I love coming here with my friends on weekends. I think I do a great job of treating my server with respect, but lately I've been having bad experiences. When I came here two weeks ago, though, I had Crystal and she was really great. She knew the menu well, recommended her favorites and was overall, pleasant to talk to. My friends and I left her a good tip and I hope to have her again.
Review Source:Overall I'd give this location 3 1/2 stars. Â This was our 2nd trip to Chicago and of course you have to have deep dish! Â The first time we visited we went to Lou Malnati's on Wells, and I'd have to say I preferred that over Gino's.
We have the spicy wings, which was pretty good, and sausage/shroom pizza we order wasn't bad...though I didn't like how the outer edge crust was SO crunchy and dry. Â It literally had no doughy "give" at all...sort of like eating a hard bread stick. Â
Would I come back here? Â Not unless I had a groupon again, as I just feel there's better pizza out there for the price.
Fantastic food..amazing service. Peter was a fantastic waiter. He was attentive, fun, considerate and helpful. Michael was the manager and couldn't have been nicer! They brought us a birthday drink and cake on the house. Can't wait to go back! One of the best restaurants I've been to in Chicago!
Review Source:Though I don't really care for a deep dish pizza (I'm from Massachusetts, I like my pizza thin), it was pretty good. We ordered and waited for about an hour for a pizza. She told me that it will take about 45 minutes when we ordered. Our waitress was busy but courteous. The best thing, NESN was on TV. Haha.....kinda biased, but I enjoyed it. I would come back.
Review Source:Only the pizza saves this place.
We had a Groupon for Gino's and decided to go here. Â We ordered our pizza and appetizer and looked over the extensive beer list. Â OMG, I can't believe the prices!!! Â $10 for a Colt 45 40oz? Â Unless Billy Dee Williams himself is serving it, that's ridiculous. Â
And what sports bar doesn't have a domestic brand like Miller or Bud on the list? Â At $7.25 a pint (which was in no way a pint) is ridiculous.
Our appetizer of calimari and zucchini came. Â Very hot, which was nice, but the coating was so thick you couldn't taste anything else, except for the deep fried lemon wedges that were also included. Â Seriously? Â At least tell me they are there and not afterwards when I eat one and almost gag on it. Â We spent the next 15 minutes having to peel most of the coating off any piece we were going to eat just to see what it was.
Well, at least the pizza was good.
Next time, it will be carry out only. Â From the service to the appetizers to the lengthy and pretentious beer list, we will not be back for a dine in.
There's a little bit of not-give-a-crappery going on at this location. Â The other Gino's Easts deserve at least a star more. Â Our waitress and hostess didn't really seem to care and the pizza took over an hour to make (should be 45 minutes). Â Despite being tasty, the wait didn't seem worth it.
The place speaks for itself: pretty empty.
Despite placing our order 20 minutes ahead of time, our medium pizza took another 20-30 minutes to be ready. Â The restaurant was not busy as it only had one other table, besides us. Â I don't think I've experienced such a long wait at Giordano's or Lou Malnati's for lunch. Â The pizza tasted okay.
The menu did not offer any personal pizzas, but I have heard they serve personal pizzas here. Not quite sure whats going on with why its not on the menu....
Service was slow. My lunch friends believed our server was either high or drunk.
The only positive was the fried zucchini and calamari appetizer. We ordered this ahead of time too and it was ready within 5 minutes of our arrival. Â It tasted really good.
If we did not have a groupon, I'm not sure this meal would be worth it.
The restaurant has a lot of televisions and a full bar making this a great place to catch sports game. Â We just aren't sure if its such a great place for lunch or dinner.
I really like this place. I am a buffalo wing connoisseur and Gino's wings are very very good, the manager told us they brine them first - that must be the secret to a juicy yet crisp wing. The sauce is the perfect level of spice. I think their regular pizzas are standard Chicago bar fare but the premium specialty pizzas are really great. There is a spicy sausage one - deep dish and a thin spicy pepperoni that are amazing. The ambiance is a little more upscale than the usual sports bar. A great date night spot. My only critism is that their price point is a bit high for what they are - a nice pizza joint. The premium pizzas are expensive but they are very good. House red wine blend was so easy to drink. It went with everything.
Review Source:Came here to try some Chicago Style pizza.
The place is fairly lively, with a nice bar area, and TVs on the side.
Staff were quite friendly and helpful, especially with the drink refills and pizza selection tips. Â You can pick your own toppings as well as choosing from a pre-selected list.
The California Fire pizza to be honest was quite mediocre. The crust was quite dry. Â However, the rest of the pizza was decent. Â If I had to choose between here and Giordano's (which is where I also tried the pizza), unfortunately the latter would win.
My favorite Gino's East pizza, but in a sports bar format. Â I guess my only issue with this place is that if you're marketing as a sports bar, you'd think there would be at least one Mega-screen/projector, to watch a big game. Â In this case we went to watch a Bears away game there and were often time squinting to see the screens and what they said. Â Besides that, good brews on tap and of course great pizza.
Review Source:I finally got a chance to try Gino's East. It was alright. I still stand by Lou Malnati's as my favorite Chicago-style deep dish pizza chain.
The pizza is standard Chicago-style. It's great, but nothing too special that would distinguish it from other similar places.
There's not as many preset toppings, but you're able pay for more. It's not a bad option once you've exhausted the original ones. It also seems to me that the pizzas take a bit longer to make than either Lou Malnati's and Giordano's. Thus, I recommend getting an appetizer or two to hold you over.
Thank our lucky stars that we had a Groupon. $7.25 "pints" (14 oz. actually, which really gets my goat) of beer such as: 5 Rabbit, Metropolitan, Revolution and bottles ranging anywhere from $5-$22 with the cheapest being Lone Star for $4. Average bottle price is $6-$7. Yeeeouch. Â
One large cheese pizza (deep dish or why else do you go there?) will run you $23, with every topping thereafter $4 each.
I highly encourage ordering the spinach sticks with ranch ($7) and going pure with your pizza - crumbled sausage only - but to each their own. The one thing you don't want to do is forget your wallet, your AmEx Black or your gold bricks.
Cripes, people. Go to Malnati's a few blocks south. Better pizza, cheaper prices and it won't hurt your bum when you leave.
My co-workers took me out here when I was in town, and I loved the graffiti ambience to this location. Â This place gets really packed. Â Appetizers were started with first, and I tried the friend spinich and the mozzeralla stick, and they were both really good.
If you order pizza, you must get the Chicago deep dish. Â This pizza tasted amazing, and the crust was seasoned with something. Â It was the pepperoni deep dish. Â The service was on par, I was amazed that the waitress could handle 30+ people at one time.
Again, if you're a tourist and in town and want to eat pizza, this place is one of your option. Â You won't regret it!
I'm going to give this place a good review because the pizza was pretty good, even though the service sucked. We had a Groupon for a pizza for two and two alcoholic drinks. I got two glasses of wine, since my girlfriend doesn't drink, and we got some sausage pizza.
We waited. I finished one glass of wine. Waited some more. Saw pizzas come out before ours, those who came in after us. I inquired why our pizzas were taking so long. The server explained that deep dish pizzas take longer than other thin crust pizzas, but he would check even though there was still another 10-20 minutes to go. Amazingly, our pizzas were done. Isn't that a coincidence?
Okay, the pizza was damn good. It wasn't like that crappy pizza deep dish pizza we got at BJ's in The Woodlands (see my previous review). The crust was crispy and wasn't dripping oil. Also, in case you're not familiar with Chicago deep dish pizza, they put the cheese on the bottom and the sauce on the top. At Gino's (I'm not sure if this is true with all Chicago pizza), the sauce is somewhat sweet. Oddly enough, there was a pizza place back in Greensburg called Gino's that the sauce was sweet as well, but it's probably just a coincidence, like the pizza's being ready in time, or someone copying the sauce. We really could have used some more toppings. If you ever had Vinnie Pie from Pittsburgh (R.I.P.), then you know what toppings are like!
Anyways, I liked the pizza here. It was good and I might come here again, although there are many more pizza joints to explore in this great city. We'll see if service becomes the tipping point for me in the future.
Thin, pan, or deep dish - I love me a good 'za. Â
On a Saturday night, after fighting through a thick crowd at nearby Lou Malnati's (down the street), and learning about their hour wait, we left, started walking north and stumbled upon Gino's East Sports Bar. Â 10 minute wait - nice looking space - much less chaotic - good!
We started with a simple salad, then waited for what seemed like an eternity for a large veggie deep-dish. Â All the while, catching glimpses of the Bulls game on the TVs everywhere around the place (we didn't really care about the game, but it was hard to not watch it).
They give warnings that the pizzas take 45 minutes. Â That's fair, and I'm glad they do provide that warning. Â We waited for a little over an hour, and the pizza did not come with one of the ingredients we ordered. Â The crust was very thick/hard and dry like a cracker. Â The pizza was still okay/good, but not worth the hour wait. Â Not my favorite deep-dish place...
Three hours til we need to be dolled up for a wedding (as guests, crybabies), and she tells me, point blank, "If I don't get deep dish pizza while I'm here, I will eat your face." Being a fan of my face - I mean, c'mon, have you seen this mug? - I ping a local halo and Gino's pops up. We run from the Palmer House and the clock starts.
1:11p - Arrive to no line and a moderate crowd inside. Spacious seating, tons of two tops and so many flat screens, I get an instant tan. Looking good!
1:17p - Visited by a trainee-shadowed Mary, who detects our out-of-towner way and warmly welcomes us with an announcement of $4 Revolution pints for Game Day (almost half off the usual $7.25) and a warning: the deep dish takes 45+ minutes to make. KG holds a knife to my sweet, pretty face as her words echo through my still-skinned skull. "Small sausage and two Anti-Hero IPAs, please."
1:20p - Beers come, knife is lowered.
1:25p - She starts saying something or other about love or whatever, but I'm drawn to the haunting glow of every currently aired sporting event currently broadcasting from the cornucopia of aforementioned televisions.
1:43p - Second beer. She's still talking.
1:59p - 5 minute warning! Mere mention sends drool down my currently uncut cheeks.
2:19p - It's here. So 45 minutes becomes an hour (no big), and here before us sits a steaming crust-bowl of cheese, sauce and meat. Lots of slightly sweet cheese, so much so a game of Cat's Cradle erupts between a slice and the mothership. Yes. Sauce is tangy with a heavy vinegar base and the crust. is. dense.
2:37p - Beg for the check as our stomachs chastise us for rushing through the experience. Paid, arrivederce! and out the door.
2:39p - Make the massive mistake of trying to catch the tail end of a crosswalk signal and sprint across the street. Gut bombs drop us both to our already shaky knees. Jesus.
The moral of the story: go slow with the pie. Slopping your way through it or ticking off your better half with poor planning - either way, you're going to lose face.
I came here thanks to my friend, Groupon. I like my friend as it was an excellent idea. We got the Wild Venison pizza... When it arrived we noticed it had an egg on top of it. At first, we were hesitant. Stupid us. It all worked so well together... the egg, the venison sausage, white cheddar
Our server was super nice, patient, and attentive. The place itself was also good. The dark wood theme made it cozy... for a sports bar.
It's good
I was ate here with my boyfriend while visiting Chicago. We loved it! Although, the deep dish wasn't THE best that I've had, it was still really tasty!
The service was WONDERFUL, there was no wait, and there were many TVs! The TVs were important because it meant we could watch the game and still face each other at the table! lol
The crowd was young and fun, but it was not overcrowded! Overall, it was certainly a great place to go!
I guess this is one of the new Gino's East sports bar where instead of a family feel it's more of an adult atmosphere. Â The real reason why my buddy and I met here is because we wanted a cheap meal and found a Group On that we could use the day of. Â So, 3 hours later there we were at Gino's sports bar.
The Group On limited us to one beer a piece and a medium sized pizza. Â I was particularly curious to try the Flossmoor Station brew that was listed on the Group On HOWEVER - this Gino's East didn't carry it! Â False marketing. Â I will have to alert Group On. Â And oddly enough, this is the third place in the city that has a Flossmoor Station beer listed on their menu and hasn't been able to produce it for me in a glass or any other form. Â Once I was told it was "lost."
We ordered basil and spinach pizza and were seriously confused because the basil looked like spinach and didn't taste like basil. Â After a minute of taste tests, we confirmed there was very little basil on the pizza but it was indeed present.
I want to be fair in this review since we had to stick to our option on the Group On deal. Â The place was fine, nothing special and not necessarily somewhere I would return. Â 3 stars because it was just OK.
It was pretty busy when we arrived and they said it would be about a 30 minute wait but we ended up getting seated in less than ten minutes. the waiter was very friendly.
We ordered the bbq brisket deep dish. Since we had a groupon it was the 9 inch size. The DT location is a bit pricier than the other locations. The pizza was very good though. We also ordered a side of mozerella sticks. The cheese sticks were very good. I got two glasses of wine, and tried their pumkpin budlight they were promoting at the time!
The atmosphere of the place was very sportsbar like. There were lots of tvs and high stool bars everywhere.
Its a good location because it is DT but other than that ill stick to the suburbs locations! more pizza, better prices! & easier parking!
Went here to watch the disaster that was the Bears/Packers game on Thursday night football. Â
The good: The beer list and the food. Â While Gino's isn't my favorite pizza in Chicago it's still good. Â They also had these amazing "spinach sticks" which were essentially huge cheese sticks but stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese. Â These will be a staple of every future outing. Â The other people in the bar were fun too. Â Solid place to watch some football.
The bad: Â The specials.... Â I would have liked to see a special to discount one or more of the $7.25 pints of draft beer. Â Also, they were out of the $2 16 oz old styles which seemed like a huge oversight going into a Bears game. Â The service was also not great, and this was clearly due to being understaffed. Â We rarely saw our waitress, but when we did she was very friendly and professional. Â They could use another TV on the West wall, and a couple more TVs on the South wall to really nail that sports bar feel.
Overall I liked this place, and would have had a great time had the bears o-line not fallen apart (which obviously isn't Gino's fault). Â I'll definitely be going back, and hopefully I can up the review to 4 or 5 stars.
Word to the wise: This is one of Chicago's newest Gino's (and while labeled "sports bar," it really is part of the Gino's famous deep dish chain) -- and the best part about that is, most people don't seem to know about it yet! We attempted to go to another Gino's the night before, and the wait was going to be at least 45 minutes to get a table (keep in mind, then you wait another 45 mins for deep dish pizza) so we changed plans. When we heard about Gino's East, we opted to go the following night (a Sunday) and it was super quiet, no wait. Score!
We had a really nice server, Chris (who was plenty patient and very good humoured with our slightly rowdy 3some of a table...haha), who took excellent care of us. The warm atmosphere was inviting and it's got a nice sports bar appeal -- lots of high top tables, big huge windows and dark wood interior. It was a little disappointing when it came to the draft beer menu -- with Lollapalooza happening the night before with a two-hour storm rainout, they were flooded with concert goers who drank them out of half their tap beers. Otherwise, they had a really good selection of about a half-dozen varieties, plus a couple more dozen beers by the bottle.
I was excited to try my first official, deep dish pizza and we went with a gourmet one (margharita style) and I was not disappointed. It was filling and delicious! Between the beers and the calamari appetizer (also awesome), two of us could only eat a single piece each! The other person with us had the chicken parm (which doesn't automatically come with cheese -- whaaaa?! -- so do yourself a favor and ask for a slice to be added). Seasoned fries were pretty tasty, too.
Tip: Since this is known as a "sports bar," parents -- you can't bring kids in here after 7:30 p.m.
Stopped here after a long evening with some friends. Â The good: Â
Staff was nice, and the bartender was good. Â Drinks weren't great, but drinkable. Â
The atmosphere certainly was local flair, but probably needs more time really have the local feel. Â
The downside is that they messed up our pizza order. Â Major bummer. Â Since it was take out, and we didn't look at the pie until we got home, there was no way to rectify this. Â Plus, the place was super, super expensive for what it was (around $20/person, only having 2 drinks each, nothing fancy, plus a thin crust pizza.) Â Ouch!
Side note: Â The pizza was good, not great. Â
I'll have to think really hard before I go back here again.
In my opinion people who have written bad reviews for this place are either going out of their way to complain, or they are just seriously nuts. Â I recently came in to check out the NEW Gino's East SPORTS BAR and I loved the place! Â I am a fan of the original Gino's East, but love the new twist they added to this Gino's. Â
The food here is better quality than you would find at a normal sports bar. Â I also like how there are several healthier options available such as the Roasted Eggplant Dip, All In Chicken Chopped Salad, Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Veggie Burger.
What sets Gino's East apart from other sports bars is the craft beer selection they have available (most are brewed within the Chicago area which helps boost the local economy) . Â 12 locally brewed beers on tap (favorite Anti-Hero by Revolution Brewery) and over 30 bottled beers!
The NEW four square specials they offer are awesome and so simple. Â You check in and get something free or discounted, what could be better than that?
The staff is friendly, our server was great and on top of her game. Â She spent time talking with me and my guest and offered great food and beer suggestions (Veggie Burger and Anti-Hero beer).
I already plan on coming back soon!
I'm a huge fan of Chicago Pizza, but normally if you go out on a Friday or Saturday night you have to fight large crowds and deal with long wait times. Â I really liked that when I came to the New Gino's East Sports Bar I was able to grab a table with no wait. Â
The atmosphere is fun here, good music, nice open windows/doors and very friendly service! Â My server was very attentive and was able to answer the several questions I had.
Beer prices are a bit high, but your getting higher quality craft beers. Â I tried the 5 Rabbit while my boyfriend was drinking Domain Dupage- both tasty beers!
A few bullet points:
1. Â The Chicken Parmesan, Chopped Brisket Sandwich and the Fresh Cucumber Pickles are amazing.
2. Â They have this amazing beer called Allagash. Â
3. Â The bar service is very good; I can't comment on the dining service, since I've never sat in that area. Â
4. Â I usually go on Thursdays, I sit at the bar and I'm single, for any neighborhood guys. Â Come on in...
It took forty-five minutes to make the deep dish pizza. We had a salad while waiting for it to get done. The server was really friendly and the food is great! I definitely recommend this place to anybody in town.
The walls are all tagged up, so bring a marker if you would like to add a name and date. :P Unfortunately we didn't have 1, so we couldn't mark our spot. Hehe. Maybe if we're ever back in town.
Strike 1 - I walk in on a Saturday afternoon when cubs are playing and the sox are playing and neither game is on one of their several tv's... Is that even possible in Chicago? Instead NFL network in July, Soccer, and espn news. Gotta be kidding me..
Strike 2 - I clearly ordered a 12 inch thin crust pizza but received and was charged for a large.
Strike 3 - My drink sat empty at times...
I was feeling under the weather that day so I didn't get to tap into their beer selection which looked pretty good. The pizza itself was pretty good.
The price points are pretty high here. I think it will get a lot of tourist biz from the hotel across the street.
I'm upping my review of Gino's East to 4.5 stars, because as a new restaurant in the neighborhood, I think they are doing everything right.
They are listening to customer suggestions...they now have Cholula hot sauce and purse hooks at the bar...thanks Maggie! Â
They are reading and responding to their Yelp reviews...something I always think makes great business sense...thanks Debbie F!
And they continue to add fabulous craft and import beers to their menu. The bartender Gio definitely knows his stuff when it comes to beer, and he will happily steer you towards what is sure to be your next "favorite beer", if you tell him a little bit about your tastes. Â So far, I'm loving the bartender line-up they have, with Chris, Sal and Gio. Â They are all friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Â All I can say is, I'm really looking forward to watching Bulls and Bears games in here!!
PS -- We heard a rumor they are going to be getting sidewalk seating...that will be sweet!
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Holding my horses here. I was all ready to settle in and write my review when I started reading all the other lit pieces by previous patrons. So, let me say my peace first.
First, um, this is actually a new hip place (so new I don't think they've officially reopened yet, have they?). While a patron, I also know of the owners (who are not the exact same as the old) through acquaintances and, let me just say, they are fit to be tied hip. Hip like sex on a stick hip. Hip like the new Brad and Angelina hip. Are we good here with the hip? They're smokin hip.
Second, bring the family during the day. At night, with this list of beers and the type of ambience, find another evening event for the family. Should be a no-brainer. Really, it's like bringing a child to a bar.
Okay, now what I really simply wanted to say is this... I think this new Gino's is a fabulous 21st century renovation of a Chicago classic that is stepping into a new era. Fantastisimo!!! Not your parents' Ginos. This is your very own.
How can you tell? Well just stroll right up to beer selection! A very massive selection of craft beers for a local pizza Sports Bar. I think I saw about 40 different ones. In other words, not just your parents' Bud and Bud Light.
Also, the pizza, which is always my favorite, now boasts several different variations. Granted, I am a vegetarian so I'm not going to venture into trying the Hunter Rabbit Deep Dish (and I own a bunny so I won't say anymore about this), but the Spinach Margherita is delicious. And, you can say you had your vegetables. The Zio Gino, which my friend had, looked mouth watering with the carmelized onions.
Thank you Gino's for updating one of my favorite go-to's. This family loves you!!!
Does your family like Gino's East? Well, Gino's East doesn't like your family.
Big fat FAIL for this new Gino's East location. Husband, 2-year-old daughter and I were turned away tonight around 8 p.m. because they don't allow children under age 15 in after 7:30. This after serving us around 10 p.m. on their opening day two weeks ago. The manager claimed the "new policy" was because they were part sports bar? Really? You serve PIZZA in a neighborhood FULL of families.
Sharing here on Yelp so other families can 1) avoid the displeasure of being shooed away and 2) consider taking their business elsewhere. We will NEVER go back there, even during the hours the presence of a child is tolerated.
Of all the things in the world to be pretentious about , we're picking deep dish pizza? Really?
I have to say, I find this brand new Gino's location to be a bit perplexing. This place is clearly going for a trendy, faux-haute cuisine, what, with its standard looking fried mozzarella sticks stacked like a log cabin as if this was an episode of Chopped or something. Not to mention the nicely jacked up prices for the new atmosphere.
It's all a little off-putting to be honest, but it's still a Gino's so the food is still really good. They really put a lot of effort into that pizza and it shows (or tastes... or something). The appetizers are also pretty tasty, and while I didn't partake at the time, the beer list is pretty extensive, which is always a plus.
The service was.. well, off.. The biggest issue was that we ordered a 14 inch deep dish and were given a 14 inch thin. When the thin crust arrived there was actually a moment where the waitress insisted to us that we didn't order actually deep dish and kind of implied we should be happy with what we got. So after kind of begrudgingly conceding and going to the manager to figure out what to do we were all left thinking it'd be another 45 minutes before our pizza was ready. Instead a new one came out in 3, one the waitress fully admitted was one someone else had ordered. So what happens to those people then? I was glad to have a pizza, but not exactly pleased that we were feasting to someone else's detriment because our waitress screwed up.
So yeah, there's something about downtown area Gino's that are just a problem for me. I've never had a good experience in one downtown and never had a bad experience in an outlying location. Combine the poor service with the high prices and a sense of a pizzeria trying to be something it's not, and I'll probably go elsewhere for my pizza when I'm in greater Loop.
First to review? For a Printer's Row restaurant? Unheard of!
We (me, husband, his best friend) were in "the city" for Printer's Row Lit Fest and looking for some pizza. Apparently Edwardo's closed in April, and now there is a trying-hard-to-be-hip Gino's East (owned by the same folks) instead.
Despite the large amount of people outside, we were seated immediately by a very perky hostess. Very. Perky.
I've been to Gino's before and this one is trying to set itself apart a little. There's a pretty big beer list, fancy specialty cocktails, TVs with sports on, and fancy "gourmet" deep-dish pizzas. I'm cool with fancy ingredients on thin crust, truly, try whatever you want. But deep dish? Stick to cheese, sausage, pepperoni or maybe some green pepper. That's it.
Anyway, we ordered fries to start and a 14" deep dish pepperoni. Our comrade ordered a diet coke, and after drinking the first one was informed that refills are *not* free. Come on. Seriously?
The fries were served all fancy in a paper cone with "dry rub" spices on them and a dipper of ranch. Pretty tasty, although nothing fancy -- the spices did help jazz them up a bit.
About 30 minutes later, out comes our waitress with ... a 14" thin crust pepperoni.
Say what? We inform her we ordered deep dish, and we all stare at each other for a minute, and then she says she'll have to talk to the manager.
A few minutes later a steaming hot deep dish pepperoni arrives, along with a half-assed apology. I guess we stole someone else's hot out of the oven? Oh well.
The pizza was piping hot, cheesy delicious and absolutely loaded with pepperoni. I counted one stack seven thick. I don't think they go for any sort of even-ness, just sort of lob it on.
Service was otherwise OK, though I really hate when servers drop the check off and then wait 20 minutes to come back for it. Seriously, you should be checking back within 5.
All in all a solid lunch experience, but you're paying downtown prices for pizza you can get just as easily in the suburbs.

Edit 7/9/12: After the comments posted below, we did receive some gift certificates in the mail for our trouble. I stand by my review of this location, but I appreciate that Gino's is listening and cares about their customers.
