There are not many lanes, only 12. It's dark and the music is horrible. I've bowled at better places that were much cheaper and had better management. This Lucky Strikes location is one of the worse of this companies. The service is slow but are nice. Overall, I would recommend bowling at a different ally.
Review Source:Lucky Strike is not your average bowling alley, combining a bit of flair with their disco lights, Top 40s hits and nightclub atmosphere plus arcade. Â A very affordable leisure activity if you're looking to kill some time. Â It was $4pp for the game and an additional $5 for the shoe rental. Â Those are the pros if you're seeking to do something a little different, but there were quite a few cons too. Â
Smells a little bit like sticky bubble gum and I didn't feel that their shoes were well-cleaned. Â It was difficult to find someone to help us and most of the staff members made it clear they really did not want to be there and that made it rather sad.
There's a cute lounge/waiting area in the front if your full party hasn't arrived yet and there's also a full bar available. Â Even with all these additions, it doesn't do much to enhance the everyday bowling experience.
This place is terrible! Â I cannot express vehemently enough how awful of an experience we had here. Â
The shoe rental attendant is clueless and should pay better attention in her math classes. Â When we rent 3 pairs of shoes, and you give 2 people their shoes, it means I get a pair... Don't tell me I am not entitled.
The lanes: Â why are they crap? Â We had to call the "manager" several times bec our ball was not returned, the score did not populate, or the frame decided to reset itself. Â (Note, she is one of several quasi-managers at the establishment)
Our waiter: Â tsk tsk tsk... never to be seen. We had to get our own drinks. Â Our food was served COLD. Â And the drinks he did manage to bring us, he did not even bother to retrieve the empty glasses.
The "manager": Â denies he's the manager when everyone else is telling us he is! Â Â Why the $5 up-charge on top shelf? Â You charged us $3 for top shelf, then an additional $2??? Â Trying to get more money? Â Perhaps he needs to attend math classes with clueless shoe-rental girl. Â
Because this place is a chain, we expected them to have a more conscientious sense of customer service. Â They were not very pleasant, and we will not be recommending this place to our friends, family, and colleagues.
