Authentic selection of German cuisine. Appetizers and four entrees tried - all passed this guy's test. Killer beer selection never hurts.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and food was tasty. The wait for my food seemed a bit too long for being rather empty at the time, but I was still in and out in exactly one hour. I prefer Hofbrauhaus over this place; however, I will still gladly come back since it's in a convenient location for me.

Best German beer selection in the Midwest.  Whether you want a dunkel or a pilsner Mecklenburgs will take care of you.  Besides the excellent beer selection they also have wonderful German food.  I recommend getting the sauerkraut balls and a cup of Mock Turtle soup or the bier cheese.  You will not be disappointed with any of the German specialties on the menu, but if you want something different try the goetta wurst.  Outside seating is a must in the summer.
