This place is fantastic! I have recently moved to Cincinnati from the east coast, and was desperately in search of good Indian food that's not overly expensive, and that actually has some spice to it (what's Indian food without it?). I was recommended to Deep India, which I did not like AT ALL, despite it's rave reviews on yelp and from co-workers. My friends and I walked by this place at dinnertime and saw they had a $10 DINNER (yes, I said dinner) buffet. We went in, and definitely will be back again and again!
Perfectly spiced, great selection of veg/non-veg dishes, great garlic naan but terrible regular naan. Normally, the Indian restaurants around here have awful service, but this service was wonderful! Very friendly, and actually made sure your water was full the whole time.
Seriously, perfectly-spiced dishes, great naan, friendly service, $10?? Why ISN'T everyone raving about this place??
I'm a huge fan of this place. I decided to try it on a whim, and was cautious because of the low rating. Totally unwarranted. The buffet is great, and the server was very friendly. I had chicken tikka masala, but a whole range of dishes were available (3 carts).
The inside was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised just by walking in.
The lunch buffet is just 6.99 (11a-3p) and the dinner buffet is 9.99. Compared to the other prices on Ludlow this place is great for the money (how do they even make money @6.99?!)
A real diamond in the rough - makes me question why/how some places can be low rated on yelp and be so great.
