Venue 222

Prior to receiving an wedding reception invitation with this address, I hadn't heard of Venue 222.  It was a great venue for the event.  Plenty of space downstairs for cocktails, and later, dancing.  Dinner was upstairs, and our group just fit; but it was just great.  Afterwards, it was just a short walk to the OTR bars.  Definitely a place I would recommend if you're looking for an event venue!

Venue 222 is an integral part of Over the Rhine. Not only is it beautiful but I love how this venue can bring a community together!

I've been to Venue 222 more times than I can count, but most recently for their Monster Mash Halloween Party which was fantastic. The space transformed with fog machines, spider webs, great costumes, food, booze, and fun! The owner, Wade is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is so kind and down to earth. He was even willing to help out when the popcorn machine is on the fritz ;)

I've also attended many Final Friday's here which out of ever gallery in town this one seems to have these events down to an Art (haha get it?) From the exposed brick to the effortless layout of Art work. The space promotes good conversation, and free wine and light bites, are always a crowd pleaser.

When I hear that an event is taking place at Venue 222 I know what to expect, and that is nothing less than excellence.

If you are looking to host a event for around 100 people, I dont think you will find a cooler place.  Exposed Wood Beams.  Cool art work. Some off street parking. two floors!.  Only downside was limited restrooms (looked like one of each)
