I luv this place!! No I do not order anything off the menu but I LUV LUV LUV their salad bar!! There's this thing going on (as quietly as it's kept because I didn't see it on the menu) for the all-you-can-eat salad/pizza bar, $6.95/person. The server told me it's only until 3pm so I got in there about 145pm on Sunday. Even though the salad bar is small, it's still nice. They got this ranch dressing that is so good you can just DRINK it!! I luv their Caesar Salad.
They also put out different kinds of their pizza on the buffet too, and the pasta. Now to me, the pasta is very bland, not enough sauce, cheese or seasonings. But then again they are catering to the masses. But everything else is good.
The service: GREAT!! Someone was ALWAYS around. Never had to get up and find anyone to ask for a soda refill. Since they don't want you to use the same plate twice, you have to get a new one each time, but by the time we got back to our table, the used plates were gone. Nice!! Nothing in the way of me getting my grub on.
No one sticks around your table bothering you.
I like the table all the way in the back on the west end of the joint, on the Western Ave. side. Nice touch for the flatscreen tv's in there.
And sometimes (as funny as it can be), you get a little bit of soap opera central while you're at the salad bar. I can hear (and see) the crew in the kitchen eating and talking about who the baby's daddy is!! I can't help but giggle. For me, it's just a fun atmosphere.
So since you know it's not Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or even IHOP, you're not gonna be looking for some higher end service and cuisine. It is what it is...pizza hut. Don't expect much except to get a buffet and feed your face, feed it for cheap, walk away with a big smile and a full gut.
I wish I could rate this place 0 or -1 stars but I guess that isn't an option. Â
I just placed an order at 6:45pm and was given 2 estimates saying I'd get my order by 7:18pm. Â Well, 7:18 came and went and I decided to give them a call. Since it was such a short estimate, I thought "ok if they're 5-10 minutes, no big deal." Â The oh-so-gracious woman on the phone proceeded to tell me that she had "called" and "left a message" right after my confirmation email came through to tell me the pizza would actually be delivered around 8:30pm. Â HUH? Â
So, i went on to have a very confusing conversation about how it doesn't make any sense that I was given one estimate, but then was "called" to be updated that the pizza would actually take an extra 1hr15min. Oh, and by the way, I am using "called" in quotes because I was never in fact called. Â Anyway, then the lady explains to me that of course I couldn't get my pizza on time because there are 8 other orders being delivered right now. Â OH, and they hadn't actually even started processing my order yet. HUH?
In conclusion, I ordered a pizza at 6:45, there was absolutely nothing being done about it around 7:30pm, and they decided I wouldn't get my order until almost 2 hours after I originally placed it. Â I ended up canceling this order and placing another pizza order through Dante's Pizzeria which I got at 8:08pm, more than 20 minutes earlier than Pizza Hut decided they'd let me have my pizza.
DON'T ORDER FROM HERE.
