Just went here for my best friend's birthday bash last weekend. Â We had a party of 8 people and had VIP/bottle service. Â When we got there we were seated and ordered our bottles. Â My biggest complaint is that our waitress was not very helpful as far as mixing our drinks for us. Â I just feel that if you are dropping a bunch of money, they should mix your drinks for you. Â The owner stopped in and introduced himself and sent over shots. Â The DJ was really great, mixing up new and old stuff. Â The waitress at the bar downstaris was quite pleasant and gave us a lot of good stuff! Â Another downfall is that the bathrooms are downstairs and the steps are very dangerous after some drinking! Â Overall, a very pleasant evening, indeed!
Review Source:Great bartenders make or break a lounge - and this place has AMAZING service. Â The manager is a great person - and very welcoming to the crowd. Â Door service is great and unpretentious with no cover usually.
Drink menu is elaborate and well priced, as well as all as having an all inclusive well thought out Martini menu.
Overall I'd recommend this place for happy hour or to start out the evening.
Privado is the most attractive party venue I've seen in Harrisburg so far, no doubt.
We got in quickly, and without issue. (There wasn't much of a line, but it was late, anyhow. No cover that I recall.) The main floor was crowded with sexy partygoers and all of the seating - and there was quite a bit - was taken up. Our group headed downstairs to a small, cave-like room, where we met with more friends. We lounged, we danced - the DJ played house tunes, and kept us all bouncing.
Each floor has a fully-stocked bar. I remember chatting briefly with someone from Deloitte, before I was whisked away elsewhere. Thanks to my friend for buying me a beer that I didn't finish!
I was very happily surprised with Prive. Â Went here with Mia and was amazed because I must have walked past this place dozens of time during the day never knowing this was a lounge. Â The interior is stark and simplistic with a white motif .... bringing memories of white parties. Â Unlike the decor, the crowd is diverse (central PA humor here LOL) and the music was decent. Â There is a cute little downstairs room with a DJ and another bar.
I am bummed that I didn't see Mia's review before because I definitely want to try the pineapple upside down martini. Â And since I didn't plan on going there, I felt a little underdressed. Â Downtown is definitely getting more interesting and I am definitely going back!
Amazing ambience, pristine white with clouds floating by on flat screens. Â Prive is Harrisburg's socialite spot. Â Paradoxical? Â Maybe, but it's the nicest thing we've got.
A lot of bars have tried to make it in this little venue - most notibaly the Cabana place... Great drinks... lame atmosphere. Â Prive is an almost successful at something posh, playing house and seducing me with their amazing martinis and gorgeous environment.
This is definitely not the place to go for a Miller Lite, but if your tastes are a bit more refined, I recommend the pineapple upside down martini. Â Delightfully sweet, without being overwhelming - and a graham cracker rim on the glass! Â It's definitely a dessert experience for the alcoholic! Â They've also got the Big Boy/Girl martini - 25$ for a martini in a huge glass that's sure to get you pissy!
