The owner of this bar is a POS. Â He knows nothing about running a business. Â If everyone is busy & a customer walks in he won't get up from his computer, where he watches YouTube clips for 8 hours a day (not a lie), to help them. Â Instead he scowls that at them, as if he's pissed to see a customer because they're a hassle. Â Once they inevitably leave, he'll go up and chew out an employee, who he doesn't pay, for being busy and not serving them. This guy is the reason there have been 3 failed businesses in this location. Â With him "running" the place NOTHING will ever succeed, I guarantee it. Â Also, there are rats the size of small cats in the basement...I've seen them.
Review Source:yes i might be a lil biased because i am growing a thursday night event here. this place is a sleeper! my goal is to fill it with a mish mosh of people who are comfortable being themselves and  allowing the djs, poets, musicians, artists and dancers create good energy. we can make magic! show up bring friends and be boundless!
Review Source:I'm not sure what Chicago Bar was about before, but I had a birthday party there Friday, January 20, 2012. I worked through my friend, DJ World who works in conjunction with the club and I had a fantastic experience. The venue is understated but very spacious. It's easy to find and people have no trouble parking. Â All of my guests had no issues, we had good drinks and enjoyed the music.
Review Source:I had a party there last night, first thing, I've been there about four or five times, never ever have they made it that damn dark in there! Couldn't really see nothing. Secondly, I booked & paid for my party t the beginning of march. I spoke with the manager this week to make sure everything was cool & what we previously discussed, he told me they would decorate, they did not, he promised a bottle of champaign, they never brought it after asking two or three times, he said my people would get in free, but since he never told the promoters, so I had to come and damn near fight with the promoter cause he was charging my people, then he switched it to charging every other...the dj & the bartenders were on point though...
Review Source:Don't let the generic name fool you. It's nicer than one would expect. Proabably because it used to be Paris Cafe. I will admit that the new name is not congruent with the theme which I think they are still in search of one.
I haven't eaten here since the changeover. The drinks are decent. and they usually have different drink specials during the weekdays.
They have live jazz some nights so check it out..
