An absolutely charming venue with excellent sight lines from 99% of the seats.

We purchased tickets for their Saturday night Burlesque show on their website with relative simplicity. All tickets are will-call, but I brought a print-out of my confirmation e-mail just in case.

Doors opened at 11 and everyone in the small lobby was ushered down the stairs, then we waited for the door person to confirm reservations and take visitors to their tables.

Somehow we were seated at a front-row table. Score! Boobies without the need for squinting.

The pre-show entertainment was lackluster. A Jewish/Irish guy singing old Irish drinking songs. He wasn't very good and was not entertaining in the least. He made the half-hour wait for boobies more awkward than it already was.

When the MC, Naughty Pierre, came on stage, the mood lightened a bit. He's a funny guy and a great MC. My only complaint is that he got more time on stage than any of the girls, because he started the show then came on between each girls' set. I want to see boobies, not a middle-aged gay guy cracking jokes.

On to the "burlesque". I have many complaints. I have, in my mind, an idea of what burlesque is. It involves women of many different shapes and sizes tantalizing the audience with a fully-clothed dance that eventually turns into an almost-nude finale.

    Not here.

The girls each had about 5 minutes. Not long enough to get you hot and bothered. Almost every girl was the same in shape and body type: blonde and tiny... save for the two Asians... brunette and tiny. I was hoping for a little chubby-girl love... instead, the only chubby girl at this club was a stage-hand who cleaned props off the stage between sets. Really disappointing.

In addition, there wasn't much that left the audience salivating. The girls did their dance in five minutes, then as soon as they revealed their pasties, they scurried off the stage. I guess I was expecting a little more sensuality. Instead, this show focused more on the funny/schtick.

We spent $50 on tickets. I don't really feel like the "show" was worth that much. Yes, the girls are in incredible shape and there were parts that made me laugh, but I came for burlesque and I left still wanting burlesque.

Holy crap - we had a blast.  My husband and I came out to the late night burlesque for our anniversary and it was tons of fun!

Would have given them 5 stars if we hadn't waited over 40 minutes for someone to even take our drink order.  None of the waitresses wanted to "claim" our table; they just kept on walking by and wouldn't look at us when we waived. But, hopefully that was a one-off situation.

I am ready to give a 5 star for the great performance and in general it is great nightclub with specific cool atmosphere.

A show inside a clock tower who would have thunk it! Right next to the Tilted Kilt is the clocktower and just below in the basement is a moderate sized room with  just over 2 dozen tables. But before seeing the set-up my party of 9 stood in a long line to enter, gave our party name and were then given noise party makers and all excited for the Sexy Circus Side show. For $25 dollars I'm not sure the variety show I got was worth it. Some entertainers are definitely more talented than others. However, drinks were on the cheap side yet decent, except the Bloody Mary, that drink was botched up and disgusting. I know that different nights hold different themes and performances and not every night is consistent or the same but i know i didn't get to experience Pierre the regular MC (although Midnight Martini was great, gorgeous and spunky )there were few great acts and many "what kind of act was that" kind of act. Still the idea of a cabaret is still very fun to a birthday party, bachlorette party or a party group party like mine! It is an experience and most if not all my friends I took were "cabaret virgins" if you will. I had high expectations, but then again I did only pay $25, when for other cabarets I've seen were much more expensive and full of great talented people.

A large group of us went for one of the burlesque shows the other night for a friend's  birthday. It was full up; not an empty seat in the house and not a lot of room between tables. The crowd was a mix of bachelor and bachelorette parties and some random mixed groups like ours. I had never been there before and was hoping the the cabaret would be at the top of the tower, but it's in the basement. It's decorated like an old school Victorian theater from what I can remember (it was dark and we were all pretty drunk by then, especially the birthday girl). The show itself wasn't sleazy at all. At the risk of using a terrible cliche, the girls had talent. There were several doing different routines, but the belly dancer stood out. As a burlesque show, the MC throws out jokes here and there, some funny, some awful and some so awful they were funny. It's not the type of thing to do on a regular basis, but as a once-in-a-blue-moon thing at an interesting place, it's a good night out.

Made reservations for the BURLESQUE show.  The ad looks wonderful, the 11:00 show is when the door opens.. but the show doesnt start until 11:30pm .  Kind of an odd show, girl dancing in a  roof suspended circle, one girl dancing with a hula hoop, a belly dancer, and oddly enough a man dancing on stage with a fake penis in his pants while a woman sang a off key song.  It was all very odd and not very Burlesque.  I will give credit to the few women (maybe 3 or 4 of them) who truly did a great job with burlesque.  Also "Nasty Pierre" saved the show with his humor.

Now lets talk about the drinks.  Both my boyfriend and I ordered drinks at $10 each.  They were terrible, my whiskey sour tasted like it was made of watered down pear juice and bad whiskey, I was able to take about two sips and couldnt stomach the rest.  Boyfriend drank his drink simply because he paid $10 for it.  For $10 that drink should of tasted like gold!  We also ordered the Mediterranean snack dish of olives and bread and two sauces for the bread.  One sauce was very good but the Hummus dish was not eatable.

I had high expectations for this show since I had been to Lannies Clock tower for a different type of show which was wonderful.

I would say "dont bother" but if you do.. make sure you drink before you arrive and have your meal elsewhere.

We have been twice so far to the late night Burlesque show but the first time was better than the second. The show was still good. The host is what makes the show. There was a really creepy nun part that made me feel uncomfortable and I felt I had to go to church on Sunday!!.  We booked super late so we had to sit on the ramp which sucked cause you could only hold your drink or set it on the floor. Overall it was a good show. The Banana girl Rocked it!!!

The place is awesome. Very ornate with cozy tables facing the stage. I went there for a stand up comedy show that takes place the last Sunday of every night. The organizer is great and brings stand up comics from Denver and elsewhere for a laid back show. The comedy is hit or miss but the place is so cool

This is a cute little jewel of a caberet of a nightclub. I cannot think of anything else like it in Denver. Gorgeous foyer and then downstairs to an intimate space for entertainment. Five stars for the venue and staff, itself.

ONE STAR for a recently attended show: Dave Shirley. It was awful. I guess the free tickets from Debbie's Deals (Channel 7) should have been the red flag. I don't like to "look a gift horse in the mouth" but we sat through an hour of extremely DULL entertainment. It is an hour that I will never get back.

It was billed as "Monty Python, Charlie Chaplin and Saturday Night Live" but it fell quite short of anything remotely funny. Hardly anyone was laughing except out of sympathy or boredom. It was bad. We had to leave early. I could not subject myself or my husband to that kind of misery (sorry!)

I've been to Lannie's a handful of time at this point and I have always has a fantastic time!  I've seen magic shows, I've seen drag shows, I've seen burlesque shows and they're all top-notch.  All of the servers that work here are great too!

What is really fun is that in almost all of the shows there is audience participation and during one of the recent shows I went to, I got pulled up onto stage.  The audience interaction and camaraderie it builds with the other patrons is great.  I'm not always the first to strike up a conversation with strangers, but after getting up on stage, several people chatted with me during intermission which was a way to meet great fun people.

Based on what I've seen people travel from CO Springs and further to go to shows here and there is good reason.  The place also seems to be a hot-spot for birthday parties and bachelorette parties!

Tickets for shows are moderately priced and if you're local, it's worth dropping your business card in their vase at checkin for an opportunity to get free tickets (which I've won a time or two.)

Wow! What a treat this place is! The ladies took me here as one of the many stops for my bachelorette party. This was certainly the highlight of the night! This is a fun thing to do with your girlfriends, your boyfriend or your hubby. The performers are magnificent. The show is super sexy but not raunchy. The drinks are fantastic here and the appetizers are a perfect late night snack to accompany drinks and a great show. I had so much fun and I can't wait to go back!

If you are looking for a show that is artful, sexy and funny this is the place! I would highly recommend you make reservations as this place gets busy!

Such a cute fun plac3. We went for Halloween and were rolling on the floor, laughing....JFK it pretty tiny/ jam packed. No room to roll.

Would absolutely return. These girls are great! And the MC, high-Larios.

Con- the champagne bottle we ordered was garbage. Though we paid a premium for it.

Beautiful interior in this theater.  Located in the lower level of yes.... a clocktower.  Is a gorgeous little cabaret club.

I went to see the Vivas Las Divas show (a drag show) and it was hilarious.  After the show, the ladies stayed and took pictures with the audience.

They have a small menu of bites and desserts.  Our waitress was very attentive, especially considering there was a show going on.   We had the dipping trio and the cheese medley.  Both were very good.

I understand the club is owned by a burlesque dancer and if I lived in Denver, I would definitely check out one of her shows or the other shows they have.

    What a hidden gem!

I attended the saturday night burlesque show here. The show was prompt and the facility was beautiful! No smoking, which is GREAT IMO.

The show was fun, the belly dancer was the highlight of the show. She's AMAZING!

The only down side to this place, is the fact that the patrons can get VERY obnoxious during the show. Most show up intoxicated in the first place. When you add in more alcohol and partially naked women, ugly things can happen.

I went to Lannie's show "Under Paris Skies" on a Saturday night and it was great! We called ahead and were able to reserve a table for 11 of us for my friends birthday.

The space was small and had a great ambiance. Very much a 1920's-1940's underground club. Even though it was crowded you could still see the show.

Lannie was a fabulous performer and even gave our friend some special shutouts  her show when we let them know it was her birthday. Lannie also gave her 2 free tickets to her next show!!!

The music and band were wonderful. Lannie has a great voice and the band was very talented. The lead guitarist did a song using just two finger to play which was really cool to see.

We didnt order any food but the drinks were pretty good. Slightly overpriced for nothing too special though. Our cocktail waitress also wasn't the most friendly.

I was surprised to see the crowd was a lot older than I expected. Most were over 30 and in into their late 60's & 70's.

Overall I would definitely go back with friends, family, or even a first date!

I saw Lannie's Under Paris Skies on a Saturday night.  The space there is really great, a small, intimate room that's well decorated and lit.  My cocktail (a manhattan) was pretty well made, and they have an pretty ok selection of bottled beer considering how small the place is.  The food menu looked pretty average (though, frankly, the fact that two out of ten "appetizers" contain truffle oil seems like they're not only trying a bit hard but also not being particularly creative), though I can't speak to the quality of it as I didn't eat.  The service was good, pretty fast and efficient, but I would point out that it was a pretty slow night.  (A note, the servers are apparently NOT allowed to be on the floor when Lannie is performing, so if she's in the middle of a long song don't expect your drink any time soon!) The staff was also very friendly and talented--the petite hostess at one point deftly ushered out two apparently drunk and unticketed men who seemed to have wandered downstairs and into the show, and then later during intermission skillfully hoisted around a giant box of Lannie's CDs that were for sale.

Anyway, on to the performace: considering that the performer is the Cabaret's namesake and owner, I expected an over-the-top great show.  Even though it started a bit late (they may have been waiting for more people to come in, as it was probably only at about 60% capacity?), the opening act was good--a woman spinning in a ring suspended above the stage and contorting herself through, over, and around it (not sure what they're called), of the kind one might see at a Cirque du Soleil show or a Devotchka concert.  She was definitely very talented, even though it seemed like she kindof lost steam occasionally when the spinning would slow to a near crawl (a side note: she is apparently the person running and starring in "Midnite Martini's Sexy Circus Sideshow" which plays at Lannie's for the Friday late show at 11pm).

Lannie came out a few minutes after, and the first thing I noticed was that I she was not loud enough.  Whoever was controlling the volume on the sound system had her voice turned down way too much, and the music could have been a bit louder as well.  Granted, I was sitting in the way back, but considering how small the place is I don't think it was much better up front (i.e. 10 feet away from me).  Despite this, the show was good.  Lannie has an ok (not incredible, not terrible) voice, and she sang some great tunes, among them Nature Boy and La Vie en Rose.  The musicians, on the other hand, were INCREDIBLE!!  Ian Hutchison, who I have seen play at cocktail hour jazz in the Brown Palace lobby, is a very talented bass player, Elliot Reed is an amazing lead guitarist, and the fiddler (whose name I didn't catch) was quite good as well.  I can't say enough good things about the musicians--the music really made the show, though again it was not loud enough, and I'm not just saying this because I've listened to loud music on my headphones for too long--I could clearly hear people's footsteps as they were walking around on the tile floor in the back of the room (not even in loud shoes).

Finally, I am still a bit confused about the Paris theme.  According to Lannie, the show is inspired by Django Reinhardt's famous Paris jazz club, and she did cover a French song and "I Love Paris", and the servers were all wearing black and white striped shirts and berets (and there was Lannie's silly Eiffel-tower adorned hat). Maybe it's because, as a member of a "younger" generation, I'm not as familiar with the music (which Lannie condescendingly pointed out several times during the show) as supposedly some of the other attendees were, but I know a fair amount about jazz, and many of the songs were regular old American jazz classics, so the whole Parisian skies thing seemed like a bit of a stretch.

Overall, I think the space is great, the service is good, and I would definitely go back and see another show there.  Still, I have to give it only three stars, as I thought that Lannie's performance was mediocre.  However, they have a lot of different shows here, many of which look very good, so I would still recommend going to anyone who's interested in seeing some original live shows in Denver.

Super fun, tasteful and a night to remember! I went with my parents and really had no idea what to expect. It was such a great night! The host was a blast and kept us laughing all night. The ladies were all different and I really enjoyed the "love of the woman's body" theme throughout the show. It was nice not to see stick thin models with "add ons" all night.
The waitress was really attentive which we appreciated because it was a packed house.

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to do something more fun than dinner and a movie. My only regret is that my boyfriend was out of town and couldnt join in on the fun!

Naughty Pierre's Burlesque Show was so much fun!  I am a little biased though b/c we know the owners and got to attend for free, sit with them and have drinks on the house.  However, I would happily go back b/c it was a great time.  Pierre is a hilarious mc and the ladies are amazing performers.  I was also very impressed with the magician.  He came around during intermission and I was shocked by the card trick he performed.

All in all, a lot of fun!  They have great packages for birthdays and bachelorette parties.  There were 4 bachelorettes there the night we went and they were definitely enjoying themselves.

A girlfriend of mine wanted to go to Lannie's for her birthday and we were more than happy to oblige. Classy ladies, hilarious MC, swanky digs? Definite Thursday-night win.

I had never been to a burlesque show, so I wasn't sure what to expect.... whatever my notions were, Lannie's far exceeded them. What a blast!

I was really impressed with the artistry of all the ladies and they made the show so much fun. Naughty Pierre was a wonderful host and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment.

The libations on offer were as lovely as the setting, and I definitely enjoyed my fair share. I didn't partake in any of the food options, but everything from apps to zerts looked delicious.

We paid $25 for the VIP package (for my friend's birthday we got front-row seats and tiaras/bowler hats) which seems pretty reasonable. The drinks were slightly expensive, but not terribly overpriced. They were strong enough to make the $9-$12 worth it.

Seriously, I don't know how I lived in Colorado for five years without being to Lannie's, but now that I've been I can't wait to go back!

Lannie's is a swanky, sophisticated cabaret bar, which looks the part magnificently. The stage shows are most excellent and the sound is mixed perfectly.  It's a great room to see a small show. and because of that sells out easily. Get your tickets ahead of time!

Unfortunately, I can only give them 3 stars, because the customer service is lackluster. At a recent show we attended to see a friend perform, they sat people from another reservation with our reservation, and in the middle of the performance, made more of our party move to a different area of the room to accommodate strangers with their seats. And though I was only able to obtain one drink order, my bill was combined with people I did not come with, but was sat at the same table with, and neither group was given opportunity to split the check. I also heard the people up one level behind me complain about the rudeness of the waitstaff. So, it wasn't just us.

However, Lannie herself seemed like a lovely hostess, and the entertainment was nothing short of superb. With some customer service training for the staff, this would be one of Denver's best venues.

    Flawlessly fantastic.

Oh Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways:

    1. Atmosphere - Perfect.  This club looks exactly the way a cabaret club should.  Dark, sensual, twinkling, beautiful.  From the design and layout, to the original artwork, to the hand-tiling on the rail seating, to the glasswork, everything here contributes to the perfect mood of the room.  The staff even dresses to fit the concept of each show.  FUN!!!

    2. Drinks - Delicious.  Well-poured, great selection.

    3. Food - Oh. My. God.  The menu is fantastic.  It isn't a supper club, but there are a bunch of wonderful appetizers and desserts.  The use of truffle oil is very impressive, and the food prices are very low for this type of club, and this type of food.  I would like to be buried alive in their edamame (with truffle oil, parmesan and imported black sea salt), so that I might eat my way out.

    4. Entertainment - Professional, high-quality and always entertaining.  As a performer, this is one of my very favorite places to play.  The shows are run tight and right.  The casts are professional, acts are well-rehearsed and passionately performed.  No bullsh*t gets onstage here, there are no weak spots in the shows.

Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, thank you for doing it right!

What a fun place to come for an evening of unique entertainment! I had never been to a burlesque show before, and Lannie's was a great place to start. The show we saw last Christmas was fun and light hearted, and all of the stage show participants were a joy to watch. I love how they are able to mix humor into this sexy stage show.

Lannie's clocktower is a great treat for date night or for a night out with your girlfriends. I would love to come back again for another show.

Half naked ladies, champagne cocktails and noisemakers...oh my!

That's right, Lannie's offers all of the above, which pretty much guarantees a good time! Was there last month with a group of Yelp CM's and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Probably a little TOO much, as I spilled an entire drink on Johnny T (sorry Johnny!), yet ordered another :)

I have been to several burlesque shows in my day. And I'm not embarrassed to admit it. Nothing wrong with appreciating a beautiful woman... Anyhoo, the gals at Lannie's were pretty impressive. Their routines were well rehearsed and their costumes went well with their individual performances. My personal favorite? The moon landing, complete with helmet and white go-go boots (gotta love them go-go boots!).

I would agree that the show went on a little too long. Perhaps if each girl only did one routine, people wouldn't lose interest so quickly? The emcee didn't bother me too much, but he was a bit crass so beware. And if a room full of noisemakers bothers you, this isn't your kind of place!

Other than that, I really had a great time!

The caliber of cabaret here was actually quite top notch...

    Plusses:
-Beautiful women that don't appear to be hookers/strippers/tramps.
    *Talented, to boot!
-Confidence/charisma from chicks that look REAL. Bonus!
-$15 ticket for 3 hour show: Good value.
    -Quirky venue.

    Minuses:
-Obnoxious Host is crude. I'm not "sensitive," but I wouldn't bring mixed company up in here for fear of offending them.
-The Ice Cream Sundae "for two" was pretty....not good.
-Drink selection is a little weak.
-Show is about 1.5 hours too long!

Tip: Go for half the show, then skip out for drinks elsewhere...$15 is still a great value, and the chicks are not to be missed. HOT!

When given the option of attending a burlesque show while in Denver last week, it was a no-brainer - I was totally in!  It was after the fact that I found out the show was three hours long.  Isn't that a bit much for a burlesque show?  I thought so...

And it was more of a variety show than just a burlesque show.  I did enjoy the first half- particularly the dancers.  The comedy and other *talent* I could've done without.  I left with a few others that seemed to have ADD (see Andrea R's review) at intermission.

During the time I spent at Lannie's, I will say that our waitress was great, it was fun to have noisemakers, and the ice cream sundae for two was quite delicious although a bit skimpy on each of the variety of toppings it came with.  (I did share the sundae with Colleen; i didn't eat it all by myself).

If you're in Denver and looking for something unique to do, check out Lannie's... just make sure you and your date, companion, posse, etc... are all on the same page and you know ahead of time how long the show will be!  It is quite entertaining!

While I've never been officially diagnosed, I'm known to be a bit ADD. And sitting thru any show for 3 hours can drive me absolutely bonkers.  When the show happens to have a slightly annoying host it can really drive ya insane.

However, it wasn't all bad at Lannie. The good:
    * Our waitress (who had the most impressive cleavage I've ever seen) brought us a tasty bottle of champagne
    * My colleagues bought me a tiara to wear and I LOVE tiaras (it's a princess thing). It was my lucky night cause those wearing tiaras were given a special shot from the bartender. Mine tasted like cough syrup. Ick
    * Some of the burlesque acts were quite entertaining...my favorite was the ariel dancer.

I left with a few of my other ADD colleagues at intermission, but I was told that the 2nd half of the show was better.....or perhaps it was all that champagne that made it extra fun.

I had fun here on Halloween!  A burlesque/comedy show is way cooler than aimlessly wandering around Pearl St with all of my limbs body-painted a different, sticky color, and then sitting down at Hapa and eating a weird, marshmallow-based Halloween sushi roll, which is what I did last year.

There were some awesomely mind-boggling acts - women who danced while wrapped up in spinning cocoons, shimmied while balanced on the lips of coffins, swayed while dressed up as 'The Blob'... and of course there was the good old fashioned striptease-while-walking-on-stage-in-high-heels, too.  And let's not forget the token male!

I fully accept the 'prude' label for my favorite act being the comedian who, in a totally nonsexual way, unexpectedly vacuumed up the plastic bags he was juggling out of the air with a Dustbuster.

The overall experience left me actively wondering how any woman can possibly make her nipple tassels swing in opposing circles!

I guess I'm spoiled by Vegas.

The place was cute and our server was great, but the show itself was aaaight.

Girls come out, dance a little with a prop, undress and shake their paisley pasted boobs and that's it. Over and over again. The show was lame....
The only difference is the size of the ass and boobs.

Not the best Denver has to offer visitors, I hope....

Simply the best possible bachelorette party I could have ever hoped for. I was afraid I'd be dragged out to be covered in stripper sweat, but Nuclia Waste, Portia Potty, Iona Trailer and Gabbriella Butz'In of the Demented Divas were better than I thought possible! The drinks were great and I think we had snacks, but I'll be honest all my attention was trained on the stage from the moment the girls stepped on to it.

A raucous evening of dancing, singing (of the lip-sync variety), and belly busting guffaws and giggles! These Demented Divas spoofed Mary Poppins, Julia Child, Madonna and so many more! Each parody was uproarious. I was sad when the evening was over. The servers were great and the ladies were so very gracious to pose for photos after the show and listen to our fawning praise.

I've always been fascinated by burlesque, and have watched quite a bit on electronic media, but had never gone to a live show. A friend took me to Lannie's last week for my birthday, and we were joined by a few of our other friends.

The room is gorgeous - opulent and rich, with a side of slightly cheesy mixed in - perfect.

We had cocktails (they don't skimp on the booze in your drinks here - but they don't overdo it, either - I had a perfectly mixed White Russian) and some munchies. The hummus and  baba ghanoush were just lovely. My friend asked for extra olives, and we were brought an entire martini glass full of them, in addition to the ones served with the platter. The basket of pita triangles went quickly, and the waiter promptly brought us more when asked. We followed that with the smoked trout. We were a little trepitious, since sometimes smoked trout can be mushy, but it was fantastic. There were only three crackers served with the trout, but I'm sure the waiter would have brought us more had we asked - but we were stuffed at that point.

And on to the meat of the matter: the show. The show was absolutely delightful. The dancers were all incredibly talented, and even more importantly, seemed to be enjoying what they were doing. We laughed and clapped and gasped and hooted and hollered.

I will definitely be going back to Lannie's, and I will be recommending it to friends. It was an incredible bargain for a whole evening of fun.

Lannie's Clocktower has been voted best first date by Westword on multiple occasions and for damn good reason! I myself have personally been to the burlesque night on about ten separate occasions and every single time was not only fresh, sexy and funny as hell, but forever fun and entertaining! Picture this, a dashing man, dressed in his finest tux and a gorgeous lady in her most luxurious evening gown; together they walk arm in arm along 16th street mall towards the towering beacon of pure awesomeness.. well.. you don't really have to imagine it, but seriously, for me, it has ALWAYS been that epic and that romantic.

So once you step inside the Clocktower, you descend a small staircase, if you're a few minutes late, you'll not only meet the doorperson for your cover fee ($10-$20 a person depending on the event, reservations also available for special engagements) you'll also probably be greeted by laughter, whoops and hollers and Cab Calloway playing in the background, as some voluptuous young thing dances on a modest stage; but don't expect to see anything smutty! This isn't THAT kind of cabaret, it's tasteful, tantalizing and beyond all else, timeless. The room itself is gorgeous, decorated like some wild 1930's smoking room or a tiki lounge and although the drinks can be a little pricey, they are SO worth it, be sure to ask one of the servers for a "PINEAPPLE SLAMMA!" It's my favorite.

Classy dolls and good drinks not your thing? Then go for the comedy, depending on the night Pierre Jean Pierre St. Pierre, (Your loveable, 'heteroflexible' host) will have you in stitches all night long, whether it be with ribald joke telling, or naughty puppets, this man has talent; Ask him to "Yoogle" his balls for you sometime. Interaction is a must, shout, share a joke, laugh, whistle, scream and feel free to hang out with the performers after the show, they're all amazing and ALWAYS in character (Method acting at it's best!)

Lannie's Clocktower has a jam-packed schedule that has something for everyone, which you can view on their shmancy little website. The Voluptuous Vivian Vavoom even offers burlesque workshops on occasion (Not on the same night, of course), giving any guy or doll the opportunity to make a costume, learn the moves and maybe even be a star! But don't expect to see me up on the stage, shaking my ass anytime soon. Jazz, swing, big band, lovely ladies, classy gents, drag queens, dancing, "boy-lesque", spirits, tassels, comedy, delicious food and a whole lotta class awaits you at Lannie's, you can't go wrong!

We decided to check this out, after a year of talking about it and I'm GLAD we did!!
I was there the night of the drunk bachelorette and the guy with the wig that was celebrating his birthday!  It was GREAT times!   It was seriously non stop entertainment and it was so much fun.  At first I was a little skeptical about sitting so close to other people, I have this thing, where I dont like people I don't know sitting by me.  But, they turned out to be awesome!  They were celebrating her birthday, had been married for 20 years and it was where they had their first date! (Of course it wasn't Lannies then, even better they said)
Pierre was flippin' hilarious! .  But every  single girl was just phenomenal!  We were trying to get in there for New Years Eve, but we were too late, the tickets sold out.
    DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

Now THIS is entertainment! I kept thinking to myself, watching each performance. I was amused, enticed, and enchanted! Gorgeous ladies, horribly funny gags, and double ententes filled the air (literally, the air performance was fantastic!)
This was location four on the Night of Living.  I am so glad we stopped in!  The burlesque here is racy, and exciting! This was the perfect eye candy, and a place to grab a really tasty snack. So necessary to help buffer the system on an extended evening like this from the drinks which were strong and yummy.
My first time here, but not my last. The room is opulent, sumptuous, inviting the senses to explore her curves, her shadows. To linger a little....
Erotic and Elegant! I Can't wait to return!

I went back last night for the late night burlesque and got free lessons on some burlesque moves which I was then required to show off on stage. It was hilarious to watch I'm sure. This place is always worth the entrance cost.

I also shared an antipasto plate with my table and it was simple, but good. And while the drinks I prefer (champagne or martinis) are a bit costly, they aren't more expensive than any other classy bar and beers are relatively cheap considering the neighborhood and setting.

Also, I have a crush on Fanny Spankings and want her red sparkling lipstick. Anyone know where I can get it?

So yeah... Lannie's... I have never been to a burlesque show before so I didn't know what to expect. Sure, I've read the reviews from my fellow Yelpers, but you know what. It's not the same as experiencing it. A friend of mine has gone the past couple of weekends to the show, mainly because we happen to have another co-worker, Gigi, who sings during the show. So after hearing her talk about it and then the UYE that was set up, I figured it was time to go check out what everyone else has talked about. And I am VERY happy that I did.

So yesterday rolls around and night fell, we bundled up and headed downtown to Lannie's. When I got there, I didn't realize that the show was held under the clocktower, shows how much I pay attention. Just as we walked downstairs, we say that our friends had just arrived themselves, the four of us bought our tickets and then headed to get some drinks. Afterward we came back to find ourselves a nice little booth with a nice view of the stage. My fellow Yelpers were there to and had got a table in the second row. Although I liked sitting where I was with my friends, I could see how much more fun they were having and really wished I had sat with them. Oh well... I ordered myself a cocktail and enjoyed the show and what an entertaining one it was. All the ladies had really fun little shows that they put on. I had my favorites and I know Sheri knew which ones they were Ha ha ha :D

The show was well worth it's admission price. My cocktail however wasn't. It tasted like watered down fruit punch, while my friends cocktails were quite strong. Bummer. :( However the fact that Sheri was able to get herself a shot that came with a tiara which was pretty cool.

The highlight was a toss up between seeing Ms Tiffany, the shitfaced bachelorette and other girls dancing up on stage and the bachelorette's little impromptu top removal (which we have on video) and the rest of the Yelpers dancing up on stage post show. I highly suggest going to this show and certainly if you've got the group that went that night. I hope to go again sometime, such a fun night :)

First you have an amazing room - sure it's the basement, but you quickly forget this, as you settle in, surrounded by velvet, and chandeliers.  Next, you have some really yummy, fancy (and slightly pricey) drinks and munchies.  The dips and pita are really tasty and are brought to you promptly by super nice and efficient servers. I fell in love with this place even before the show started.

Larry Wagner comes out to the grand piano and starts playing while people are still getting settled.   When Pierre Jean Pierre St. PIerre and No No Nannette come out, the crowd goes crazy.  Many people in the room are regulars and they know what's coming.  The jokes are so bad, they are good, and No No offers to make your face disappear all night for free.

Finally to the performers - you get to see torch singers, jugglers, magicians, belly dancers, comedians, and of course the airelaists, and burlesque dancers.  Fanny Spankings with her assles (tassels on her butt), Orchid Mei with her 14 inch waist, and my all time favorite Charlie Champale the boylesque dancer will make you scream.  But the best part of the night is seeing the girls of Oracle Dance perform.  Adrienne and Alex do the aireal performances and it's simply breath taking to watch them

All this for just $15.  How can you go wrong??!
