One of the best kept secrets as far as downtown Harrisburg nightlife goes is the Hilton bar and patio. Most outdoor seating downtown is bunched and crowded but the patio at the Hilton is open, spacious, and relaxed. You're outside but it's still somewhat private, really a nice space.
The food options here are always quality; burgers and such. The Hilton has a great drink list and did I mention the free jazz? Oh, free jazz for happy hour ... can't beat it!
