My husband and I came here on a Sunday evening after driving through the whole cemetery and into the small lot behind the 125-year-old building.
There were several people inside watching a football game and drinking. We sat down at the bar and I ordered a Midnight Mixer, which is one of the "Frozen Ghost" cocktails they were selling for $5. It was purple and tasty. I later had a Caramel Apple drink that was also pleasant.
For dinner I ate a corned beef sandwich with fries. Probably shouldn't have ordered it with white bread when I could've had it in a hoagie bun, but oh well. My husband had a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, which was delicious, juicy, correctly seasoned, and fried without too much grease. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We did not encounter any ghosts.
Was there for .50 cent taco night, Tuesdays, and will be going again.
I've been to this place a few times and every time I not only have gotten a quality meal, but their drink specials are also fantastic. The Rubens are out of this world, steak is tender, chili is great and tacos are awesome. Every day is a different food and drink special.
Only thing is you smell like smoke when you leave but it's worth it. Some days are worse than others...
