my server gets four stars, the food gets 3. i came her w/ the BF a few months ago and ordered the burger. perhaps im spoiled living in california but the quality of meat i found to be subpar and it was overcooked. however the BF's prime rib sandwich was excellent. what was even more excellent was our server, who reminded me of chris farley. in a good way. having just come from the cemetery nearby he provided us with some much needed lolz. he also didn't charge me for the burger i didn't eat. thanks rob!

ill be back in hopes of A) getting rob as a server again B) dining in the summer months when it's not freezing in there C) eating hopefully better quality locally sourced meat.

The food was pretty bad, comparable to TGIF.....

I joined a birthday party dinner here on a weekend, and I was appalled.  After waiting for over 20 min for a table we reserved (they don't usually make reservations but they did for us), we were finally seated. Another 10 min. passed before a waiter hastily took our drink orders.
bread and cherry butter-- bread a little dry, charred (a day old), not heated.
artichoke dip-- ok
beet salad--grose! how do you screw up a beet salad?! the pieces of beet were huge, the beet had no flavor, the goat cheese was smeared on the bottom of the bowel rather than on top, and the salad had no dressing.
mushroom burger--fail! burger hard and inedible. As if it was compressed. The meat was so dense and dry that it was hard to bite through it (ordered medium).
pizza--oily.
fish and chips--the fish was warm but tasteless, the chips were the best thing at the table although a notch over salted. I really liked the tartar sauce and the coleslaw as well as the peas that came with the fish--that was a nice touch.
Overall, the service was subpar, most of the food was just bad and the place is generally overpriced given what they serve.
