This is not "fast" food. The prices aren't bad but the food is SLOW. We waited nearly twenty minutes for a gyro and a side salad when there was only one other couple in the restaurant. The cashier was nice, but she got my order wrong and overcharged me. To top it off, the fries tasted old and they didn't have the salad dressing advertised on the menu. Not worth another trip.
Review Source:Very, very, very slow. I felt terrible for the people in the drive thru. Our order was not even close to right...there was only 6 people in the restaurant, should not be hard. They put in extra effort and the manager was very helpful getting things fixed. Almost an hour in and I wasn't that impressed. The food seems a little "prepackaged". Â We gave it a try, but probably won't be doing that again. The pros were the helpful manager and the interesting decor.
Review Source:An empty pita does not a gyro make.
I was excited to see this Greek/Fast Food joint pop up on Havana where an Arby's used to be. I ordered a Gyro combo with fries and a drink. When I received the Gyro, there was practically nothing in the pita bread! Three paper-thin slices of meat, two paper-thin slices of tomato and two paper-thin slices of cucumber. One tiny sliver of onion. I just paid $8 for an empty pita bread. The fries were average. Bleh. I give this place two months at best.
Next time I'll head west a couple miles to Crown Burger, where I can get a Gyro so full of fresh ingredients, it's difficult to pick up to eat it. I've spilled twice as many ingredients out of a Crown Burger gyro than Deelish even puts on theirs. Â
Don't waste your money.
This place was all around not a good experience. The outside decor caught our eyes so we thought we'd give it a try. The gyros sandwich had horrible meat on it. The type that is thin sliced and already cut. Fries were decent. Stomachs both hurt and ached after eating here, such low quality food. Not to mention the middle eastern owner bossing around two helpless teenagers.
