Green Fine Salad

Wait, what? How have I not yelped this place yet?  I tried to go today to grab a salad as I'm working on a Saturday and they are closed *&*^&*%*&^!  I'm tempted to take off a star just for being inconvenienced 'cause I do love the salads!

Lots of gluten free options and lots of delicious salads to choose from.  I've never had the soups so I can't vouch for them.  They do take you through an assembly line - you give your order, they mix it all up in a bowl, write down your name and dressing and then send you down to the choppers.  

The choppers chop all your yummy ingredients into more managable bite sized pieces and hand it back to you in a neatly packaged salad bowl.  They also offer all of their salads as a wrap - which my husband prefers as he's not gluten free.  

It's quick, seems healthy, and delicious.  Staff is friendly. Just don't plan on eating here on weekends!

I have never really been a salad guy, but Green is by far the best salad place I have been. I used to only get their signature salads (mostly Asian or Steakhouse), which are pretty amazing, but creating your own salad can get you exactly what you want. The salads are about $10-$11 with a protein in it, but it is still the best salad you can get in Denver for the price.

A few of my favorites on the menu are the roasted cauliflower, shrimp (you get like 8 sauteed shrimp in a serving) and their Cusabi dressing (a mix of cucumber and wasabi). The cusabi dressing is incredible because they mix it in perfectly so that every third bite has a pretty good kick to it.

Also the staff is great. During the lunch rush, they get slammed but still smile and make sure every order is correct. Seating is extremely limited inside the restaurant so I would not plan on getting a seat unless you come right at 11 or after the rush ends. If the weather is nice, you can always find a spot to pop a squat at Skyline Park, which is right outside Green's doors.

Green is great, both for salad lovers and those adults that give some of their veggies to the dog.

I've been eating here for years.  The food is always incredibly fresh and delicious.  The portions are very large and I usually can't finish it all.  The only downside is the price is a little more than I would like to spend on a lunch salad.
