Firestone

Before I moved up to the NYC metro area, this was a spot I loved coming to. Firing the warmer months, the outdoor patio is nice, and looks over the river. Most nights have a DJ and live bands, so check out the event calendar for whose playing on a night.

Inside is nice - with many areas to accommodate drinks, dinner or private parties. Tons of seating or bar space if you want to catch the game too.

From a food perspective, the pizza is the main attraction here. They also have some good happy hour specials for the corporate folks in the area. Grab the buffalo chicken or plain pizza, and a few orange crushes and you're good to go.

HORRIBLE, RUDE, TACKY SERVICE.

Im going to talk about the HORRIBLE service me and my Girlfriend received tonight. First, when we went to the Hostess table the guy there said "In order to eat outside you have to order more than just a drink and appetizer, and also you can only stay for 90 minutes." Since we had planned to eat dinner, as awkward as that disclosure was, we still decided to eat outside. After our dinner a hostess/hostess manager came up to us and said, "Sorry to interrupt but we have a reservation in 15 minutes." Um WHAT? We just paid 65.00 for our meal and now we have to leave? As side note: There were other open tables (3 to be exact) there. Why us? And then another waitress said the same thing to another young couple, but didn't say anything to a group of rowdy older people that were there before us.  This made us feel belittled, unappreciated and downright low. This was at the upmost Tacky Service at its fineset. As a Delaware resident and former Wilmington Resident will NEVER go back there again!

Great atmosphere. Very fun. It's a place to hang out at. Their outdoor patio is a big plus!!! It's right on the river.

I wasn't too impressed with their menu... :( Rather common, cheaper choices. No spunk, no creativity. Definitely not Vegeterian/Vegan/Gluten Free spot! You can find some side dishes maybe... The quality of food was 'whatever'. And it did take them long time to bring any food items out.

I may be back for a drink and/or snack, but not for dinner.
