Landmark Pub & Liquors

I've only been here once. It's really the only drinking establishment within walking distance of my house, so that is a huge positive. Full disclosure, I went here on a Wednesday night about 10pm, not exactly prime hours. Especially out in the burbs'. This is a small joint, but has all the needed bar essentials - pool table, dart board, TVs, etc. I had a couple of Amstel's, which is the Wednesday special, for I think $2.50 a bottle, maybe it was $3.00, and in any case it was a fair deal. There were only two other patrons there, who clearly are regulars. They were chatting up the bartender about pain pills and other equally interesting things. I'm not sure, but by judging the bartenders knowledge of pharmaceuticals she might be in the health-care profession during the day. Or maybe not.  Nobody was exactly friendly, but I'm not the most sociable person in the world. Anyway, you could do worse and I might make it back to check out the atmosphere during a Bears game in the fall.
