Had some ordered in for a lunch meeting. I am not a big sandwich person, especially when they are bare bones with only meat, lettuce, tomato, etc. But, I must admit, Jimmy Johns is still able to pack some flavor and the bread is fab.

Pathetic service and money looters! Beach club is my absolute favorite of Jimmy Johns mostly because of the avocado - but this franchise delivered me one without any. I requested for peppers and mustard in my sandwich, which never came! Regret tipping $3 for a hopeless $7 sandwich!! NOT recommended.

I was here 2 weeks ago.

    I got the #9 and the #11.

    both on french bread.

they claimed this is double the meat.

my question is:where is the meat?

    there was NO MEAT.

this is worse than Subways and Blimpie

Jimmy Johns sandwiches are awesome, but I wanted to write about this store in particular:

When you go the shop, everyone is incredibly nice and helpful.

When you get delivery, holy crap!  If I didn't see them make the sandwiches fresh every time, I would think they already had them made.  When you are hungry, it's like they already know and just start heading your way!

Great food, awesome service, super fast delivery.  What else could you want?

this store blows. the last 6 times i've had delivery it's been wrong. and the attitude when you call back to remedy the situation doesn't help either.

i eat lunch here quite often and everything is perfect. the staff is friendly as they greet you when you walk in the door, and my sandwiches are ready for me before i finish filling up my soda! i definitely recommend the #9 Italian Night Club with hot peppers. enjoy!

I'm pretty sure you need to be a hipster with a bike in order to work at Jimmy Johns.  Regardless, the workers at this location are saints for putting up with all the drunks such as myself that stumble in.  Thanks to them for maintaining their friendliness and efficiency!  I'm sure I owe the crew a couple of apologies for my belligerence!

    P.S.  #5, the Vito.  Always.

So full.  I ordered the Gargantuan on a very hungover day for delivery.  I lived less than 2 blocks away.  I definitely noticed some judgment from the delivery guy, but whatever...gimme my sandwich!  Every time I've been here they pile on the toppings to the point of overflowing.  Even my boyfriend (who can eat a lot) said, "that's a big sandwich!"

This review is for JJ's Italian Nightclub sandwich with peppers (you have to get that, and get it with peppers for this review to apply to you).

There's absolutely nothing better!  I've never eaten a better Italian club in my life.  Got it 3 times in 6 days during a recent stay in the Windy City.  I miss it now and wish that JJ's was on the West Coast.  Can't say that about any sandwich at PotBelly's.  Though I like it, it's nothing to long for.

Seriously, go to Jimmy Johns and get the Italian Nightclub with peppers, you won't be sorry!

It's super fast and you can taste that in the sandwiches. Before I could get my whole order in (no mayo, easy cheese, multigrain bread), they already started to make an original style, uncustomized sandwich. There's something that gets lost in this hectic, full speed ahead sandwich joint.

The immediate area surrounding this place is a bit shady and there's some unsavory characters that meander around and inside this place.

Otherwise, it does the lunch-fix trick.

Jimmy Johns is ok, not the best sandwiches, but they are fast.
I came here today for their $1 special they had on their sandwiches and I've ordered for delivery from this location plenty of times and the longest they've ever taken was 2 min which isn't long at all!

I must say that I side with Amy Poehler over Tina Fey on the Chicago sandwich debate: Potbelly's is better than Jimmy John's.

However, Jimmy John's does have a damned decent sandwich.  24 hour delivery, online ordered and my Italian club sandwich was at my hotel room within 10 minutes.  How can you not love delivery that quick?  No minimum order either - you want *one* sandwich delivered to you?  You'll get *one* sandwich.  Hell - even the delivery girl was cute.

Downside?  I checked the goddamned 'cut in half' box on the online form - and my sandwich arrived whole.  Had to eat my sandwich like a damned savage.

Just had the worst experience at this Jimmy Johns.

I have had JJs before at a different location & told my boyfriend how good it was (we just moved from CA so clearly this is a new thing for us) undecided what to eat, we ended up at the Division location.

After some debate, I decided to try to BLT (or whatever they call it - JJBLTA?) long story short it was a joke. The bacon was cold & uncooked. Discusting.

After just one bite, we politely asked they give us new (and COOKED) bacon and was told that they couldn't do that, nor could they (apparently) give me a new sandwich or my money back. There was no manager to speak to, just a bunch of employees that clearly could care less about customer service or the product they were serving.

I very rarely give bad reviews..but after paying to throw my sandwich away, I came straight home to frozen dinner.....& yelp.

I LOVE JIMMY JOHNS... haven't had you since college and you're better than i remember.  If you haven't been its a chain-sub shop that delivers some pretty delicious subs.  Chose from one of their 15 (i think) specials or make your own... they're all good!

I was walking around Chicago late around 10 pm looking for a decent meal when I came across Jimmy Johns. I never knew that it was a large franchise (I'm from NY) and heard there were many in Chi Town. I had a turkey sub on their "french bread" lets just say that I was not pleased. The bread tasted cheap and had no flavor and the most repulsive thing to a foodie like me was the lack of fixings in the sub! They slapped on some mayo and maybe 2 slices of turkey and cheese I swear I get fuller subs from Subway! All I tasted was mayo.. I ate three bites of the sub was upset and threw it out. All in all it was a waste, maybe I would have better luck getting one of their signature sandwhiches but really none were THAT appealing. Disappointment .

I love you, Jimmy Johns, for several reasons.

For being open late, but not being total crap food.
    For always having friendly employees.
For never screwing up an order.
For having a reasonable price for a really good, and filling sandwich.
And for having the best bread... ever.

I had my first sucky Jimmy Johns sub and its to these guys that I thank for it.  The bread was hard on the ends, suggesting it is old bread.  I like the typical soft french bread that I'm used to handling at other locations.  I didn't have much time, only enough to grab a quick bite and make it to a meeting.  Otherwise, I would've asked for them to make me another. WTF? Come'on you whose making that sub, I'm sure you fondle many breads per day, you should be on the ball and know when bread is good or stale.  Blah!  I threw out half a sandwich, it bothered me too much to finish a sub with bad bread.  At my meeting I saw a few ladies that were also here buying a sandwich, theirs was perfect! All I'm saying is pay attention to every sub and serve them consistently.
Booths, could you guys space it a bit more? It's hard to sit and breathe for big and tall people.

We order Jimmy Johns for our business quite occasionally, and every time we place an order they screw things up. I honestly do not believe they have ever put together an order for our company correctly. It's quite frustrating to say the least.

Jimmy John's is one of the best sub sandwiches I've ever had. I love this place and I highly recommend it. I might book a flight to Chicago right now just to pick up a sandwich.

HEY!  Jimmy John's delivery guys!  Women don't like guys who make kissy-kissy sounds and whoops and whistles to get us to look at you!  I'm just trying to buy some dog food, you creeps!

Oh, and the "sexy sexy" is a nice touch too. Way to make yourself look like a dick and give me the heeby geebies.

Happened on my way IN to the dog store and on the way OUT, on a SUNDAY MORNING. Two different guys, delivery cars parked right out front.
