After visiting LA I have become a self serve yogurt fan, but I was (very sadly) underwhelmed here. Â While they do have many more flavors to choose from than Pinkberry (like cake batter, wild cherry, red velvet) the consistency of the yogurt was really watery and I felt like it was all half melted by the time I brought it to the counter. Â Their topping selection looks large, but also seems fairly limited once you really look at it. Â There are like 8 different kinds of mochi, but they're lacking in the rest of the candy department. Â
As much as I would love to support the local fro yo place, my heart still belongs to Pinkberry!
I eat Fro-yo a lot. This is by far my least favorite spot to get the cold treat in River North/Loop. Been there twice and both times the yogurt came out super watery at first. The texture is off, and I'm not a picky eater. All the other fro-you places are just plain better than this one. The .45/oz pricing is typical, however, I think they weigh the cup (and not subtract the cup weight out). Like I said, I eat a lot of frozen yogurt and try to fill my cup up to about the same place each time. Yet, this place was about $1 more than usual each time I went in. hhmmmm.
