Love FTC! They have such a fun, yet chill atmosphere. Great coffee roasted by Seven Hills in Cincinnati, great breakfast sandwiches, great staff, great owners, just great! The little touches truly MAKE the experience - clever signage, lovely displays, kids play space, its just a perfect small town coffee shop! Love it!
Review Source:I enjoy supporting local, mostly because I know I'm supporting another family locally. Â Most indie coffee shops in the 'nati have the decor down. Â Then I taste the goods.
And then I return to [insert major coffee chain here] until a friend wants to meet up at said indie shops.
Fort Thomas has the decor down. Â It's well-designed and decorated - I can tell they invested time and money to make it just right. Â Colors are awesome, it pops, and is great to sit down and relax as well as study at one of the 3-4 tables that are available.
For a family - there's a back area that is near the restroom that has toys and tons of books to read. Â A HUGE value for this family man. Â And a huge value for those who aren't exactly looking to studying with kids under their feet.
Coffee: great. Â Had an Americano so I could taste the espresso. Â Smooth, dark & sweet espresso. Â Thank you, FTC.
The two improvements (to get the 5-star) would be an easier way (than facebook) to get there, and extended hours. Â I'm sure the hours will come with time and profit. Â The website (at time of post) does not have an address or directions. Â I had to do a little digging to find it.
A major part of my enjoying coffee is the consistency of a good cup (hence returning to chain stores often), so I will keep updating this review as I visit.
If you want a good cup and good atmosphere, even with your family, got to FTC-FTC (Fort Thomas Coffee - For The Coffee). Â
Thanks for making the choice to choose local easy today, FTC.
