Osteria Mediterrania

We really enjoyed our meal here.  The food was good, the service was attentive, the ambience was nice. We had a great vegetable soup, vegetable
crepes, salad, hanger steak, salmon, past specials, Creem brûlée. The food was presented in an appetizing fashion and made to our satisfaction. The prices were reasonable as well. I look forward to eating here again.

First advice is get there by 7 PM for the best service.

I just went last night and I have to say, the meal was delicious. I've been to Greece and I love Mediterranean food--I am not saying that this place is as good as the restaurants in Santorini, but I will say that I thought what I ordered was delicious. My husband and I shared the hummus platter which comes with babaghanoush and kalamata olives. Then we had the arugula salad with goat cheese and walnuts, which was amazing. I have never had salad with mustard in it before and now I want to try to make it at home. Lastly we had one of the specials that night which was the sole fish with garlic and lemon sauce. Again, fabulous.

There was only one waiter on staff that night and we got there early so had all of his attention. Once it got busier, I could tell he was having a hard time keeping up. They need to have at least two waiters on at night. Otherwise, everyone was very pleasant and the best part of all is that it is BYOB. I will be back, but will make sure I get there early for good service.

Been here twice now and have had terrible experiences both times. The first time the service was bad - even though it was empty - and the pasta dish I ordered was flavorless.
Went back again tonight with my family and the service was fine but the food ranged from just okay to horrible. Ordered Mac and cheese for my daughter that was basically just pasta with a lump of mozzarella thrown on it and stuck in the microwave. I got a vegetable soup that had also clearly been warmed up in the microwave. It was totally flavorless and should have been strained as there were fibers in it from the veggies. They did take it back and took it off the check but it was worse than canned soup, honestly.
Thought that because this place has been around for a couple of years now it must have improved - clearly I was wrong...
