The food is pretty decent, their Senser's fries are amazing. Went on a trivia game night and played with friends... it was fun. Tons of TV's so you can watch a decent amount of games. Beer prices are pretty decent, beware of the Pirate's Booty Drink.. the parking lot will spin after just one. In walking distance of surrounding hotels. If you're a fan of Bleu Cheese, their Ama Blu Bleu burger is off the hook.

I could not care less about sports so that had nothing to do with my decision to go to Sensers. Actually I didn't choose it, friends did. It was Valentines day and we had a fairly large group. No problem here there was hardly anyone in here. I didn't know what to expect and all I was really looking for was some tasty food before heading out to the movies. Well I couldn't find that here. The service was pretty terrible for a place that had few other customers and the food was just not good. I'd rather eat at Applebees.

When I first entered I thought, "This is my place." but nah...
The good: lots of monitors with a map at the host stand to show you what's playing where. The menu is solid as well.
The bad: service is slow as molasses. Went there one night to watch a game and had a helluva time even getting my waiter's attention once he finally dropped the food off.
The ugly: went back the following night because it was within walking distance of my hotel thinking it was a fluke stroke of bad luck before. Not so lucky. After I was rudely greeted and seated no one bothered to even take my drink order, so I split.
Overall, if you have an infinite amount of time to spend, head on over, the menu is good but not the pulled pork. what should i expect from BBQ in Minnesota?

This was a 2 star place for me for a number of years but it has improved. Food is better and more consistent as is the service. It's a sports bar and that's all I expect out of it.

Huge TV screens everywhere and usually a pretty lively crowd.

Last few lunches have been decent and prices aren't terrible.

Again just a sports bar, but improved from where I remember it a few years ago.

So-so.

Took forever to get a waitress after we were seated, but she was great when she did come by.

Took part in their daily happy hour, got the $5 apps and 1/2 price pizza.

The pizza was well worth it, it was delicious.

We had the Buffalo dip, the dip was alright but nothing spectacular.

Also had the Texas Nachos...not worth it, way too small and sub-par.

Also had the Loaded Italian Fries, which was pretty good, 6 bread sticks with toppings and marinara.

Overall the food was mediocre, some good some bad,and the staff was lright but nothing special. Thus 3 stars

Great place to watch any sports on tv. We come here to watch the F1 and they can tune a specific tv to your channel and you have the audio box right there.
Food is what you'd expect at an american sports bar, nothing bad so far.
They have breakfast around lunch which works perfectly for some race replays!

It's a bit hard to keep ordering to not feel too bad during a long game/race so maybe order smaller things more often?

Excellent concept, and highly recommend it for watching a particular game/channel that other more mainstream places wouldn't show.
Service is always friendly and helpful.

The most important thing about a sports bar is the accessibility of the game you want to watch. Senser's is cool because there are TVs all around the perimeter of the restaurant and plenty of them. The best thing about watching a game there is the personal speaker boxes they give you for your table. The boxes allow you to tune in to the audio for the particular game you're watching. Usually you get stuck watching a game with no sound, or with the sound from another game, but not at Senser's! It is still a loud environment, especially since they have one event with audio on for the whole restaurant, but the personal speakers make it easy to ignore that and focus on your game of choice.
Excellent bar service.
The traditional buffalo wings were good, the gator sliders were unimpressive. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was tasty, moist, and delicious.
The Crazy Elvis...a burger with peanut butter, pickles, bacon, and mayo was an adventure for sure. Our waitress insisted that I wouldn't regret it if I ordered one, and I don't regret it at all. I wouldn't order another one, but I'm glad I've had one. It really was very tasty, I love all of those things individually and put together, they were actually very good. The problem with the Crazy Elvis is that peanut butter sticks to the roof of your mouth, even with all that other stuff going on, and it's annoying to get through a whole burger with that going on. You should try one though, maybe split it with someone.

The beer as good, the nachos, OK at best. Not enough cheese. However, a ton of enormous projection screens with sports on them was great. Service was good.

Can you hear me now?

This place is ok after reading some reviews I thought what the heck while we're in town we'll check it out, and hey our hotel is right around the corner. We stopped in on a Friday at 1:00pm and the place was dead which was awesome (faster service). I ordered a salad with low fat mango vinaigrette which was absolutely fabulous, and fruit. My bf ordered the reuben and sweet potato fries it looked great when he offered me a bite, but it didn't make my taste buds dance! So when we left we realized we left our iphone, and when we turned around to go get it our server was coming after us! Awesome!

Pros: 15 big screen tv's, fast, friendly honest service.
Cons: The food is just okay

Located just off Hwy 494 in Bloomington, MN, this place made an easy stop for a lunch while I was in Bloomington.
I was greeted and seated at one of nearly 40 booths and tables. The entire perimeter was surrounded by 20 very Large screen TVs. The centerpiece was not one, but two large bars with seating all about them. they could easily seat over 200 people in my own estimation.
I was served by a fun waitress named Tammy. She found my favorite brew and took my order in a friendly and fun fashion plus had no troubles answering menu questions.
What I decided on was the Kobe Beef and Gouda Stacker. http://www.yelp.com/user…
The beef was stacked high and most importantly was prepared perfectly. The Gouda cheese was melted over garlic seasoned Roast beef sliced after the roast and sandwiched between the beef and Gouda was caramelized onions. Ya, it was as good as it sounds.
My food came to my table fast and tasted wonderful.
I might say that I visited during the lunch hour and this "sports bar" seemed quieter than would be expected. This may be a result of the large inside area simply consuming the noise.
I highly recommend and gladly hand out 4 stars to Joe Senser's Sports Grill & Bar.

Go there for Bucko Night and MMA fights. The staff is there is always great. Good specials on drinks and food. The food is real tasty and pretty good value.

Can always catch a bunch of games here.

Only downside is the draft beer is flat/warm at front bar and the TV's are getting old.

Excellent burgers. Had the Tillamook. This is a good sports bar environment. You have the personal speakers for your table that allow you to tune in the volume for the screen you want to watch. The screens are big and all over the place. If you want to have a good time watching your sports event, here's the place. The desserts are good too!

Lots-o-tvs! Great place to watch sports but food is average and a little pricey. Service is decent. We ended up going twice during the week we were in town and both nights they had something going on. First night it was some sport points thing and I won a shirt. The second time we were there the Guiness Girls were in the house giving away free beer. Would give better ratings if the food was a little less expensive since it is average bar food.

Great atmosphere. You can pick a tv and they will give you a sound tower for you to hear your station only. Without disturbing any other patrons.
I had the taco salad. The meat was blah but the dressing was great. The wings are decent too.

Stopped in here for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup FInals. This is a great sports bar. It's cavernous, and it's nearly impossible to miss the action here on TV as they have the walls covered with extremely large flat-panel TVs from end to end. There are probably 25 50"+ TVs hung on the walls. It was also helpful that you can get a "speaker box" that can be placed at your table so you are able to follow the audio.

I was feeling adventurous so I tried the Gator Burger. It was extremely memorable and very enjoyable. Great texture, great flavor and something quite a bit different from a burger or chicken. Highly recommended along with a side of their signature fries and dipping sauce.

This place was extremely packed for the game, but the help here was very good at getting us refills and delivering our food. Our service was not impacted at all by the level of activity.

If I lived in this area I would be here regularly. It's well run and has great food.

Average sports bar with lots of tv's, friendly bartenders. When I requested a certain game they switched to it and even gave us a little speaker box so we can hear it! First time I've ever seen that. Pretty cool!

The great thing about this sports bar is it's convenience. It's close to the Mall of America in cases where you want to get away from crazed shoppers and it's also close to the Airport. They have more projection TVs then you can shake a stick at! A nice change of atmosphere compared to BWW.

Underwhelming.

Good: For a sports bar, this place is quite nice. Every possible sport you'd want to watch was playing on a screen somewhere even though it was the middle of march madness.

Not good: On the other hand, if all I wanted was to watch sports and have a beer, I wouldn't have needed to come here. In fact, in retrospect, I probably would have been giving this place at least one more star if I had stopped with the beer. The mistake I made was ordering the food. The reality doesn't match the hype. The highly recommended pizza was cold, bland, and pretty much all crust. The deli Reuben was dry and tasted stale. And if that weren't enough, the service was all but nonexistent. The server came around to take the order and deliver the bill and at no other time.

If there's a next time here, I'll have the beer, enjoy a game, and forgo the food. There are too many other options available in the area

Food: 2 stars
Service: 0 stars
All things sports: 5 stars

No reason to still exist. BWW would be at least be a small improvement. Should be leveled and something new should move in with all the competition in Bloomington.

They have been able to consistently serve flat tap beer for 10 years. Amazing feat.

Although I am from Rochester and don't dine in the Twin Cities that often, I have been to Grandma's Table a couple of times in the past. I went looking for it again (it isn't there) but instead went to Joe Sensers, which is right next door. Excellent! Courteous, efficient staff, good food, good beer.

Love this place. I spend my Saturdays there in the fall watching college football.

The service is friendly and knowledgeable. And, they always have the games on I want to watch. If they don't, just ask, they'll usually be able to find you a screen with your game. The tabletop speakers are cool, so you can listen to your game.

Favorite food is the Gameday Combo - burger, buffalo chicken bites and waffle fries. 2nd favorit is the mushroom swiss burger.

Went to Joe's due to proximity and reviews on Yelp. It was great. i was with my mom who is 71 and we had a great burger with some beers to wash it down while watching the Giants go to the World Series. Our waitress was Rene, I thin,k and she had great suggestions and timing throughout the meal. Unlikely to ever be back to MN, but if I am, I will definetly go

Wow...this sports bar has so many big screen TVs. This is a sports bar fan heaven. Your table gets it own personal audio box speaker so you can hear the audio on your own event you wanna watch/hear. Something I never seen. Food is so=so then again which sports bar have great food. When I was there, every channel was on HD. They also air UFC events. I wish I lived in Bloomington area so I could go to this bar.

This has got to be the best place to see multiple sporting events from one seat in the TC area. As others have said, this place has more screens than you can count and all of them are huge. Each time I have been there the service has been impressive, with very little wait for food despite being busy.

The food is your average Applebee's type fare. The baby back ribs are adequate but nothing special. Burgers are nothing special as well, but I'd have enjoyed my share of them while watching a games. Their nacho's however sucked IMO. They were huge but suffered the same fate as most nachos, lack of meat. The lettuce was soggy and the cheese was bitter, possibly even sharp. Now I don't like nacho cheese to taste like Velveeta, but it shouldn't be bitter of sharp either. Where's the beef (or chicken). I have found only one place that I know of that has the right proportion of meat to chips.

Probably remains my favorite sports bar in Minnesota, despite the fact that they removed the Sandy Stephens' Hot Pastrami Sandwich from the menu. Best there ever was.

First off, the new setup with all the gigantic projection screens is badass, as most sports bars have a serious issue with satisfying all of the patrons when it comes to what is on. You can't sit anywhere in this place without being right by at least 2 giant screens, and most tables give you a view of 4 - 6. I'm sure it would have been a helluva fun place to watch the Vikings trample the Cowboys... and a slightly less fun place to watch them allow the Saints to win.

Food: The Senser fries are world famous (or at least they are in my mind)... best waffle fries I've ever had. The rest of the menu is decent, although as I mentioned before, the fact that they removed my favorite menu item is why I took away a star. Heart-breaking.

Friendly staff, rarely a long wait, and a good selection of drinks and beer on tap. Not too spendy either.

Overall, I still love it. Even if I live 2000 miles away.

For the most part, this place is pretty good. I stopped here with my parents and sister while we were escaping 494 traffic at like 5:30 one afternoon. I had never been to the place, let a lone even heard of it, but when we stopped in, I didn't think it could be that bad of an idea.

Joe Senser's is your basic, run-of-the-mill, sports bar, except with tons more tv screens, and tons of different games playing on each. I hate when you go into a sports bar, and you get stuck simply watching the Twins games.

I would probably come back. My boyfriend, some friends and I like to go watch UFC every now and then at the Champps by our house, but if this place shows the fights, I think it would be a better idea to try it out for a night together.

The food was decent, nothing to write home about our anything, but good. The drinks were cheap, and the overall price was lower than I expected.. I guess there is nothing to complain about!

My buddy and I swung over to Joe Senser's for some happy hour drinks and we were not disappointed.

The Long Island ice teas were $2.50 for smalls, so I had about 4 different ones. I had a Malibu, a purple, a Long Island and a few big Summit beers. The two of us got out of there for about 27 bucks.

Screens are everywhere for whatever game you want to watch...I am talking 40 screens that surround the establishment.

Our waiter was awesome and the prices were great for a happy hour.

Good stuff.

It's a typical bar and grill. I had their sliders with an aioli sauce but their sauce wasn't as garlicky as I usually like it. The sliders were pretty good. I like MN's local beer, Summit. They have it on tap here and it's good! Seems like a great place to hang out with the guys on game night.

Pretty much all you could ask for in a sports bar.

Lots and lots of HD TV Screens, beer, and food. I've been here a number of times for various sporting events and have always been satisfied.

Sure, it's a little bit of a drive from where I live downtown, but there isn't really a true sports bar in the city. At least not one where you will definitely see the game you want to watch.

My husband and I headed over here yesterday, because they said on their website that they were showing The Beanpot (college hockey tournament in Boston that they do every year), and they had the local NESN (New England Sports Network) feed. Being from New England, this is very good by me.

So we went, and the staff was extremely friendly. They didn't have the first game on yet when we showed up, so we asked and they told us which screen they'd put it on, so we were seated (basically got to pick whatever table we wanted by that screen) and by the time we got there, it had beens switched over.

Basically, we spent from 4pm until 10somethingpm sitting there watch college hockey... we just drank water all night, and during the first game we ordered waffle fries, and then nachos for the 2nd game, and that was totally cool with them that we just sat and barely ate anything.

I must say, that was completely awesome of them. They didn't hound us, they occasionally came by to check in on us, and were super friendly.

Our appetizers were pretty good, unfortunately for us, though, they're about all us two vegetarians can order on the menu. Actually trying to have a meal there would be rather difficult, as I think we only spotted one pasta dish that we could have ordered if wanted to do that.... so we would've been shit out of luck in that department, really.

But, this place was very cool, and it was very awesome to get to see a feed from a station back home, and some ultra familiar teams.

Also, anyone who has been here probably knows, but in case you don't, you don't get any audio for your game you're watching. Because they have so many screens, I'm sure, and it would just be a big blabbering wall of sounds, so they play music instead.
