Minus one star because their counter layout creates an inevitable traffic jam between customers who are ordering their salads and those who are trying to pay.
Everything was fresh and well prepared. My salmon was well worth the extra $3.50 charge - there are restaurants where I've had much worse cooked fish! It's a bit weird to be eating one's salad out of a giant stainless steel mixing bowl (which is what they start putting everything into), but it makes sense as a concept - they offer to make you a chopped salad if that's what you want.
The ginger sesame dressing was fantastic - I didn't find out until reading the Web site (in prep for writing this review) that it was carb-free. If it has sugar substitutes in it, they were well masked, because I usually loathe any of the fake sugars. The cucumber wasabi dressing was good, too.
They seem to do a booming takeout business (in more standard plastic containers). I wish they had silverware for dine-in, their plastic forks were pretty flimsy.
Worth the price.
