Restaurant Review
The hidden golden arch! Located behind the scenic Trump Tower and iconic Wrigley building is the fast food giant. This location is the closest one on the Mag Mile and has reasonable prices to other suburban location. Food is the same across McDonald, nothing spectacular. Service unfortunately is slow which is typical of chicago locations. This is a great pitstop for tourist who want a cheap meal.

Pro- Dollar menu, cheap compared to other food options, spectacular view outside

Con- It is McDonald after all (even the angus burger doesn't taste good anymore....)

Hidden deal- Dollar menu. Free WIFI (ATT)

Stars are given for how good your experience was, if I could this McDonald's does not even deserve a single star.

It was hot out, I came to Michigan and wanted an Iced coffee from McDonalds, I have had it before so I KNOW what it tastes like. Guy takes our order, another lady made our drinks, and they were bitter!! Nothing like what it is "supposed" to taste like. We went back told them something was wrong, Everyone kept saying 'oh we didn't make it, the other guy said I just took the order I didn't make the drink' and shrugged. 5 mins later when they found the lady who made the drink, she told the other guy to make it.

So he hands us our drinks. We asked for light ice, not "no" ice, whatever, I just walked to the pop area and put in the ice myself. We leave McDonald's and start walking, my husbands iced coffee had a shot of vanilla, now maybe the creamer went bad because it had an awful after taste to it. He just threw his drink out. 5 mins later I realized mine had a funny taste to it as well, and threw mine out as well!

What an awful experience, from our order to the service and staff!

I wish I had just gone to Starbucks, I would've paid three times more but this $5 was just an utter waste :p.

Okay I'm impressed!  I've lived in the city my whole life and I had no idea that this location existed.  I really don't eat at McDonald's anymore because I want to live longer but when kids are hungry it is an easy choice (not the best)!

We made some friends during the Disney Mag Mile street lighting and they suggested we get the kids some food after the parade. I was kind of like...there is no Golden Arch's on Michigan Ave!  Boy was I wrong.

I was really surprised at how many people knew about this location.  It was packed in here but this place could handle a crowd and fast.  They were taking orders and pumping out food like crazy. (Attention Rock and Roll McDonald's you should come here for some training). We even snagged a table too.

What I really liked was the view of the river and Trumps building from outside this location.  I will make this place a summer stop for ice cream cones!

It is so nice when you can meet new people and they show you a hidden gem right in your own city!!!
