Originally my friends & I planned to celebrate a birthday at Blvd 3, but opted for the club crawl because cover here would have been $20 anyway. Â The club crawl is $20 for 4 bars/clubs: St. Felix, Couture, Blvd 3, and Colony for the weekend we went. Â It's the perfect situation for my group of friends because every time we plan to go to a club, we always get bored after an hour and end up leaving to eat. Â Everyone got trashed because we were so excited about it, so I can't comment anymore on what the club was like or what kind of music they played. Â All I can say is that everyone had a good time. Will probably end up doing this again, eventually.
Review Source:A lot of people think this is a scam, but it's legit.
I went for my 21st birthday and I had an amazinggggg time.
St. Felix - good drinks, good vibes
Lure - music was okay (i prefer hip hop)
Blvd 3 - my favorite! chocolate covered strawberries, free tacos, beautiful dancers, and good music
All for 20 bucks.
Il tell it like it is from my perspective being as I'm new to the area and this is the 1st time iv seen the nightlife in LA, or US in general. I'm not gonna polish a turd, but this event failed to impress me at all. I mean it is what it says "Club crawl", you meet at a bar, grab a drink, leave for the next one, simple!
I was on my own, having not really know anybody in the LA area so thought it would be a good idea to try this out an meet some new people that share similar interests IE drinking and having a laugh.
Upon receiving my wristband for the event I was told to meet outside in an hour to head to the next venue. I mean that was it, there's no introductions or anything, I just turned up to get an orange wristband to receive $2 off drinks.
4 clubs that were listed:
ST Felix
Room 86
My Studio
Boulevard 3
Never really heard a peep from the organizers except on arrival to the next place "Be outside at this time". I got chatting to a few people as we were walking to the next venue, but mostly people had arrived in groups anyway with their friends, so it appears I was the only only one going solo, which is fine, but thought their might be some kind of group participation thing to get people talking or connecting with different people, but nothing of the sort.
At the times we were hitting these places there was only one club that was very busy "My studio" so maybe it would've been better to just have skipped the rest and just have gone there. Â It seemed like nobody else was in the other places at all apart from when our very hefty group of 100 people showed up.
Participants in this event said its worth it to skip the lines and save queuing, but have to say on this particular night, there were no lines at all so I didn't really even fell that benefit.
In a nutshell, look up on Yelp or trip adviser, choose a club and just head straight there rather than spending $20 to be shuffled for just an hour to these places.
Iv attended Bar crawls in different countries all round the world, and this one leaves nothing to be desired if I'm being honest!
But I did have somewhat of a laugh though, lots of people dressing up like they were Usher!
Yesssssss soooo funnnn!!
Met at the first club- people weren't on time :'( But we got our wristbands.
Actually lost the group pretty quickly and by the middle of the night was wandering around gpsing ourselves to the next club, but once we got there free entry!
Such a good night, super fun getting to go to different clubs without lines and honestly don't remember going to the last club but that's probably the fun of it. You may meet interesting people but recommend going with a good group of friends.
And sooo cheappp. $20 for four clubs? yes please.
NOTE: I know why some people never make it to the fourth club, coming from my experience.
So I came here on a Friday night with my cousin and we decided to try this new "service" out. I think that the "service" part of taking us from clubs to clubs make it sound like a speed dating game.. but it really was not.
St. Felix: We got here around 10pm, right on time. We got our wristbands and people were mingling around and talking. My cousin and I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea to get us started. We were told to leave by 10:40 (thank god because I was not drunk enough to stay there...)
Room 86: This club is up the block, so not too far away! This club was pretty chill. The dance floor was exclusively reserved for Hollywood Club Crawl people. We tried some "blue" looking shooter and that got us jumping up and down on the dancefloor. I really did enjoy this environment, however it was small in comparison to other clubs that I have been to.
Blvd 3: This club is the fanciest club of all four. I really liked this club, they play Top 40, hip-hop .. and they also have two go go dancers on stage. I tried an Amaretto Sour from this club. I didn't really like it because it was too sweet :( So Blvd 3, work on your drinks! This is the club with the free chocolate-covered strawberries!! We didn't get any because we were already drunk off our minds and it was too long haha. We actually missed the time to meet up to head on to the 4th club because we had so much fun at this club! :]
Eden: I did not really like this club, my expectations for this club was a lot higher than what I expected. The only good thing is that my cousin and I got to dance on stage! But it was ehh.. we actually just walked back to Blvd 3 at the end of the night. In the end, Jason (the guy who led us around) even bought us Evian water! Evian!! The good water!! :] Thanks!
This was a great first experience! Thank you Jason for taking us around and helping us meet new people! Great service and I think that it was worth it for a cheap Asian like me. $20 for four clubs + discount on drankss?! Definitely recommended! :]
OK, I think someone is sneaking into my account and deleting my reviews.... I could have sworn I wrote a review for this place! Ill find the culprit, and when I do (holds fist in the air)!
Anywho, decided to get the most bang for my buck for a friends birthday. Hollywood + Clubs + Not waiting in line = Good Time. Â We rented a party bus because somehow we knew we were gonna be drunk, and we were right.
We went to Ecco, Beauty Bar and Blvd 3. Â I want to say there was a fourth club, but we never made it there.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Â::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Â::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Ecco - small and disappointing, but I was here to party. Give me a drink and a dance floor and I'm all over it. No need holding up the wall!
Beauty Bar - had a great time http://www.yelp.com/biz/…
Blvd 3 - I think people pay just to get into Blvd 3. http://www.yelp.com/biz/…

This is a very well organized (it has to be, because all the participants are two sheets to the wind) and smart idea. Multiple clubs for the price of one, and drink specials! Score. Even if you lose track of time the people at the clubs are nice and will let you in. Â Can't wait to do this all over again.
3.5 stars! Paid 20 dollars to get into four clubs on a Saturday night and mostly did not wait in line. Our club guide/person was super nice and did an impressive job of rounding us all up and taking us to each venue.
First up: St Felix. Late as usual, our group missed this one and caught up with the rest of the crawlers at some bar to get our wristbands.
Next up: Room 86. I had never heard of this place before, but it had some great throwback music (top 40s and hits from the 90s and early 2000s). Had a good time dancing here.
3rd club: My studio. Beautiful venue, but weird dudes and terrible music made this place not so fun. Good thing we got out of there after an hour.
4th club: Boulevard 3. I've been here before but wanted to see how visit #2 would go down. Turns out nothing has changed: the space is still sexy, the crowd is still whatever, and the music still sucks. However, they did have free tacos and chocolate covered strawberries. Dance floor was completely packed, but once again, they began turning on the lights almost half an hour before 2 AM. Such buzzkills.
LADIES! Wear comfortable shoes. There is a considerable amount of walking.
Summary: interesting experience and good value, but I only liked 1 of the 4 clubs. I personally don't see myself doing this again, but I do think it's good for those who get bored easily or for big groups (we had a group of 8) since you don't need to worry about having a good ratio or getting bottle service to get in.
All staff with Nasstive/ Hollywood Club Crawl were super nice and it was organized very well! St. Felix was busy but had drinks specials for Club Crawl attendees. Blvd 3 was beyond amazing! I had so much fun there! Drink prices were decent, it didn't cost an arm or leg. The bartenders were fast and friendly! The dance floor is huge and they played the best dance/ hip hop music. LOVED IT! :) Great weekend :)
Review Source:So I had to go on this club crawl a 2nd time before I could really review it... just to make sure it really was awesome (since I was pretty messed up the 1st time hahaha) but no doubt this was pretty awesome! I wasn't too fond of the club schedule the 2nd time around since we had to back track a bit in our walking but when you're tipsy and have back up shoes, no biggie. Tip for the ladies invest in some fold-able sandals or flats, they sure come in handy when walking from club to club.
Big thank you to our hosts Harris, Don, Rob, and Mark (aka Ireland) they really got this down and make sure that everyone is out one club and moving along and getting into the next. Also, if someone in your party is running late and have purchased a ticket on-line already they are the ones you want to see to check in! Totally recommend this club crawl unless you are boring and don't like to party lol you won't like this but if you love to have a good time then this is for you!
Club crawl allows you to visit four clubs, without getting in line, for $20. If you want to do a chill night in Hollywood this is not a bad idea. Plus you'll get to meet new people since we all trolled together.
The 4 club we visited were: St. Felix, Club 86, Eden, and Blvd 3. We saw Derick Rose at Club Eden. If you're D Rose you can roll in a club wearing a white, v-neck, T-Shirt. He was just chilling at his table standing behind two big security guards. I tried to get his attention, "Yo! Derick!" But no avail, he totally ignored me. But who am I? He's D Rose, filling in for MJ !!!
My friend didn't have a good time because one of the girl told me, "Did Joe tell you I don't dance with guys?" Ouch! talking about taking one in the stomach.
If you go with a group of friends you'll have a good time. What a great idea! From an entrepreneur perspective you now have control of 100 people. Which club owner wouldn't want 100 customers? I probably spend about $120 just on drinks alone.
Recaps:
Visit 4 clubs for $20
Friendly, good looking, hosts
If you don't meet many new people due to work and school this is a good way to meet new people
Too bad D-Rose won't make it to championship this year because this year belongs to the Lakers!
Loooooved the club crawl. Â You just pay 20 bucks for cover to four clubs and follow the party. Â It's great because you are with the same people so you're not forced to constantly meet new people at each stop. Â I love dancing so this was perfect for me and a big group of my friends. Â We all had a great time. Â Girls just wear comfy shoes because you'll be dancing and then walking a couple blocks...my feet were so tired but in a good way. Â :) Â The hosts were super nice. Â We went to all four clubs but I noticed some people stopped after three so there's no pressure to keep going. Â Super fun times...just get there on time!
Review Source:Went on the Hollywood Club Crawl a couple months ago, but forgot to write the review. Â Definitely had a great time with my friends. Â The hosts were all really cool. Â It gets kinda tough for the girls because you have to walk from club to club, but other than that, no complaint. Â
Our favorite was Boulevard3!
Went this past Saturday with my boyfriend in order to "try something new" as we usually are not into the Hollywood scene because of the waits in line and high covers so the thought of a crawl that took care of both of those seemed a little too good to be true?! I was kinda expecting the worst even though the reason we picked this particular crawl was because the other crawls on yelp all had horrible reviews except this one! Â This crawl was SUPERRR fun, had an awesome staff that had everything organized left every place on time, and could tell they wanted the crawlers to have fun! It was nice to visit each club walking from place to place reminded me of my childhood field trips except this had alcohol water fountains at every stop!....long story short I would recommend this to locals as well as to travelers!!
Review Source:OMG my feet are killing me...
all the reviews are true, as far as good price and fun and all that stuff, but 12 or so blocks in heels over 4 hours is a bit much for me, LOL.
guess im the dumb chick who shoulda just wore flats or nikes to get around, but the most annoying thing to me was that the host people kept saying "we are almost there". im not 5, so just tell me its 8 more blocks or 4 more blocks, versus some vague "its right here", "we are close", "not much further".
honestly, i would rather pay more and get a party bus or a cab. Â shrugs, it is cool if you are from out of town and want to hit several spots, but i would be cool keepin my $20 and goin to one spot - shrugs, but that's just me.
Ridiculously Fun even though I went Solo! Cheap drinks at the first bar, and great music at all the clubs. (Bar: 90's music, Ecco: House/Techno Clonoy: All Music Blvd: Hip-Hop) Best $21.95 I ever spent in my life! People that run it are so friendly, and will party with you too! My advice to anyone going bring some dr.schuelds gel inserts for your shoes, or else your feet will be hurting like a bitch!
Review Source:Follow the bearded man for $20.
He will lead you to the promise land in the form of Boulevard 3 (for Saturdays). But before that, it'll be 3 other mediocre stops. People are decently social, so it's easier to talk to other club crawlers than randomly talking to people in the clubs. Either way, the experience is what you make of it.
mannnnnnnnnnnnnn club crawl was the shittttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!
it was fun!!!! it was cheap!!!!! and we got to in front of the line no waits or nothing it was awesome!
wear some good walking shoes...
the drinks at the beauty bar was ok.....
the clubs was stupid poping!!!! i think we went friday and it was eden, beauty bar, boulevard something and i forget.. lmao
make sure you are not late you will miss the whole experience
and that is all folks
all for 21.95 lol
$20 presale for 4 clubs with no long wait & awesome hosts?! Yes, please! Â
The first two places were chill - Beauty Bar & Ecco. Â
1) Beauty bar served $3 house shots & $3 beers. Â What a steal! Â This is the meet up spot to get your wristbands, hang out with your friends, or mingle with new people.
2) Ecco played all EDM. Â Loved it!
After the second bar, my feet were dying! Ladies, wear COMFORTABLE HEELS or your feet will die like mine did. Â
The first two places aren't as crazy as the last two, but I guess the hosts choose their selections wisely. Â It leads up to the crazier and more crowded last two clubs:
3) Las Palmas - Â Wish I could go into detail about the ambience and the decor, but I have no memory of it. Â All I remember was that it was dark, I used their bathroom, and that your friends can get easily lost in the crowd so hold hands with one another? or stick together like glue. I did a whole lot of dancing here!, But to what kind of music you ask? Â I honestly have no idea... I just know I had a GREAT time!
4) The Colony - There was a short wait outside because the place reached max capacity. Â I just know it was darker inside this club than the third club with multiple gogo dancers on stage. Â From what I recall, it was a nice venue. Â My feet were just about ready to fall off by 2am. Â Stupid heels... Â
Overall, Club Crawl is definitely worth the time and money especially if you go with a super fun group of friends!
$20 for entrance to 4 clubs. (21+ only) No lines, no cover, no bs. It seriously makes the club experience so much better.
My friends and I had a great time doing this on Friday night. The first two places (Beauty Bar & Ecco) weren't great but I LOVED the 3rd club, Boulevard 3 (free tacos & choc covered strawberries!) . The last club, Crimson, was OK but the music sucked.
Overall, it's definitely worth trying. There's nothing better than waltzing into club after club and having a great time! haha
I found Hollywood Club Crawl through google for my 26th birthday last year. Â I wanted to get out of town and do something with my friends in LA that was stress-free and easy on the wallet. Â HCC had $15 pre-sale tickets online which I felt secure buying. Â They were SO good to work with! Â They're friendly and professional for sure.
A handful of my friends met at Beauty Bar, the first stop on the 4 clubs journey. Â You hangout in there for a bit, get some nicely priced drinks, it's a visually entertaining spot. Â Eventually you pay your money or show the guy up front your pre-sale confirmation and they give you a wristband. Theyre very good about rounding up the tour group and getting them in and out.
I had one friend show up just as we were being taken from Beauty Bar to the 2nd stop next door ??ecco??. Â She was easily able to find the guy running it, pay him $20 and join us for the rest of the night.
Warning! Â If you wear heels, those things will be on fire by the end of the night. Â I thoroughly enjoyed Ecco and the 3rd spot with three levels. Â You literally get lined up outside of the club and get walked in like VIP, no waiting and you have plenty of time to enjoy all 4 locations.
Unfortunately, my princesses did NOT want to take another step by the time we got to the 4th club in the mall. I walked in and had been there before, it didn't seem worth it to stick around so I exited to find a cab and return to the palace with my girls who were just as worn out.
There was no downside to working w HCC except the walking, but if you've never been around Hollywood, you would definitely benefit from mingling w the street hot dog vendors and seeing the nightlife that goes on amidst the pretentious club scene. HCC doesn't take you to the most pretentious of clubs, those you still have to know someone to get into or suffer in a line outside.
So glad you're expanding to San Diego, Nasstive Ent.
My friends and I have been out with the Hollywood Club Crawl a few times now and I can honestly say it is *always* a great time!
~ Club Selections: I'm pretty sure the hosts strategically plan their club selections for the night. Â Though the first two of the night (often Beauty Bar and Ecco) have more a lounge atmosphere to them, they lend to elevated excitements for the next two venues (which depending on the night could be a combination of Boulevard3 and Eden, or Premiere and Highlands). Â My friends and I have had fun at all the clubs on the crawl!
~ Hosts: We've mostly interacted with Jason on our excursions, but we've also met the other hosts as well. Â Everyone's super friendly and willing to help with any questions you may have. Â They're also really organized in giving you the times everyone should meet to head on to the next location. Â As long as club crawlers are mindful of those assigned times, everyone should be able to enjoy their nights!
~ Accessibility: I think one of the greatest things about the crawl is that it's accessible to everyone! Â For anyone willing to pay $20/night, you'll get into 4 fun Hollywood venues, not to mention you'll meet awesome new people. Â No lines, no problems!
~ FYI: Ladies, please be smart. Â It's a club *crawl* so wear heels comfortable enough for walking and dancing. Â You'll really get to enjoy your night so much more! Â Now, go, purchase a spot on the crawl some night, and have fun!!
i've been around the block when it comes to clubbing in hollywood/LA so when my friend wanted to re-live our clubbing glory days i thought we'd try something different..and i decided to use good 'ol reliable yelp for some guidance. Â
Yelp landed me onto Hollywood Club Crawl's lap...literally =P
Though each bar/club had their own pro and con..keep in mind the review is for the club crawl and not for each individual clubs...[am saving the ambiance, musicality and decor love/bash for their own yelp page]
Enjoyed going to four separate bars/clubs in one night [it IS called a crawl]
Had read all the past reviews and knew that the walk would require me to wear comfy shoes
+the hosts were all nice and made sure we knew what time to meet outside to proceed to the next venue
+ definitely a great way to meet new and interesting people
+would definitely recommend this to out-of-towners who want to experience "hollywood" quick and easy [easy being...you don't have to do much planning yourself...]
+would also recommend this to people like me...just tired of the damn "guestlist lines" and overly dramatic/a-hole clipboard-holders!! i just want to walk into a club and smile and wave at all the people who are standing in line =) *waves with air of superiority*
Hollywood Club Crawl is like a
school trip for people who are not used to clubbing.
My experience was
"MEH"
Heres are reasons I felt this way.
So, we went to
Ecco, Premier Supper Club, and the Highlands.
[Ecco]
Small, but good music.
[Premier Supper Club] :
Medium size, good interior, but TERRIBLE MUSIC.
OH MY GOD, I have no idea why they had a such HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DJ.
Even Itunes could play better than that.
[Highlands]
Dude... really? SO GHETTO. People here just want to get laid.
Ladies, those guys dont care about who you are, they just want to get in bed with you.
DONT GO HERE if you want a decent human being.
So, me and my girl went back to the Ecco because it was only place
that has decent music. Seriously, I dont understand those clubs hiring bad bad DJs.
So, One decent club out of 3?
Yea, its MEH.
OH Girls,
I know I know... we want to look bad ass and sexy bitches..
but You cannot wear "sexy painful high heels"
We walk a lot. Its almost suicidal.
I was smart enough to wear boots instead my of sexy ass baby,
and Yea I had no pain.
Oh, you know what.
If the club crawl had Bus for everyone, that would be AWESOME.
Wow! Worst nite ever...ok so I came here with 2 of my friends..for new years for "the special event" for the highlands. We got the VIP package ($150). Which includes them taking us to the "405 bar" then to the highlands club. And 2 for 1 drinks at the 405 bar & open bar at the highlands ..& performances by Lupe fiasco & Mario Lopez hosting.
Ok well everything was false! I'm actually thinking about taking them to court for false advertising. I'm that serious.
1st. The 405 weren't 2 for 1 drinks. What they did is give if you the double of alcohol in the drink you get (which tasted like shxt) & they call that "2 for 1 drink"
2nd. We never saw Mario Lopez or Lupe fiasco perform
3rd. And this is a BIG one..it wasn't open bar at the club. What they did is give you one drink & one drink only & they pick it! & nasty as hell !! And had to wait in a line for a hour for that one drink! 1 drink per person so we just ended up buying are own drinks!!
They also kick us out & wouldn't let us back in because there was supposedly a fight so it closed at 1am!!
All together we payed $450. It wasn't worth one penny..And we weren't the only ones that were mad we met a lot of people that felt the same way. It was seriously a joke
Had a great time for $20 bucks to four venues in one night. Time went by so fast that by the time we got to the third club, it was already 1 and we didnt wanna leave. Our first two stops were at bars and the last two were actual clubs. Girls, as others have noted, please wear comfy shoes you would be able to walk a few blocks in because you will have to and its not pleasant. The face club that night for me was blvd 3 where they had complimentary chocolate covered strawberries galore and street tacos. It was great because by 12am, I was starving from all the drinkin and walking.
Great organized event. Wish the first two stops were better but can't complain since they made up for it with the last two.
My friends and I joined the Hollywood Club Crawl group about two weeks ago for my birthday and I've never had so much fun at the clubs. Once again, Yelp saved the day and helped me find this gem. My two favorite things combined into one: Dancing and cheapness. Oh lesss dew itttttt.
LOCATION: Hollywood! On our particular night (which was a Saturday) our stops were Beauty Bar, Ecco, Premiere Supperclub and then Highlands. I am in LOVE with Hollywood as is but the club crawl just made it that much more awesome. Beauty Bar&Ecco were literally right next to each other but Premiere Supperclub and Highlands were a bit of a walk away. Wish I could tell you exactly how far away but it was my birthday so enough said. LADIES, WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. Seriously. I read some reviews on here and I was like psssh, these girls just don't know how to walk in heels. Yeah, definitely wrong. Although cute super tall heels may be cute for the pictures, your calves are going to hate you on the walk over to the 3rd stop. If you're like me, you'll end up walking back with shoes in hand.
ATMOSPHERE/EXPERIENCE: 4 spots to talk about in one review, ay yi yi!
Beauty Bar - Itty bitty bar, definitely not "poppin" but everyone in there was from the club crawl. I actually wasn't there long enough to get a drink so I can't say much! I hear the drinks were super duper cheap though.
Ecco - Pretty small place. I expected it to be a club but turned out to be more of a lounge then anything. At first it was really empty, just a couple people standing around in the middle, singing along to oldies, but as the time went on (and the dj changed from 80's music to house) the place started to fill up and I actually really enjoyed this lounge. I wish I could remember the name of the DJ because he was actually playing good music and I was getting my groove on to every song. The crowd wasn't as "beautiful" as the pictures on the screen above the DJ made it seem but hey! I don't care, I'm just here to dance with my friends and my boyfriend. All I can remember is... pew pew pew pew pew pewwwww. At a certain time (which I REALLY wish I could remember the details of) the hosts of our club crawl let our group know that we should meet outside at _:_ _.
Premiere Supperclub - Not to be confused with the all so exclusive Supperclub. Definitely my FAVORITE stop of the night. The walk was a little... torturous but I made it ALIVE! Not only did my feet hurt from dancing but also from walkin a million miles. On the way over there were about a hundred street dog carts but I was just thinking... must... resist.... until.... after. I didn't want a little food baby to show through my tight dress hehe. Anyways, we got in immediately and the place was packed! Again, great DJ and ooooh pretty lights! The place itself was kinda small but there's always room for a Stacey dance circle. Again, I wished I remembered who was DJing this night because they were awesome! He listened to our song requests and gave me a birthday shout out about 5 times.
Highlands - By this time, half of my group had dropped off. I was so tired by then but I wanted to experience the whole thing! Â Highlands was whatevers, probably because I was so tired and spent a lot of my time dancing in a booth by myself. My favorite part was leaving and getting a STREET DOG. Best thing to ever enter my stomach. The dirtier, the better.
PRICES: UM $20 FOR ALL 4 PLACES?! IS THIS REAL LIFE? So incredibly cheap. A club in itself is $20 but you have to deal with lines (unless you're rich/famous/have big boobs) and promoters.Usually have a ratio of 5:1 boys to girls, clubs are pretty difficult for me (at least to get the whole group in at a reasonable time). With the club crawl, I didn't have to worry about any of that.
I highly recommend the Hollywood Club Crawl for everyone. I had so much fun and I'm definitely coming back with more friends. COME WITH A GOOD GROUP OF FRIENDS. Any club/bar is fun if you're with the right people, right? Bring some babes and you'll have a good time.
TIP: Beware of sketchy parking lots. I parked at the one right across the street from the Beauty Bar that was SUPPOSED to be $15 but ended up being $255 at the towing company -_______________- DON'T PARK THERE!!!!!!! They are big time douche bags that told me they didn't know where my car was and to call 911. The lot could fit like 20 cars... you really don't know where my car is? So there I was crying in a parking lot at 3am holding some pink balloons that say another fabulous year...Would've been the best day ever if it wasn't for that.
Great deal, great people, great time. I highly recommend.
Went there for Halloween weekend, had a blast. This was well-organized. Jason is awesome. All the "handlers" that organized the event were professional and fun. They got us to where we needed to go, which was impressive.
Bars & clubs were all great, and the order in which we went was just right.
Best of all we met cool people. Everybody was friendly, social, and there to have a good time. This is a great event for parties, tourists, or groups of friends. Or even singles looking to meet people.
I look forward to doing this again.
I discovered the club crawl thanks to yelp, did it twice recently and i can't recommend it enough, it's a good time no doubt.
Typically, the crawl starts in a bar with cheap watered down drinks. The first time we were at beauty bar. $2 shots are good and all, but you get what you pay for; I had 3 shots and was still stone cold sober. The other night we started at another bar with $5 daiquiris, but here again the drinks were watered down. You might as well pre-party in the car with your group, always a smart play.
From there on out, the good times just keep rolling. The clubs we went to were Ecco, Blvd3, Bardo and Avalon on the first night, Hemingways and Eden on the second night. Being able to just walk into Blvd3 and Eden without having to deal with long ass lines was legit, most VIP i've ever felt in hollywood. Partied with some cool folks too, and a bunch of Euro chicks out on the town, just legit. Best was for out of towners to experience as much of Hollywood clubs in a little time for sure.
Pro-tips: Wear comfy shoes, although the clubs are pretty close to one another, it's still a fair amount of walking. Also, most parking garages in the area close at 2:30, so make sure yu pick up your car before then. My friends and i were having such a good time, we stayed at Avalon until 3:30, had to come back the next evening to get my car...and they made me pay $20 for overnight parking. Annoying.
Anyways, check out the crawl for sure. I'm def doing it again the first excuse i get.
Best night in a long time!
This was fabulous for having friends in town.
As other reviews said, wear comfortable shoes because there is a bit of walking. Bring a watch or you'll get left behind. Get to the first club early so that you can enjoy the cheap drinks and their specials only last for so long. The tickets for the crawl are cheaper than getting into just one of the better clubs, you won't get a better deal.
Definitely worth it!
Hollywood club crawl is the thing to do if you are new to the area, want to go clubbing for cheap, meet new people and overall have a good time.
If you buy online it will be 20 dollars or less but if you buy at the door then it will be 25. Spots are limited so I would recommend purchasing online. Save the time and money. Â
You can go on either Friday or Saturday but be aware they go to different clubs on those days. They both have the same meeting spot but end up at different clubs. I went on a Saturday and bought my tickets online. My line up for that night was:
Beauty Bar - fun little place with cheap drinks, they don't have premium alcohol though
Ecco - has premium alcohol, very loud music
Premier - was super crowded when we went but if you go upstairs its less hot and more room
Highlands - big dance floor, gogo dancers were sort of boring but has a nice view upstairs
The event itself was very well organized and they let you know a head of time what time you will be leaving to the next destination. For example when we went to Ecco, they told us to be ready to go at 11:20-11:30. You can just wait outside with the group until they go off to the next destination. You can stay at the club you like but be aware if the group leaves and you stay, you will not get the opportunity to skip lines and get in right away.
FYI:
Ladies there is a bit of walking so wear comfortable shoes!
Also wondering where to park? I would recommend parking near the 3rd or 4th club and just walk to beauty bar from there, then by the end of the night when you are ready to go home, you won't have to walk all the way to beauty bar.
My friend and I decided we wanted to go out, dress up, drink and dance. The only problem was we aren't really into the "Hollywood" scene and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to have a good night. Â Enter club crawl:
10-10:30 Beauty Bar $2 cosmo shots (strong)
10:30-11:30 Ecco expensive drinks; if you are into house music you will love it
11:45-12:45 Premier Top 40 typical "Hollywood" nightclub but not all the douche-bagery you would expect
1-2 Kress Don't even bother downstairs. Upstairs is perfection! Don't remember much.
Normally by 12 after a full week of work we would both be exhausted but being carted from club to club makes the time FLY. Â I would definitely do it again with a bigger group of friends. Â I would highly recommend this for guys since it's always a pain in the ass to get in anywhere if you're in a group with more than 2 dudes.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
All the Yelpers are spot on with their reviews. I went on the crawl with my cousins. We met up at the Beauty Bar at 10pm and were greeted by Jason and Carla. This was actually our favorite place of the night. The drinks were STRONG and CHEAP! The owner was pretty cool too. The music was surprisingly good and we had a good time dancing and singing there. Next stop was Ecco, which was right next door. Techno music was loud and pretty crappy, drinks were weak and expensive. After a short while here, we left and went back to Beauty Bar. Jason actually came by the Beauty Bar a few minutes before we were scheduled to leave Ecco to let us know not to be late.
The walk to Las Palmas was not that bad. We had a pretty large group and it was great getting to know people. When we got close, Carla informed us that we could choose between Las Palmas and Premier, both were new clubs right next to each other. We chose Las Palmas. The music was good there. We went to the restroom and found an area right outside the restroom with tables and a bar. Deanna, the bartender, was making the drinks strong and oh so good! She was great and we ended up drinking way more than we wanted to! Once again, Jason came by to remind us to be outside by 11:45pm.
Our final stop of the night was Kress. The club was ok, but I was bummed that we weren't able to get to the rooftop since I had read so many good things about it. Oh well, the music inside was good, though it did get a bit hot and stuffy inside. Jason came by once again to check on us and make sure we were ok. The next thing we knew, the lights were on and it was time to go home :(
This was definitely worth the price and it was so much fun. It's amazing how they were able to keep a large group of drunk people on the move, from club to club. We will be back and have recommended this to all our friends. You will not regret this experience.
I've only done this once, but if you're a clubber it doesnt get better than this!
I went last Friday Night with my boyfriend. The club crawl was a group of about 20 people at the beginning mostly from LA ( the Valley, East La, Downtown) and some guys from France. Not all of them made it to the last stop..but it was a great group.
Everyone introduced themselves on their own and was excited to have a good night out in Hollywood. Â The age range was around mid twenties to early thirties. Most of the time, we hung out with people in smaller groups than with all 20 of us.
Ladies, highly HIGHLY recommend you wear flats/ sandals. Think about a full 4 hours on your feet. Save yourselves and look cute and comfortable in non-heeled shoes.
There were two hosts, Jason and Harris. They were fun, friendly and made everyone feel welcome.
15 dollars presale - note plus 2.50 tax, so it's actually 17.50/per ticket
20 dollars - at the first meeting spot which is Beauty Bar.
4 stops - I included times, not so you know when and where they'll be, but so you can get a sense of the place given peak/non-peak hours.
1. Beauty Bar (10-10.30)- Low key bar with affordable drinks. (low key cause this was EARLY). 2 dollar shots and 2 dollars off drinks, with Club Crawl wristband.
2. Ecco Lounge (10.30-11.30) - Right next door to Beauty Bar. Great spot with hip hop music and (the night we went) a free shot for girls. It was still early in the night so there was space, but I'm sure this place can get packed later. Beware - no ventilation, so it gets hot fast, but you're only here for a little bit.
3. Blvd 3 (11.45-12.45) - Having gone here MANY times before, I can honestly say this is my favorite spot in Hollywood. There's outdoor and indoor bars A LOT of space. Ridiculously good music (top 40, hip hop). There's a stage with dancers inside. Free tacos and strawberries. Usually this place is 20 dollars cover. So it makes perfect sense to do the club crawl.
4. Kress (1-2am) - Another great hollywood hip hop spot, that's still going strong rooftop floor and bar, and two other levels of dance floors. good spot that doesnt close until after 2am.
I know this review is long..I just had so much to say.
Overall great experience!!
My girlfriends and I did the Hollywood Club Crawl last night for a birthday and we had a successful night of FUN!
Price:
$15 for presale
$20 at the door
The HCC was lead by Tyler. Ladies, if you think he's cute from the front...you have to see the view from behind. So remember to follow him and don't get lost behind!
First stop: BEAUTY BAR
*You have to meet here at 10 p.m. to get your wristbands
*I suggest you drink as much as you can here because they have super cheap drinks. Also, if you're part of the HCC then you get $2 off any well drinks or shots.
*The service here was great! The bartender even gave my friends and I a free round of drinks. He definitely got a good tip.
Second stop: ECCO
*The walk from Beauty Bar to ECCO was not bad at all. In fact, it was right next door.
*This club had top shelf liquor, so yay for that.
*I honestly didn't think this place was that memorable..so ehh...onto the next
Third stop: Boulevard 3 (MY FAVORITE STOP OF THE NIGHT!)
*While crawling to blvd 3, I couldn't resist the smell of the yummy street dogs. So, being the foodie that I am I had to have one. Thank god I got that hotdog bc the walk from ecco to blvd 3 was pretty far!
*As we were about to enter blvd 3, I heard "free tacos inside" So right when we got in, I rushed to the taco spot. The tacos were delicious, especially if you're drunk.
*Since it was Easter weekend, they even gave out candy. How cute.
*This club had the best looking people compared to all the clubs we went to that night. And everyone was super friendly ( I love that!)
*Also, If you guys love strong drinks, then this is the place to get it at!
Last Stop: KRESS
*Another far walk!
*In my opinion, the best level in this club is the rooftop.
*While I was here, I really wished I stayed back at blvd 3! dammit.
Overall, I think this was a great deal (4 clubs for the price of 1). I would definitely do this again sometime :)
I just went on the Hollywood Club Crawl this past Friday to celebrate my friend's birthday. I have been to most of the clubs on the crawl before, but we thought how fun to go to 4 clubs in 1 night, no lines, and all for just about $18.
It starts at 10pm at Beauty Bar. This is a cute little girly bar that looks like a hair salon. We got drinks here since it was $2 off with our Hollywood Club Crawl wristbands. Yes, drinks were cheap but only downside is that they didn't have any top shelf alcohol such as Grey Goose, Patron, Ciroc, etc.
Next, we went right next door to Ecco. This place played hip hop, and we were able to get our dance on. And yay! They had Grey Goose and Patron here!
From Ecco, we walked to Blvd 3. At this point we were all pretty buzzed, and I can't remember how long of a walk this was. I was just glad I wore flats! Ladies, there is quite a bit of walking so I would recommend comfy shoes.
Blvd 3 is where the night ended for my girls and I. We were having too much fun to continue onto the 4th place, and we also lost track of time.
This is a great idea, and I'm glad I got to experience the Club Crawl and def would recommend it.
DAMNIT! Michael F beat me at reviewing this event. Â
Anyway, the Hollywood Club Crawl is legit. Â I've used them twice already. Â It's a very good deal because you pay $18-$20, and there is no waiting in line. Â (*Especially important if you're a guy). Â Although, being a girl, I've never taken advantage of this and walked to the front of the line. Â I feel guilty cutting that way.
The first time we did the crawl, we only RSVP'd online but paid in person, because I couldn't find the buy tickets online link. :P Â
If you buy the tickets online, it comes out to $15 plus a $2.45 service fee so ($17.45). Â So everyone would save $2.55.
The crawl visits four places each night. Â And they usually have this every Friday and Saturday. Â You meet at the Beauty Bar at 10pm. Â It's alright if you're just a little late, because they stay at the Beauty Bar four around half an hour. Â But I wouldn't risk it. Â Get there on time. Â Also GET your drinks HERE, because the next three stops have more expensive drinks. Â TRUST ME.
Other places they visit: Ecco Ultra Lounge, Kress, Highlands, Five oh Four. They just recently added a new stop to their list. Â Boulevard3.
At each event, they'll tell you when and where to meet to go to the next location. Â Be on time for this or you'll get left behind. Â No joke. Â They won't wait for you.
When you go, wear comfortable shoes. Â It's not too much of a walk. Â The distance between the starting point and the end point is around .6 miles. Â And, to echo what Michael F said, what I would do is park at Highlands, ONLY if it's one of the stops you're going to then walk to the starting point (Beauty Bar). Â That way your car is already parked at the end point (Highlands). Â Don't forget to get validation though. Â It's $2 for the first 4 hours. Â
If you happen to go on another night with Kress being the end point, then I would just park in one of the lots. Â Unless, you don't mind walking four blocks to Highlands.
For the men, No hats or flip flops /sandals. Â As long as your shoes are clean and you are dressed nicely you should be fine. It is not super fancy but as long as you are not too casual you should be fine. "
Final note: Bring Earplugs. Â The music just keeps getting louder and louder as the night progresses.
I read the other Yelp reviews before attending the Hollywood Club Crawl and they are all on point. Â It was a great experience and I had a fun time doing it. Â The promoters were well organized and professional throughout, and delivered on exactly what was promised. The clubs themselves are not the greatest, but they are not terrible either. Â We went to Beauty Bar, Ecco, Kress, and the Highlands, in that order, and they got increasing better as we went along. Â The best part of the crawl is bypassing all of the lines and heading strait in to the clubs. Â
These are some tips that I would offer to anyone doing the club crawl to make it the best experience possible:
-Wear comfortable shoes! Â There is A LOT of walking involved, and you will be thankful to have the right shoes on.
-Park at Highland and Hollywood. Â The crawl starts at Beauty Bar on Cahuenga, but ends at the Highlands. Â Parking is much cheaper at the legitimate lot at the Highlands than it is at the dingy, private lots around the start of the crawl. Â Plus you will not have to walk all the way back to Cahuenga at the end of the night.
-Be on time when they tell you when and where to meet to walk to the next venue. Â If you are late, you will get left.
-If you find that you really like one of the clubs, and you don't want to leave, you don't have to. Â You can just stay and not meet up with the group. Â
Overall, it was a great experience to do with with friends. Â It gives you a taste of a few of the clubs in Hollywood, and the general club scene. Â I would definitely love to get a group together and do this again.
Total Great concept if you are a visitor to the area and want a taste of Hollywood Nightlife. No Top rated clubs, however you don't need Top Rated to know Hollywood. Beauty bar is one of my favorite spots to hit and it's on their crawl. The other venues: Ecco (right next to the Beauty Bar) Kress, and Highlands. Came out for a girlfriends B-day bash and we had a great time.
You get escorted to 4 different venues and VIP entrance not having to wait in line. The staff is friendly and fun.
It is a lot of walking so Girls forever in Hi-Heels, be warned, the walk is brutal, and they walk fast. At least I think they do after a few drinks and walking in Heels, everyone seems to be walking faster than you... lol
Even if you all show up late... at the second or third venue, you still pay full price. No Negotiation, no matter how big your party is.
Beauty Bar as well as Ecco would have let us in for free. So you are really paying for the two other clubs. If you knew the promoters for Kress and Highlands, I am sure you would get in fairly easy as well. That's why it's a good concept for visitors or people that do not want to hassle with guest lists.
Overall it was total fun, the party as a whole (mostly from out-of-town) had a blast, and that is what makes the experience.
