Flamingo Bar & Grill

Great steak tacos! The rest of the menu is rather large, and includes a vast array of grill-type food, like burgers, fries, onion rings, sandwiches, etc. It's also nice they have a bar, but need to stay open later to get more evening foot traffic. Interior could use a little sprucing up however...

We had an hour to kill before going to see a movie at AMC river east, so we walked around.  We walked past this place and figured they probably were decently priced, so we stopped in for a drink.

Draft beers were $2.50, and a pitcher was $10.  My whiskey and ginger-ale was $5.50.  The large basket of cheese fries was under $3.

Everyone was happy, and it didn't cost much.

The bar tender, and the guys behind the grill were both really nice.

The fries were fresh and tasty.

If you are ever in this area and want somewhere cheap to go, this is your place.  Too bad it's not open very late.

Ok so seriously this place has nothing "great" or ground breaking food to offer. However, it is a SUPERB local bar, the bar tenders here are great and so are the customers. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a cheap drink and maybe catch a game. I'm so glad that this place is near me in Streeterville because there are not a lot of cheap options around here!

Oh and if you live in the building, they deliver.
