Karachi Grill

First and foremost I believe most of the reviewers are confused as I found out theres another location unrelated to this one. When I read the bad reviews I was thinking how could it be as I have been there a few months back and loved it? I actually have been here many times with my husband and friends. Secondly, this place is Pakistani, not Indian. And yes, there is a slight difference. The owner is Pakistani and the name Karachi even comes from a major city in Pakistan and all dishes are authentically Pakistani. This said, there are some dishes similar to India as well. Now third, I am in no way associated with the owner nor do I know his name. I have no stake in this restaurant whatsoever. When I like the service somewhere and especially the food, I tend to come back. I have never had a bad dish here. They have all been great with the exception being the butter chicken which was mediocre. All in all, good food for a fair price.

Disgusting.  Went up to Devon hoping to treat myself to a, low key casual Indian lunch.  The friendly service and quick seating didn't make up for the dismal food quality.  I ordered butter chicken and veggie samosas.  The veggie samosas tasted bad as if old vegetables had been used.  The butter chicken was flavorless,rubbery and floating in an ocean of grease.  They charge $4 for rice. Yes, that's right they charge extra. My biggest regret was not sending back my food.  Though, I highly doubt anything else to come out of the kitchen would have been up to any reasonable standard.

$14 down the drain.  Don't eat here.

Amazing food, just came back from there. Definately one of the best karachi style food places in Chicago. I ordered Mutton Qorma, Chicken Kabab Rolls and Bihari Kabab's, they came with two sauces and the taste was amazing. Good on the price point as well. Authentic Karachi taste.

It took them almost 15 minutes, reminded of me of Karachi. I would say it is as good as it gets!

Highly recommended for dinner.
