Bill's Grill and Neons go hand in hand. If your are going to Neons on a weekend night you can expect Bill's Grill to be there in your dire need to divulge in some chargrilled meat.

The obvious advantage to Bill's is its proximity to Neons...it's inside Neons, can't really get any closer than that. Located on the outside patio it is like a beacon in the night, even (and maybe especially) more so on crowded nights.

Bill, the obvious operator, hangs out all night cooking up burgers, hotdogs, and any other grilled item you may be craving. He even offers many different kinds of cheeses and might possibly have the largest selection of condiments this side of the Mississippi. Literally, if you want it, he probably has it.

You. cant expect a Terry's Turf Club burger or a Senate quality hotdog here, not to say the food still isn't delicious but that really isn't what it's meant to be. It's a quick, hot, delicious option for a lot of people that need food in their bellies before, during, or after a night of drinking. Not to mention the prices are cheap. Check out Bill's Grill (and his dog hanging out in the back) next time your at Neons. It's the most convenient way to eat a very satisfying late night meal.

Is it fancy? Of course not. Is it good? yes, but it gets better as you drink more obviously.

This is literally a grill station set up in the middle of Neon's courtyard. They do mainly burgers and dogs and have a bunch of condiments at your disposal. I'm fairly certain the burgers are the frozen sirloin patties from Costco. And, to be honest, I'm more comfortable with them going that route as opposed to having some random dude trying to handform patties outside in the middle of a humid Cincinnati afternoon.

The prices are reasonable. It's cash only, but they have an ATM inside and the bartenders can usually slap 5-10 bucks onto the tab you have running and give you the cash to buy your food. There are a bunch of restaurants in the area, but if your expectations are set low and you don't want to leave the bar, Bill's Grill will do just fine.

Nestled in the courtyard at Neon's is Bill's Grill.  The convenience of not having to go elsewhere for a bite to eat while you're enjoying a delicious craft cocktail at Neon's is great.

The menu consists of a variety of burgers, sausages and even plain 'ol hot dogs. There are meat and non-meat alternatives so there's something for everyone. One of the more popular burger options is the black bean burger. There's also a salmon burger and of course, the sirloin burger with or without your choice of cheeses. Other options include sauerkraut or onions which they actually steam in beer. I've even become a fan of the chicken sausage, thanks to Bill's Grill. All are served with a bag of either plain or barbecue potato chips- your call. And don't forget the pickle spear! Or if you're like me, two spears!

Where you can experiment and show your creativity is with the plethora of condiment options. Bill always stocks an incredible selection of mustards, hot sauces, even barbecue sauce.

Since it is outdoors, Bill's Grill is open, weather-permitting. Updates can be found on Neon's Facebook page.

Value-speaking, you can't beat Bill's Grill. You'd pay twice as much at sit-down restaurant. And you wouldn't meet Bill, who's a cool person to boot!
