Domaine Hudson New American Fare, Wine Bar & Spirits

Great little restaurant.  Good food, good drinks, cool atmosphere.  On the small side.  I sat by the bar at a table and could hear all the wait staff babble behind me, but not a big deal.  We will definitely go back, you have to be in the mood for the ambiance though.

Not your typical restaurant experience.  Small plates and wine flights.  Perfect for catching up with your friends or a first date.  I liked being able to try different wines before I settled on one.

I'm so late posting this and I apologize. My husband brought me here to wine, dine and no doubt impress me for Valentine's Day. He succeeded in every category. We live near Domaine Hudson and I had already read the reviews but I can't say enough about the ambiance and decor. It just doesn't get more intimate. As others have said, if you are looking for a place to impress your date, this is a good one.
Moving on, our server was endearing. We got the complete white glove service. The wine list is extensive. We ordered a bottle and a few cocktails. They had a prix fixe menu for the holiday that we ordered from. I had the pan fried sea bass with risotto. It was delicious. Hubby went for the surf and turf (yes he went all out) and while he loved his lobster tail he was a bit underwhelmed with his steak portion. But we've done fine dining before so I wasn't shocked but I guess he was really very hungry.
I had a very good time at Domaine Hudson and next time my hubby is ready to drop 200.00 on a meal, I'll be there.
