  I stopped in to get a taco and horchata while nursing a bad cold. Wow, I should have just gone to McDonald's or one of the other taquerias. The waitress wasn't friendly, actually kind of cold and rude. Yet, that never deters me from a taco. What does is watching the little woman behind the counter take trash out to the sidewalk trash can, then, without washing her hands, pick up a piece of meat off the grill, take a bite, and lay it back down on the grill. I'm not a whimp about sanitation, but this place crossed the line.
  
  I'll never go back, and don't suggest it for anyone else.

  You have to try their Huaraches.....unbelievably good!!! You can order with or without meat and with red or green salsa. My favorite has to be with the green salsa!! Their quesadillas are also very good, they are also hand made and fill you up pretty good.

  Hey they've cleaned the place up a little bit (not a lot, but enough).  Also of note, they added a large Quesedilla to the menu.  The tortilla is made fresh on the griddle (with a masa batter), same as the Huaraches, but folded over and filled with cheese and/or meat.  Delicious.

  The place didn't look like much, but I was tired and hungry and it's REALLY close to my apartment.
  
  This was a bad decision.  The staff is friendly, but the food ... uh ... welp.  It borders on edible, that's about all I can say for it.  The chicken tacos are just bland, flavorless, and unappetizing.  I don't think I'll go back to see how anything else is, sadly.

  there is a language barrier--a definite plus.  and awesome brightly colored booth seating.
  
  the waitress was really, really nice even though she wanted to give me an "italiano burrito" instead of a vegetarian one.  
  
  life is like ordering food from someone who doesn't understand you--you never know what you're gonna get.  accept it and enjoy it.
