In short, Pita Pit is an interesting concept, but is gratingly annoying in its execution.

I ordered the Garden Pita, my wife one of the "Morning Glory" breakfast pitas. It turns out they do the Subway select-your-ingredients thing. I had to tell them every single thing I wanted on my Garden Pita, right down to the type of pita bread. As a result I can't tell you if the "Garden Pita" is any good or not, as I have no way of knowing if you'll be ordering anything remotely close to what I ordered.

This was repeated with the Morning Glory pita, even though its supposed ingredients were clearly listed on the menu.  For example, avocado was listed as an ingredient. Still, they asked "do you want Avocado?" YES. You know, THAT'S WHY SHE ORDERED IT. Because the menu said it has avocado. WHICH IS WHY SHE ORDERED *THAT* PITA, RATHER THAN SOME OTHER BREAKFAST PITA WHICH DOESN'T HAVE AVOCADO. Seriously, why even bother putting ingredients on the menu if you're not going to follow them?

The Garden Pita was good. (The veggies seemed fresh and crisp.) The Morning Glory Pita was OK. Your results may vary, of course, depending on what ingredients you select.

This place is such a simple concept, but they execute it so well! I always get the chicken slovaki pita, which is delicious, light and they're happy to customize it however I want. They've got more meaty options available for my husband. The set up is sort of similar to Subway, but they cook whatever meat you select fresh in front of you on a grill before you select your veggies and sauce. Unlike many other quick food choices at MOA, nothing on the menu (that I've noticed at least) is deep fried, which is refreshing. Overall: simple and yummy. Our go-to place for food when we end up at MOA.

It's not a Pita Pocket! It's a Pita burrito or a Pita Wrap! Yes, it's a new addition to the food court @ MOA. Yes, the MOA is my favorite mall...because of the food court, which I love because of the variety of inexpensive healthy, delicious and filling "fast food" options. Pita Pit has recently been a welcome healthy addition to my rotation of fast food healthy yummy low-cost meals...on days I don't feel like cooking or on days I'm out and about.  I don't think you can find better value and incredibly fresh food. Imagine Subway with real meat and fresh creative ingredients.  I'm also sodum sensitive so another reason that I really like going to Pita Pit is that I can  read the nutritional menu before making my selections. See their menu, I just added for their business page. I hope more locations open up. Crossing my fingers!
