Hazlewood

This is one of those great vintage, old wood, dark lighting kind of bars. Makes you feel like you're back in the 1920s at a speakeasy. Even the bathroom is nice. The staff here were very friendly and they have some fantastic creative drinks to try that are plenty strong! They were pretty fairly priced too at about $8.50 - $9 each.

My only complain about this place is that most of the seating is upstairs and as a person with a disability, if I came on a busy night, there would have been no place for me to sit if all the seating downstairs was taken (to be expected when you're going bar hopping on a weekend night though). Thankfully though, that wasn't the case and our group got the bench seating right next to the bar.

That being said, this is still one of my favorite bars I've ever been to and I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Pros: Tiny bar, intimate, great cocktails. Adore the 'witch's tit' cocktail. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Cons: Sometimes has a cliquey vibe.

As far as a small space bar goes, Hazlewood is really great. I had my birthday in the upstairs area a few years back -- granted it was a weekday night, but it fit around 10 of my friends, and the bartenders were really great. It's also just an awesome place to grab an interesting cocktail with a friend or two.
