast. Unfortunately, it's never fast. Or correct. Ever.
Today, it took at least four people to ring out my coworker and I - apparently, a combo meal is really hard. I made the mistake of ordering cheesy tots (which are good) instead of fries. That was a mind bender. And my friend ordered tacos. Don't get me started.
So, after 15 minutes, we got our food. Then we had someone repairing stained and leaking ceiling tiles, probably showering me with asbestos and rat droppings.
So yeah. Burger King. Woo!
