Fries Cafe

Cheap drinks, walking distance from the medical school, and a casual atmosphere made this bar a staple in my life for two years. Check out the shuffle board table and the darts. They also have a large patio upstairs and host pig roasts and beer festivals, which are a lot of fun. Did I mention cheap drinks, and they have a happy hour.

If you are in for a neighborhood bar with an eclectic group of people and alcohol selections this is your place. Cheap as can be. Tons of games: shuffle board, pool tables, 3 that I know of, darts and a HUGE patio. And the best part... Dog friendly. I love this place

This place is great when they have good beer on tap, but the tap selection isn't always great and the prices have increased over the last year or so. However, this place is much better than your average bar.
