This place is a joke. The place is too exquisite, for me. If you don't make at least 100,000 a year, don't come here.  If you don't like wearing suits to stripclubs do not come here. If you don't like watching  rich, old white guys, getting 10 lapdances for $10,000, do not come here. If you don't want to pay $55 for a streak do not come here.If you don't  want to pay $15 for a Budweiser and $3,000 for wine do not come here. If you don't enjoy listening to Billy Joel's Piano Man, in a stripclub, do not come here. What's crazy about this place, is that the strippers are not even good looking. They were arrogant and rude for the most part. One of the worst stripclubs, I've been to and I have been to a lot of them, as you can see. That is saying something.

Lovely lighting.  Sexy, clean atmosphere where one can dine upstairs with a view of the large stage downstairs and two smaller ones upstairs. While one stripped on the main stage, some girls danced on the small stages above her  in futuristic gold g-string bodysuits with flaired shoulders.  A Rihanna-esq style. Â
i found it interesting that the dancers wore long beautiful gowns and all moved in a slow, sensual style. Â There was NO POLE!!. Â Slow songs played (no top 40 this night) and a dancer would appear on stage moving langourously around, sliding off clothing. Â Even the lap dances contained the slow movement. Â No bumping and grinding.
We dined at a table before before  moving to a more loungy area (also with a great view) to relax and enjoy our drinks.  A cute masseuse came by and gave my friend a great neck and shoulder  massage. Â
Dancers  became more forward as the night progressed and we found some very interesting to chat with.  Being a female patron, many dances were purchased for me.  Everyone made sure I was made completely comfortable. Â
I even scored a sexy long dress like the ones  I had complimented.  i will be waiting for an event that calls for it.......... Â

It struck me as a place one would take out-of-town clients to entertain and look like da 'shit. Â Â Maybe because I saw a lot of businessmen, it's pricy, classy, and has naked women you can beckon over to sit on your laps while you talk biz. Â Or however that works... Â

I recently brought a new friend to be entertained here. I choose this club, because its my understanding, the Penthouse is suppose to be the best talent in NY and features an upscale setting. My friend is a member of the black card club, I knew he wouldn't want anything but the best. So, I did feel a little stupid when we walked in and the club itself made me feel like I was in a bad 70s movie. Def not high-end, sexy, classy burlesque. More cheesy, slutty, low rent looking 'strip joint'?
Some of the girls were very, very beautiful and perfectly proportioned, but the majority didn't speak english, and my client was a little dismayed, that he couldn't talk to the girls, nor could he touch them. So we kinda sat around just staring at each other and nervously laughing. It was a little awkward even for me, haha... Â
We did find two superstars, Hot girls in their mid 20s, perfect bodies, spoke just enough english. We all went in a private room, no games, no drama, we all had fun. One of the girls did try to go in my clients pockets, and I knew he didn't have any cash, so I wasn't worried, but I did think that was a bit trashy for this sort of place.
Mo was our host. Hes great to work with. Honest, helpful, no games.
Most disappointing experience I've ever had at a club. 8 dancers for the entire night. My group was a bachelor party. We spent over 1500 on dinner at Roberts then went downstairs afterwards. The service during dinner was poor and it was amazing that we had to keep asking for them to send girls over. At one point two groups used the upstairs rooms and they only had one girl on the floor who gave massages.
I would never go to this establishment again.
We're looking for adult entertainment club to go in NYC and found this one in high rated on Yelps. Â Therefore, we came to check out.
It was so quite on friday nite around 11.30, may be too early there. Â We got seated in front of the stage and no adm fee to get in. Â
As the other yelpers mentioned, the drinks are extremely expensive!! Â $20 for 1 gin and tonic plus tips on top!! Wow.....
The dancers were nice and friendly. Â Few dancers came over to chat and asked to dance with her. Â Of coz, we couldn't dance...

What to do on a Saturday night when casual bar conversations with cute nyc girls just won't cut it? Hit up a warehouse full of strippers with your drunk buddies.
The 411:
Lots and lots of adult entertainment-esque looking dancers...i.e., big jigglies, small waistlines, borderline muscular thighs, re-constructed everything...head to toe. Â Drinks were expensive as expected.
Epilogue:
The place and the experience were just ok. Â And by just ok, I mean, you've got to work much harder to get a bunch of my $20 bills, girls.

Exactly what you would expect in terms of slightly overpriced steaks and slightly overrated girls. I personally prefer Flash Dancers over this but wanted to try the steak house with a bunch of guy friends.
It was definitely entertaining. Â FYI the Sauternes were very reasonably price outside of the 50 dollar steak price tag. Â Sides are good in portions.
Saturday the girls were okay. i would say 3 out of 10 were actually hot and there were a lot of girls who were way pass their prime age for stripping. Â It is very convenient to have the lap dances right at the table. Â The massages were great, can't complain. Â
I would say if you want to come here for the special treatment definitely expect to drop some money at the champaign room. probably about 800 - 1000 a pop so expect to spend big. if you don't want to spend big then go to a slightly more local establishment for your fun. Â You'll get more bang for your buck, literally.
The girls are really hot. Â Expect to drop a lot of money. Â The dancers are extremely, extremely friendly. Â I mean women are drawn to me naturally, so I'm not sure if you'd have the same luck.
And I'm not joking. Â The steakhouse is great. Â Very expensive, but the food was well prepared. Â I recently fulfilled my dream here. Â I always wanted to have a steak in one hand and a stripper giving me a lap dance in the other. Â This was achieved. Â Having said that, I will never eat at a strip club ever again probably.
Bottom line: Hottest strippers in New York. Â Most money you will ever spend at a strip club. Â If you're charming and decent looking, you'll get far. Â That last sentence is just good advice in life really.
Lots of fun here. Drinks were not watered down at all. Guests were not the friendliest of people and we had a minor altercation but it was resolved by security and the good times rolled on. I must say that $125 for a private dance was a bit much but it was shockingly a hands on experience ;)
I really appreciated the lack of scars. This was not their B team. Will definitely be back here with my girlfriend!
Coat me in glitter, give me champagne, buy me a lapdance. I LOVE this strip club! The girls are the most beautiful babes, in my opinion, in the NYC strip scene. The managers Mo and Michael are the sweetest guys, and are amazing hosts whenever I visit. The girls are friendly, sweet and generous with their time and moves. Not to mention Robert's Steakhouse is just delicious- and I've been a fan ever since I read Frank Bruni's NY Times review.

Very classy buildout and the doormen are all amicable and friendly.. The chick in coat check was hot and had a sweet bubble on her. Banged a bunch of dancers who work here, trust me there all a good time. Steakhouse upstairs is sweet, the design and layour of this place is awesome.
If you want to meet them without paying the exboritant back room prices I suggest Pacha around the block or one of the other numerous after hour spots.. One thing is certain you will see some nice dime pieces here and hell Id rather stop by and have a drink at Penthouse than hangout in some Irish shanty bar.
Penthouse is not a bargain. In fact none of the strip clubs in manhattan are. Like the apartments these places dont offer much and you definitely have to pay to play here. A beer is 11-12 bucks, drinks are 17-20, save your money, either drink before walking in here or do drugs. Than use the twentys you just saved for lap dances with the dirtiest animal in the place. Try to meet her when she gets off her shift, at this point she will be high/liquored up and willing to play with the old meat stick.
Great place for a quick drink, but still reminds me of why Atlanta has way better strip clubs.
Ok...ok...ok. Another strip club review. I have tried not to review the Penthouse Exec Club for a long time but now I must let it out.
First of all, everyone that knows me, knows very well, (say it in unison)... "Willis HATES Strip Clubs!" If you've read my review on the cultural phenomenon known simply as "Smiles", you pretty much get the idea.
When I'm in a strip club, I'm bored. Not really much of a breathtaking experience. If I'm rolling with the brothas and they wanna go, I 'm there...Anyway, it's my bachelor party and we're walking down 8th Ave aka PORN ALLEY and we wound up at the Penthouse Exec Club (unknown to me that it was a targeted destination) and I was impressed before we went inside. Strip club doormen wearing tuxes? We are not in the Hudson Valley anymore.
It was pretty nice inside. Mirrors everywhere (of course) and the always hot, euro-trance beats. There were A LOT of couches.. it's more of a lounge with the couches as lap dance magnets. We got word that there was a VIP room with a minimum $300 champagne purchase. We decided that the other patrons would enjoy it much better.
I personally felt, as I looked around, that I was in a casting call for Sopranos extras. There were a lot of mob boss types in that spot. What about the women you ask? I am not trying to sound like a typical alpha male by any means, but I must say that I've never been to a strip club with so many attractive dancers! It was almost sad, seeing all those pretty women thinking "Why are all of you strippers? Why no Vogue covers shoots girl?" These dancers did not look trampy at all and that was refreshing.
Last, but not least, the drinks. DAMN PENTHOUSE!! Larry Flynt needs to calm those prices down.
$12 for ONE Corona?
I can add a dollar and get a six pack of Coronas.

It IS NYC folks and it IS the West Side...at least Manhattan drinks are beyond strong and you don't need that many to feel loose. You really, really, really don't need that many...trust me.
When all was said and done, I was with my boys, acting wild, walking down 8th Ave brown-bagging the Jamesons and feeling good.
We had fun...tons of it and I forgot I was in a strip club...for 28 seconds...
The only reason I gave this place 4 stars and not 5 is because I really didn't want to take out a HEQ line of credit to get drunk...if you go here, one word...TAB.
We capped it off by hitting Mission in Chinatown. Definitely check out my review of that special, sorely missed spot.

I recently went to the Penthouse Club with a bachelor party, and I have to say that I had the MOST fun ever! Â I am a female, and yes, the bachelor party was co-ed, and we had an open bar package deal. Â We had tons of laughs, met some cool ass strippers, and though I personally didn't get any lap dances, the other people in the party totally made up for it. Â The music was great, the girls were pretty hot (some more than others, but isn't that always the case?), and the alcohol was flowing. Â I would highly recommend going here.
I don't know WHAT the problem is with the Renvie R. reviewer, obviously she is ignorant, angry, and just a complete MORON- and she is using YELP as a platform to rage against her slutastic self and douchebag boyfriend. Â Obviously this girl is some sort of trash, and completely insecure. Â If you don't like strippers and strip clubs, then what the hell are you doing there in the first place? Â Take your personal issues elsewhere and stop bashing a club because of your own personality flaws.
Bottom line, the Penthouse Club IS CLASSY (for a strip club, of course) and is a lot of fun- I suggest going with a group, it makes the night more interesting and exciting. Â Next time I am making a dinner reservation! Â I hear the food is awesome!

ordered the porterhouse on the menu which was juicy, edible and fantastic. lots of meat, couldnt finish tho because i ordered mashed pots on the side which cost like $15 just for the damn side. drinks are expensive too. $11 bucks for a beer. its so cool that  you can dine while you get a lap dance at the same time.

Following dinner at 44th & X Hell's Kitchen, the 8 of us girls walked a few blocks to Penthouse Executive for a stripper lesson that the birthday girl booked as part of the night's festivities. Â This place looks like an upscale club from the 1980s and is in desperate need of a renovation. Â Then again that's not what their main clientele are there for.
Our stripper-teacher was running late so we waited in the bar of the main showroom. Â It was early like 9:30pm so the place was empty. Â We watched two performances and like all girls, we criticized, complimented, had the fake boobs/real boobs debate and were in awe throughout. Â Some of the girls decided to take another round of shots before the lesson. Finally, Candy arrived and we headed upstairs to a private room. Â Apparently, the steak here is very good and upstairs is where the restaurant is. Â It was quite the sight - groups of guys eating dinner, some of them getting lap dances. Â And we had to snake our way between the tables to get to the private rooms area.
All I have to say is that the stripper lesson was the most ridiculous fun I've had in a while. Â It's a great bonding experience with the girls and the laughter never stopped. Â We learned about eye contact and body movement, hip hop stripping and rock stripping. Â Candy is a goddess, she is sweet, an encouraging teacher and has the most amazing body. Â
If you have 6 girls or more, you can book the stripper lesson for $25 per person and it goes for an hour. Â At the end you'll have plenty of funny stories, some new moves and a certificate certifying you as an "Exotic Stripper".
Bachelor Party!
Just recovered from my bachelor party at the Penthouse club so if you want the low-down, I'll get right to the point. Â FYI, I did the 2hr. open bar package with a minimum of 8 people needed totaling $1,024...DAMN!
Pros: The place is huge and spacious.  Very clean and super trendy decour with dancing women up top and along the sides of the space.  Women look hot wearing silky hot outfits.  The service was super friendly and on point.  Want a stripper?  They'll get her for you.  The  hispanic/latin women were off the hook...best lapdancers ever!
Cons: This place is not cheap. Â Drinks will run you about $11-17 each. Â The drinks tasted good, but for that much money you'd think they'd put a little more in. Â Some of the women, although attractive didn't know how to dance. Â Some danced more than actually sitting on your lap and, well lapdance. Â Don't expect any privacy at this place unless you want to shell out $500 for like 30min. of "special fun" Â What exactly that fun is I have no clue, but I am curious. Â Bring cash and lots of it or you'll be paying a hefty service atm charge and receive "funny money" instead. Â The asian strippers tended to stay clear of our section of asian guys for some reason. Â Guess they thought we'd know them for reason. Be specific with how many dances you want or they'll charge you more without telling you. Â Worst part? Â I had this Gwen Stefani look alike giving me a lapdance and she farted twice..or didn't wipe properly. Â It was definitely a downer. Â
Overall I had a good time. Â Will I return? Â Only if they had a 2 for 1 deal or a discounted rate...definitely a one-time thing.
*A little hint when ordering drinks through the open bar package. Â Order twice as much for each person or you'll be waiting like 15min. for a drink.
A friend had free 2-1 passes and so myself and a few other girlies went here on a Sat night over Easter weekend. Â I've gone to a few strip clubs before and so I knew what to expect. Â We went to "de-virginize" one of the girl's who had never gone to a strip club before.
The bouncer was very sweet and polite and we didn't receive any strange looks when the group of us walked in. Â We checked our coats and were escorted to our table almost front and center. Â Although there was 6 of us, none of us are big drinker's, esp me, who is allergic to alcohol. Â We were coereced into ordering a bottle/table service that cost $300! Â Goodness, for a bottle of Kettle 1 vodka and a bunch of juices?!
Service was polite and prompt. Â The dancer's were alright although some seriously needed to take dancing lessons! Â It was quite hilarious watching some just stand stock still onstage. Â Besides a few that were attractive, most of the performer's were avg w/tiny waists and HUGE implants! Â
I honestly would never go to these places, esp w/the insane cover. Â Would I go back? Â Nah, not my thing and only a one time event.
Mmm.. Shag now or later? Top notch Upscale club for gentlemen's thou women's are allowed. Â At the pent house you have your choice of classy,Sensationalistic, promiscuous ladies. Â Men have their pleasure palace all right here with strippers, streaks, Â sports, drinks, lots of eye candy. Â Need I say more? Different theme rooms if you have $$$ or you can just sit and relax in the open lounge area. Admission is $20. Ladies can learn how perform the most seductive, sexiest strip tease, lap dancing, etc... Â Â anything that can turn up some heat.
