Ginger And Garlic

My husband and I stopped in after seeing the restaurant open and checking reviews on Yelp. We are both allergic to wheat, and ordered what we thought would be a wheat free dish each. However, the lunch specials we found out arrive  with a genereous helping of WHEAT noodles.
But wait- this has a happy ending!
After asking our waitress- are these rice noodles- she says No... and we explained we have an allergy. She immediately took our plates, the manager came by and told us they would replace the dishes completely with a revised version of what we ordered. It was delicious, and we were accomodatedw without being made to feel like outcasts.We were told- "next time you come back, let us know you have an allergy, we are happy to make sure all is as you need it" . I would suggest however, that some way be found to let people know what is accomanying each lovely combination of things in the specials- there are those of us who need to be careful of certain food items. The service was stellar and the attention to our needs was both kind and concerned. We will be back!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with appetizers and mu shoo pork and shrimp stir firy. We also had shrimp wonton soup, egg rolls, and pot stickers. Everything was very good. The decor was all chinese with bronze statues and red paper lanterns. We were having our 49th wedding anniversary meal, and the waiter gave us chinese pudding for dessert. It was more like a jello. Will go back again.

Enjoyed dim sum with a group of 11. The service was amazing and the private room they gave us was spacious. Very nice ambiance.  The dim sum is made to order - no carts, which was fine. The dim sum menu is a little confusing to read, but since our waiter was so helpful and friendly it was worked out well.
Wish we lived closer!
